Clubs and online are the two ways we've met partners. Both have had pluses and minuses. Lots more pluses Each has their strengths. I think we'd spend more time at clubs if they were closer to us and things got hopping sometime before midnight. We'd prefer to play in the evening, to get home to our kids. Finding a sitter willing to take kids past midnight; that's tricky. A sitter to past 3 a.m.? Forget it. Very rare.

The most we've actually driven is about 1.5 hours. It was the first time we knowingly met anyone else in the lifestyle. The meet up was pretty much a bust, but it still provided an education point for us.

There's couples we've interacted with from great distances away from us whom we're interested in. One couple in particular...wow, I mean WOW! we want to meet them, but they're really too far. But we'd do it if the logistics would work in our favor (kids again).

Yes we'd be happy to meet people from out of town. We're not bed post beavers, but we also recognize that fun can be had in single sized bites, and yes we'll play on the first 'date'.

So what would you say about being members of the week? Would you recommend the experience?

It was less of an sitting-on-the-hot-seat experience that I thought it would be I sort of expected more questions than there were directed specifically at my wife. Oh well

It's a good experience. It gives people the opportunity to ask questions of a poster whom they haven't had a chance to really ask in the public forum. The idea could get bound by repetitive questions (each motw interview having the same questions for example), and seem boring to regulars reading them. Overall, I think it's a good thing.

Your wife and mine seem to share at least two things in common. 1) Jumping into swinger activities was an idea she brought to me 2) She like country music. I grateful for both.
