We were swinging while dating, now married and she has changed her mind

sorry...i didnt really mean to be sarcastic...i think the internet just kinda brings out the sarcastic side of me. Because my wife and i are just at the "curious" stage right now, it's hard to imagine these activities as being anything but the icing on the cake to our sex life. I really didnt mean to sound so critical of you...

Actually i think this is a really interesting thread...i suppose if my wife and i had started out as swingers before we got married, and then she changed her mind, i might feel like i had been cheated. But my own wife changes her mind almost daily about many, many things...she's full of surprises! *L*...If she seems like she's "pulling back" on the adventurous sex activities, its usually because she feels like the activities are more important to me than she is. Once i sit down with her and explain how SHE is the important one in my life, things are usually a lot better.

I didn't find your posting sarcastic at all. In actuality it was very helpful and just goes to show that generally regardless of the situation at hand, swinging or non-related, how much experience you have.....relationships among couples are typically the same.

Sound advice can be offered by anyone when it comes to swinging, whether they are just curious, new, or veterans.

For the most part in situations like this we are tossing out ideas that relate to communication. Communication is indeed the most important aspect, in my opinion and overrides the "No means, No rule" in my eyes when it comes to swinging. If you aren't successful communication with your partner, then you probably will not be successful in swinging.
