  1. We stayed at Caliente in Tampa for a few days last summer and each room had a mirror on the ceiling. We enjoyed it so much that I came home trying to figure out how we could pull it off without the kids noticing!
  2. Thanks for the feedback on this. We’re headed to RM in October 2020. As I mentioned in OP, we’re not technically in the LS but some comments from my better half have given me a clue her mind might be warming to the possibility!
  3. Emt,

Sorry to reach out to you out the blue like this, but I just stumbled upon your post about going to the club for the first time from back in April and mentioned trying out Pleasure Garden in Philly (we live in DE), which peaked my interest. Have you made it there yet? If so, would you share any thoughts/experiences you had? My wife and I aren’t necessarily in the LS, but we’ve (mainly I) talked about it for several years. We’ve been to Hedo on a day/night pass and spent a week at Caliente in Tampa (wife played with another wife at Hedo, but no swap and stayed to ourselves physically at Caliente, as the wife’s not ready for a swap yet, but loves watching and being watched, and being in the erotic environment)...we’ve talked about going to PG soon, but despite all the fun we’ve had at Hedo/Caliente she’s a little unsure of PG...any info or insight you can provide, if you did in fact make it there, is greatly appreciated!

  4. Heading out to Los Cabos Mexico in February 2020 for business and was thinking of visiting a lifestyle friendly place for a few days beforehand. We’ve done some research, but info has been scarce. Does anyone know of LS clubs or resorts in the area? Any and all info is greatly appreciated, thanks!!
  5. Hello all...we’re doing our research on this, but was hoping to get input from those of you with experience. My wife and I are looking to go to one of the 2 Desire resorts next March, but don’t know which one is the best fit for what we’re looking for...we’re a relatively fit married couple (19yrs) in our 40s...not in the LS, but have experienced hot voyeurism/exhibitionism on a day/night pass at Hedo (again, not in LS but wife did arrange a nice wife/wife session in the Romp Room that I enjoyed watching...something she also tried in high school apparently) and four night stay at Caliente in Tampa...we like to stay on the fringes of the LS, but love interacting with people...don’t want to be surrounded by “senior swingers” (no offense, but we’re sure to get there someday!?), but also don’t want to be around immature hard bodies either! The limited chances we get to take vacation, we like to treat ourselves well at nice resorts and restaurants...we like to party, dance and drink, so definitely want a fun vibe wherever we decide to go. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, J PS completely irrelevant to my original question, but I’d also like to hear from any women who were initially reluctant to participate in the LS as to what finally pushed them over the edge. I’m not trying to convince my wife of anything, as for me it HAS to be on her terms completely. I’m just curious what various couples’ tipping point might have been!
  6. I just wanted to follow up with some comments on our trip (this post is long overdue!). We are not exactly in the Lifestyle, but enjoy hanging around the fringes of it...and Caliente was perfect for this (we’d previoysly done a day/night pass at Hedo)! The place is a little dated, but we knew that going in so our expectations were lowered. We weren’t paying for a five star resort, but more paying for “the experience”. As a “resort” it definitely outperformed our lowered expectations (especially the food!). The atmosphere was fun and exciting, even though the weather was not. It was tamer during the day than I though it would be. A lot of people were there, but being our first extended stay at a place like this I guess we expected more daytime “action”. However, the night time and conversation pool action was great(with Saturday being the best)! We watched and were watched, just like we wanted. While we were not looking to hook up with anyone, we did meet a ton of great people. I did get the impression it was a bit cliquey there, but we just ended up talking to people outside the cliques, which was plenty for us. While we did enjoy it, we went using the promotional price (very low pressure sales pitch BTW) and I’m not sure I’d go again if we had to pay full price (maybe if we lived within driving distance). We’re planning a trip to a Desire Resort for next spring instead, so any suggestions on which of the two resorts a mid-40s relatively in-shape couple that likes to have a good time should go are greatly appreciated(but not “that good of time”? ...her choice)! I’d be happy to answer any specific questions about Caliente anyone may have, because while we didn’t participate in the highest level of fun, we sure saw a lot of it! PS I’ll never forget watching a guy take his daily morning stroll around the complex in nothing but ankle weights!!
  7. Thanks to all who responded, there is some good info here. Haven’t decided on condo or hotel yet, but we’re definitely going. This will be our first stay at any clothing optional/lifestyle resort (other than day/night pass at Hedo last April) and we’re definitely excited, but also apprehensive as we’re not fully immersed into the lifestyle yet (but going naked is not a problem, so that’s one issue we’re totally at ease with!). Thanks again!
  8. Hello all, my wife and I are looking into going to Caliente Tampa in late June and was hoping someone here could shed some light on the accommodations. I’ve been able to find info on the social scene, which looks to be fun (but please feel free to let us know more), but I can’t find a whole lot on the rooms/condos. Not expecting a 5 Star resort, but would like some sort of insight. Should we stay at hotel or Casita (not sure what this even is) or condo? Also any info on experience if you took the Club Preview Tour promotion would also be greatly appreciated. We’re looking forward to a great time (we’ve only experienced a day/night pass at Hedo...good times!), but don’t want it to be ruined by substandard accommodations. Thanks for any input you can provide! J and L
