How often are you Naked before swinging sex begins?

I've not got the most perfect body, but I've never really been that self-conscious and I enjoy being naked whenever I can. I enjoy going to mixed saunas and in the summer I'll head off to the coast and go to the beaches that allow nude sunbathing. There's nothing like the feeling of a sea breeze on your skin to make you feel alive and as for swimming in the sea - wonderful.

These visits though are only for a few hours and I always wondered how I'd handle being at a naturist resort for a few days. So a couple of years ago I did exactly that and booked 7 days at a hotel in Vera Playa, southern Spain. After the initial odd feeling of being able to wander naked anywhere around the hotel, I soon relaxed and had a marvellous time. It was the most liberating experience of my life and by the end of the week it was really depressing having to revert back to textile life again. I haven't been back since but I'm busy saving up to go again next year - this thread has got me yearning again.

Nudity is the rule rather than the exception in our house when the kids are gone. During the summer, when the kids are away at some event/camp more than they are home, we are usually nude within minutes of getting home and stay that way until time to leave the house again. We also vacation at a lifestyle friendly nude resort at least once a year. The worst part about being nude for a week is remembering to put clothes on when we walk outside once we get home.

I'm a nudist at heart. I truly believe the only reason clothes exist in moderate climates only as a way to instantly relate your social status, interests, income level, and group affiliations to others. Ever look at winter clothes? No matter how much they cost, the only thing that seperates a $40.00 winter parka from a $4000.00 parka is the label. The same with bathing suits. Unless you look at the label, you can hardly tell a suit from Max 10 from a suit from a top fashion designer. Well, at least not a suit that is actually meant to touch the water.

Nudity is the great equalizer. Without clothes, we would actually have to talk to people to learn about their socio-economic background, and by the time we did, we would probably like the person too much to care.

Then again, I was a serf and forced to wear grey tunic in one of my past lives in Medieval Europe (I was also burned at the stake for discovering penicillin three hundred years too early and curing people of bubonic plague).

I think that social status issues are a part of clothing. The other issue though: clothing can desexualize a culture/community. I'm not terribly keen personally on nudity in situations in which there isn't a bit of community-or a serious mutual commitment to creating such a community.

Interesting question. With summertime heat, less clothing is better. Mrs. likes less than me, but is self concious about a scar around other people. Just the 2 of us and she sheds pretty fast. Now myself on the other hand, I like minimal covering around the house, but regular jeans and such outside, just because of the work I do. (Try welding nekkid sometime, LOL) (hoo boy, even with clothes those little sparks can make you move!) Another reason for the clothes for me, not self consious about size/weight, but I am Hairy! I am semiself concious about that. All the ads we see are for the smooth bodies. That is not me! I have more hair on my butt than most people our age have on their heads! I tryed shaving one time only, and the wife would have none of it again. Wouldn't touch me for about 2 weeks until it grew out more, No sex with a cactus for her! LOL And trying to explain to DR. with a straight face about all those ingrown hairs!!! (and yes,it really is that bad) I just had to throw in my odd humor, thanks.

We have been nudists for over 15 years. It is a very liberating thing to do. The first thing that we do when we get home form work is to take our clothes off. Everyone should spend a day at a nudist club. After a couple hours there, it will seem so natural. It's hard to understand why people wear clothes even when alone. It's you, who you are.
