Using Viagra in Swinging?

Recommended Posts

Do some of you guys use Viagra in swinging situations? I've used it a few times but only with my wife. It gives me a very long lasting erection and I wonder how another woman that you don't know very well would feel about taking so long for you to have an orgasm. All kidding aside, I wonder if it would be a good idea to use it when swinging.

I've never used it, thankfully haven't had to yet. But the day may come...

Having said that, I'd be a bit leery of relying on chemical assistance unless it's necessary. If you're having problems with erectile difficulties now, then you probably already have a good idea of your limitations and needs. However, impotence isn't to be confused with 'performance anxiety', quite common among men in the lifestyle. (been there myself). Simply put, it's difficulty maintaining an erection during a high pressured group sex situation. Sort of like trying to pee with someone watching. (just kidding).

At any rate, I hope your post elicits responses from those who have actually used Viagra in swing situations, I'd be most interested in reading them.

Same as CanadianCouple, we've never used Viagra (yet), nor have we ever swung with others who have used it during playtime with us. But we've heard and known of others who do/did use it while swinging, and they (both male & females) love it!

I guess it all depends with whom you're playing with, and I suggest bringing up this subject with potential swinging partners to see how they feel about it, and if it's okay to use it during your playtime sessions with them, since everyone has their own "preferences" when it cums to swinging.

Personally, if any of our male playmates needed that "extra" boost, I wouldn't mind if they use Viagra, as long as they "give" as much as receive too. Although nothing can beat that ole "natural" sexual high...

Again, to each's own... :)

We haven't used it at all, but we have been with others who have in the swinging scene. Performance Anxiety is pretty common and we know a few guys who have used viagra to get them through it with much success.

What it comes down to is do you really have to have an orgasm when you have sex? We've been with guys who don't necessarily every time they have sex.. either they know they only will come once but want to prolong their play time or whatever.. so they play.. and when it comes close they back off or slow down. So with viagra you don't have that worry either. Then again there is the chance of making the woman feel bad that perhaps she isn't doing it for you if you don't "cum".. so there are a lot of possibilities. Whatever you decide to do you should be honest about it with your swing partners so they know what is up.

The very first time we swung, we went "all the way". Without going into detail, the session became very strained between Janette and the other guy, but she insisted I consumate with his wife. She was on top, and she rode for a good twenty minutes when I noticed her really starting to sweat. I asked her if she was getting tired, and she replied "it's been a long day". She was out of sorts anyway, since I insisted a condom be used (the source of the strained mood). Sensing she wanted it over with, I got on top and finished in a couple of minutes.

It was one of those nights I felt I could've literally gone for hours without cumming, but since then in several sessions with others, (we never swung again with that first couple) it's been a bit of a struggle at times stretching things out. Our long term couple had the same problems at times, the other guy would sometimes cum only two or three minutes after entering Janette. It's difficult to orchestrate a textbook perfect session involving four people, and that's where some understanding and patience has to come in. We've come to the belief that many sessions with the same couple might be the best in bring out the sexual chemistry between everyone involved.

You have all touched on exactly what I was worried about. For me, it is not a matter of dysfunction per se, i its that anxiety thing again. We have swung with 3 couples and a couple of single guys and a few times even though I was excited the worries popped up. I was able to get through it each time and perform as I wanted to but I do worry about it. When I have taken Viagra with my wife, I just seem to go on as long as I want to, and worries or not I stay rock hard.

Thanks for your concern.

Tn_cuple,

OK, I have tried Viagra. I don't need it, never have. But I wanted to try it and I did, a couple of times. Let me tell all of you, it's great! If you can last four times as long, and also have increased sensitivity, PLUS have numerous orgasms, AND stay harder, then what's wrong with that? I have only used it in a couple of situations, when I was greatly concerned about making a good impression. The memory of how good it was is a lasting thing, too. It seems to give me renewed enthusiasm sometimes. Both times my wife was involved, too. I know how it made ME feel, but she could better tell how it made HER feel... To each his own, I guess!

And therein lies a major problem in this lifestyle, performing under pressure.

I've never tried Viagra, but would be most curious to now, after hearing and reading so much about it. At 43, I can still perform pretty well, but I'd be kidding myself if I said there's no difference from me at 23. Many men begin a gradual, almost imperceptable decline in their sexual prowess as they enter middle age. It's something to consider when considering swinging with a couple much younger.

I certainly don't want to advocate a wholesale pharmaceutical approach to having sex, but there are various medications out there that have interesting side effects on sexual performance. Some negative, but some not. There are some medications for anxiety that prolong male orgasm, almost to the point of difficuly achieving it. Women suddenly find themselves with a human battering ram, while the guys wonder if their prostate has gone comatose.

I'm certainly sympathetic to women's sexual issues, and how aging affects them. But it's devastating to a man when he realizes he just can't perform at the same level he could in his 20's. Many jokes have made the rounds about Viagra, but I suspect not everyone sees the humor in them. It's great medical science has helped so many with this drug.

I agree with you absolutely!

Being the same age as yourself, I occasionally ran into "semi problems". I got a script from my Doc on my last physical, and couldn't even explain what a relief it has been. Mainly, not to worry this time. I would go to bed with my girlfriend and want to fuck like a crazy, only to have my Dick fail me, and alot of times out of fear that it Would!

Well, whatever they put in them, it works and having the physical effect they do, sure as heck relieves the metal effect, or should say helps mentally as much as physically.

It's happened to me personally on two occasions, both while swinging with another couple. Same couple, at that.

First time was really pretty funny, since myself AND the other guy were left flapping in the breeze. This was after an extended period of oral, at least 90 minutes straight. I'm telling you, my lower jaw was numb. :( The other lady called a temporary halt to things so both of us studs could tone down the frustration level each of us was feeling about ourselves. After ten minutes or so with the four of us just chatting about things in general, nature began to re-assert herself, and we both had successful (and enjoyable) intercourse with each other's wives.

The second time was a personal nightmare for me. The four of us (same couple) attended a swinger's dance (Halloween theme), an event we had all looked forward to for weeks. Had dinner together first, booked a hotel room together, reeeeeally big buildup. Same scenario, we re-wrote the book on oral sex, I'm like a piece of wrought iron the whole time, then comes time to rip open the condom package. And the son of a bitch goes soft.

In the meantime, her husband and my wife (who's VERY vocal in the throes of orgasm) are busy peeling paint off the walls. Honestly, I worried about someone calling the cops, with her screaming.

And I felt as miserable as a man can feel. I didn't want Janette (my wife) to know, I didn't want to ruin their obvious fun. When J and R finished, she then realized what was going on, and took me into the bathroom to calm me down. I did end up being able get an erection again, and had intercourse with R's wife. Even got some dual oral from both women!

We swung a few times with them after that night, and I had no problems. But I feel as though the performance anxiety thing is like a crazy aunt hidden away in my attic. I know she's there, and I'm afraid she'll wander downstairs again when I least expect it.

Dan,

I hear you loud and clear, my friend. It's that very reason, ANXIETY, that I'd like to keep a couple of those viagras on hand. I don't have any, at present... LOL But I sure would love to have some handy. If nothing else, it's INSURANCE that if things don't work properly, you have a viable alternative on hand!!

To tell something funny on myself here, I had a visit to my doctor before our first encounter into swinging. It was just a routine checkup deal, to make me feel better beforehand....

Well, I asked the doctor if I could try viagra. You know, they have these free samples that they give out to patients who are interested.... He looked over his thick glasses at me and said, "What's wrong, son, you can't get it up??"

This must have really hit home on my male ego! Well, I said, "Oh, sure, I can get it up... I just have problems..."

He said, "How often do you and your wife have sex?"

(Like an idiot) I replied, "Every night!"

The doctor stumbled and almost fell in his own office!! LOL He exclaimed, "REALLY?? My God, son, you deserve a medal!!" Then, he smiled and said, "You ain't getting any viagra!"

Screwed again! I was too honest for my own good....

*Shaking my head LOL WITH Ron*

Reminds me of our visit to the doctor's, we asked him for a referral for hubby to get the BIG "V" surgery, since "we didn't wish to have anymore children". I was waiting for the doctor to ask us, "Why? Aren't you (Moi) already sterile?" *lol*

Thank GOODness, he didn't "go there"! *lol*

While we're on the "subject" here....Have anyone here ever tried that herbal Yohimbie (sp?) thingie? What are the pros & cons of the effectiveness, if any? Just curious, being that it's viagra's competitor...

BTW Ron, you should've told the doc, that was ORAL sex, NOT penetration! *LOL WITH you again*

CyberMWCouple,

What can I say?? LOLOL I screwed up, as in "If you snooze, you lose!!" I should have AT LEAST lied but I just couldn't.... my ego was a lot bigger than my brain... LOL

The Yohimbee stuff is great! It acts just about like viagra, and is consequently a lot cheaper. At the GNC places, they sell an exotic blend that they call "Male Fuel" which has a lot of Yohimbee in it. I think it's the main ingredient. Anyhow, it's supposed to really supercharge the guy....

And if the wife ever tries Niagara (for women only) then he (the guy) will certainly need either viagra or Yohimbee to keep up!!!

Ron and Cyberwife --

I looked into Yohimbee and a few other aphrodisiac herbs. Unfortunately, they're off limits to anyone with BP problems. And that's me. :(

A bit of an embarrassing moment while searching for Yohimbee. J and I visited a local herb and vitamin store looking for it, and when we couldn't find it on our own, asked the young woman behind the counter if she stocked it. She'd never heard of it before, and asked us what it was used for. Janette and I looked at each other, neither speaking, until Janette stammered out "personal reasons". The clerk's sly little grin said it all.

Christ, I could have died of embarrassment.

Ron...Telling the doc you were having "oral" sex, wouldn't be lying! You did have oral sex every day, right?! *lol*

And Dan...GNC has "Yohimbe For Women", and labeled as that too, I believe. It's a bit more costly, than the Yohimbe "Energizer" for Women, or something like that, because it has 1500mg of the Yohimbe ingredient.

Whereas, the Energizer Yohimbe has less than 500mg. How much is necessary, I guess you have to check with your doctor or pharmacist. But 1500mg seems like a LOT, if you ask me!

And btw Dan....*Whispering to ya* The Yohimbe products are usually found under the Men's and Women's Health section in GNC, or your local pharmacy too.

Just because we don't use it, doesn't mean we don't know where it is! It's good to know what "options" are available to us! *lol*

Well, lucky for me, my insurance covers Viagra. I only use it about once a month but, like was already said, its nice to have the insurance.

I heard yesterday on our local news, Viagra use is rampant in the porn industry. It's being used to help speed things up(presumably to get the guys to stay hard for entire scenes without having to stop and re-energize erections)

The sad part is, reportedly in some cases they're taking Viagra in amounts that far exceed recommended dosages.

Dan,

Anything taken at doses exceeding recommendations is a bad thing. Still, those people know that cutting down costs and doing things in less time mean more money in their pockets. I guess it's the old law of supply and demand, hey!!
