My Last post talked about first time softness. Now I read the posts and see mentions about the little pill thats blue.

Anyone willing to continue a thread here that tells of the effects that they have experienced?

If you would kindly please mention the following:

- Length of time it took to work
- How hard you were compared to otherwise not using it
- Negative side effects
- Serious side effects if any you have had
- Down time between rounds

From the female here...not that he needed it - just looking for what would happen.

1) Did not take long - about 1 hour or so that I noticed
2) No difference
3) Elevated heart rate and just "strange" overall feeling for him
4) none
5) Like we were in high school

- About half an hour.

- No harder than usual (Any more and he would rip out of his skin! )

- Slight headache when I take a full pill. Not enough to ruin the night but enough to know its there. No headache with 1/2 pill.

- Varies. Sometimes none. Sometimes some. But if there is recovery time it is not as long as with out and he comes back like he was the first time.

I have only taken Viagra 3 times but have had a slightly different experience with it each time I have taken it.

This may vary with age, and I'm 51, so here goes.
1) Length of time - depends on how full my stomach is, if fairly empty, probably 45 minutes if that. (I prefer not to be bloated when I play anyway)
2) I think it's harder than usual, and rather than alternating from semi-hard to hard, it stays that way. The Mrs. comments that she certainly enjoys sucking on a Viagra enhanced bone
3) Negative side effects - sometimes a slight headache, just take a few aspirin when you take the Viagra
4) Serious side effects - None for me at all. But if you've got a heart condition, talk to your doctor first.
5) Recovery time - 30 minutes. And, at my age, a second round in that time period would result in being semi-hard lots of the time, perhaps without orgasm (and it would probably be more like an hour of recovery normally). The nice thing about Viagra is not just the 30 minutes, but nice & hard again, and cumming again is also gonna happen.

I've only tried it a few times in situations where a quick recovery is desired. It takes about a half-hour to feel the slightly fuzzy effect on my vision. That is the only negative feeling.

Since I'm getting into the senior citizen category, there has been a slight softening of a normal erection over time and Viagra makes my erection rock hard. It also does not get totally soft between sessions. The positive effects last through the night and well into the next day, but the fuzzy vision lasts a couple of hours at most.

I use a half-tablet and the sample 6-pack has lasted about 2 years. I think there is still one left in the bottle.

Ok, my experience (only had it once)

- Length of time it took to work: No idea (difficult to say in my case)...
- How hard you were compared to otherwise not using it: Normal, but I just need a bit of help (mostly psychological) when under pressure...
- Negative side effects: none that i noticed...

- Down time between rounds: Had a 2 hour session without orgasm (yes we took breaks), then finished with only one... was fun

Need to add, took only 25mg... which is half the recommended dosage.

From the male here. I've tried it a couple of times:

1) Took effect after 1 hour or so.
2) No difference in stiffness
3) If you want to call it a side effect, my cumshots look like they've been fired by a cannon. Then I *may* feel a bit lightheaded.

5) I stay hard after shooting a load (or two or three) instead of needing 20 or so minutes to recover and get hard again. Also, I find that I don't have problems staying hard the second or third time around. As long as I have cum to shoot, I could go all night. Now I understand why porn stars use it.

15 minutes or so, I can tell because I start feeling flushed/warm all over. And a little bit of blurriness. I always say to T that "the afterburners just kicked in"

EXTREMELY hard. I'm 33 with no problems normally, but this stuff makes me HARD. And it's also LONGER and THICKER. Yeah we've measured, and we're talking 3/4 of an inch longer!

- Negative side effects
A slight "floating" feeling, I've had an upset stomach once but that could have been nerves. Slightly blurred vision, very slight headache. Every time, though, I have heartburn the next morning. I never get heartburn other than when I take it.

Another comment, other than it makes me HUGE (well relatively speaking), it makes me last MUCH longer. Which is good except it's ironic... with "V" I can do it more often, so it's not a "problem" to cum "normally". A few times I'm so TIRED after working to orgasm, I just don't feel like doing it again. Phycially it's working, but I'm dead tired!

As the female in this relationship .... here's my take on the issue .... it works fine, hubby usually takes it 'bout an hour before. BUT ALCOHOL will completely negate any effects. So my advice to y'all is "don't booze and blue" you're wasting your money!

Just a Q J&T, how much do u take? 25/50/100mg?

50mg. I tried 100 and it only made the heartburn worse, and 50mg works fine. Sometimes I may do 50mg and then a couple hours later take another 50mg with no additional heartburn as compared to a single 50mg.

I only have one left and am short on cash so next time I may cut it in half and see how that works

Thanks, as I said, I take 25mg (50mg cut in half), which is the minimum dosage, and half the recommended... Works perfectly well for me.

I thought it was only safe to take 1 tablet/day? The issue obviously is developing priapism (?), ie an erection that doesn't go away (and may cause permanent impotence), and as I understand the risk increases significantly if you take Viagra 2x /day... Mebbe there is a doctor out there who can clear this up for us?

I asked my doctor about Priapism & Viagra (where blood flowing into the penis won't flow out). If the erection lasts more than 2 or 3 hours the blood vessels in the penis become damaged and you will have to rush to your nearest Emergency room for treatment - probably removal of some of the blood. This is very unlikely to occur in people with previous erection problems, but has occurred in young men with normal erections who were hoping to make them even better with the help of Viagra.

Hmmm, is this his exact words? My doctor said that I'd be fine and there is no real threat if you don't misuse it (and he did know why I needed it.. ie my soft(ish) little problem).

I've done a little (internet) research on this myself and haven't seen any mention of evidence about priapism affecting a specific demographic group more when using viagra...
