This week's Member of the Week is Coupleerotic22. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Sunday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosy, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Try to ask only one question (or group of questions) per post, to make it easier for the interviewee to answer the questions, and also to allow for others to ask their questions.

If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

Sorry for the delay in replying. The phone company is installing new services in our area it has cause us to loose internet connection, they are trying to figure out why now, so I have to rely on Hotspots until it is fixed.

We are a married couple, he does most of the posting, she prefers to read, but he is working on getting her to post.

She is 42 he is 44

Both born on February - he is Aquarius, she is Pisces

We are happily married for 21 years

We have been swinging for less than a year

We prefer swinging with couples, but do entertain the occasional single

Biggest pet peeves are lying, possessiveness, jealousy. Can’t stand stupidity either, like, “oh, I forgot I had to wear a condom.” Please, we have only said it 60 times. Either you are too stupid to fuck or stupid enough to think we are that stupid.

We have been married for almost 22 years and two great children, both are still in single digit age range. We met in college and married young. It was love at first site for him, but she was not sold, in fact she didn’t like much to start with, he was a jock and she thought he was arrogant. He thought she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen and the sweetest too. He was persistent and he grew on her, lol.

We had a good marriage, but not great because we didn’t know how to communicate with each other. After years of working on it we finally figured it out, thanks mainly to her. We had misconceptions about each other. We finally agreed that no matter what we could and would talk to each other with complete truthfulness. We discovered things we thought about each other were just wrong and based on assumptions and misunderstandings from early in our relationship. Ever since then we have been extremely happy and love each other even more than before, we would both describe our marriage as great now. It is great not because of swinging, although it certainly has added some new dimensions. We swing because our marriage is great. We both could never have seen this working before we found the level of openness we have now.

She is the one that no one would believe is in the lifestyle and he is the one everyone would shrug their shoulders and say, “yeah, that figures.” We were very vanilla for the first 10 years, and then we started talking about fantasies of having other people involved in our sex life. She thought it was fun, but “hell no, no way it is ever going to happen,” was her standard response. Then one day out of the blue, she said she wanted to experience other people. He had before we married, she hadn’t. Because we got to the point we could talk about anything, she felt she could tell him without him freaking out. She made it real clear that she loved him but wanted to see what she had missed and hopefully have some fun with it. To her surprise he was on-board with it.

We started slow, read many articles, made a bunch of rules, got on a few sites, made a few mistakes before we ever met anyone else. We finally hooked up with a single guy in order to fulfill a couple of her fantasies. Things went great! We decided to throw out most of the rules because we realized how silly they were. Now we have a handful, mostly about safety and communications. Then we started meeting couples, some great, some not so much. But on whole we have had a great experience and are loving every minute of it.

Our kids are our number one focal point, though we wouldn't call em hobbies, lol. We are both big time foodies, he loves to cook, she loves to read mystery novels and we are both into computers.

He loves most sports, football is number one to watch. He likes to play golf and basketball. She doesn't like watching sports on TV but loves going to watch them live, football and hockey would be her top 2.

We both love animated movies (even before we had kids). After that, she loves mysteries and thrillers. He likes true life stories.

Orgy, she has recently gotten excited about that, which gets him excited, lol. He is also still looking for the elusive FMF.

Absolutely, we love going out for Saturday and/or Sunday breakfast. We usually go out mid morning and take the kids. Being Southern we love pancakes, bacon, eggs, grits and REAL country ham. (Much of what is called country ham isn't. Real country ham is salt cured and is magnificent).

There are a number of good breakfast places around here as well as BBQ and blue plate lunch places. Since Frank Stitt came back to Birmingham we have had a surge in high end very good restaurants as well. Highlands Bar & Grill, Hot & Hot Fish Club, Oceans, Botega's and Botellos just to name a few. So we have a nice mix of top end cuisine mixed with local.

Growing up his family had a garden, it covered about a 1/4 acre with fresh vegetables, in addition we had apple, peach, pear trees and blueberry and blackberry bushes.

Now we have some small planters, mainly for tomatoes and herbs.

Our rules are pretty simple.

1. Communicate, completely and openly. NOW is always the right time to say what is on your mind.
2. Safety before everything else. Condoms and personal security are a must.
3. If either of us is uneasy with a situation we move on. If in doubt, get out.
4. Protect our relationship and family. Nothing comes before family. Playtime never takes place of family time. Emotions are fine, but if either of us feels its becoming something more then we end it.
5. We are in this to enjoy ourselves. If either of us is no longer having fun then we stop.
6. Have a much fun as you want as long as it doesn't conflict with first 5 rules.

We are full swap, though we MIGHT entertain soft with the right couple. We play same or separate rooms. At parties we can split if one of us finds the right person, we don't relegate ourselves to coupling in those situations. We can play solo if the situation dictates and we both feel comfortable with the other person. She has done so once, with the Male of a couple we play with, because he was unavailable for an extended period due to surgery. He has not yet, but the door is always open to it.

Other than condoms we don't have any rules about what the other does sexually. We let our comfort level with the person and our own preferences dictate what happens. There are things she will do when he is in the same room, but won't if he is not. That is her call tough.

We started out with rules about what we couldn't do with others, but quickly realized we were just placing arbitrary rules and not letting each other have as much fun as possible. We both want to the other to have a great time every time, so we scratched those rules. About the only thing we have left from those is, our bed is our bed alone. Since we have kids and do not entertain in our house, it is not really a big deal anyway.

Does one of you usually initiate contact with new people more than the other?

We are pretty flexible actually. We enjoy intimate settings with one couple, getting to know each other and being able to talk at a normal level. But we both enjoy the occasional party as well. It is fun to cut loose and have a good time, dance, meet many couples at once. We are probably 60-40 toward intimate, maybe 65-35.

Depends on how you mean contact. Online, he usually introduce us and meets people first. She jumps in at some point and catches up. Sometimes she initiates the contact, but usually it is me.

In person, she is pretty shy until she gets to know you. We usually meet a couple first as just a M&G. However, once she decides she likes you (and we have talked about if I like the other women) she doesn't waste time. She is usually kissing the guy and getting down to business before he has finished saying hello, but if you haven't noticed he is long winded. lol

We used to love to travel, but he did it for a living for so long we grew to hate it. We have not traveled much since we had children, so we are starting to miss it a bit.

Neither of us have traveled outside North America, but we have traveled all over the U.S., as well as Canada and Mexico.

We love DC, Boston, New York, Chicago to visit. He has been all over the Western part of the U.S. as well and loves Denver, Phoenix, and LA.

We also like to go to Florida, particularly the small island resorts.

But in the end we are both very happy living in the South, except when temperature reaches the high 90's in early June (because we know its only going to get hotter). lol
