We are happy to welcome another new member to the hot seat this week.

This week's Members of the Week is Soft Swap 4. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Sunday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosy, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Try to ask only one question (or group of questions) per post, to make it easier for the interviewee to answer the questions, and also to allow for others to ask their questions.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

Also, please keep in mind that any answers you post are viewable to complete strangers. There is some risk in that. Again, all questions are optional.

We are married with three children (12, 9, and 5). We both review emails and post replies but the husband is usually the one checking for posts or emails. We are both 43 but have the bodies of a couple in their late 20's. She was recently told by a playmate that she has the body of a 20 year old soccer player! We live in Portland, Oregon and have lived here for 17 years. She grew up here and he grew up in Florida. We own a business for the past 14 years here. We've been swinging since the beginning of 2009 but got a bit of a taste of it in October 2008. We prefer to play with couples but he did get a hall pass this Summer that he did not use! Our biggest pet peeve are the single guys who post an ad on a swingers site as a couple.

Hello Michael! We work from our home, but as our business has matured the responsibilities have pretty much divided along the lines of him doing the majority of the face time with the customers and her covering down on the management of the office and managing the office help. We do spend more time together than most married people do and we have figured out how to do that and still be friendly toward one another!

Hello to both of you fellow Oregonians!

So what's your preference for meeting couples? Do you play with a set group, make use of the various web sites or do you frequent one of Oregons clubs?

How did you two meet?

We are too new to play with a set group yet, but I imagine it will happen eventually. We find it less stressful to meet couples at clubs bc lives can be so busy that when so much time is spent trying to meet up at a restaurant or somewhere and the other couple backs out, it is kinda deflating. Of the five meetings we've set up, only one has backed out. We won't make a date with someone and then not show up.

We are not sure about the local clubs, though. We would hate to run into someone from church or who is one of our customers. We prefer out of state clubs or meeting online. So we have accounts of SwingLifeStyle and Lifestyle Lounge under Softswap4.

Have you been to New Horizons in Seattle? One of our most favorite'ist couples in the world, not to mention the lifestyle, live in Portland and that's where they go periodically.

Absolutely! We have a great time there in April and that is where I saw my wife kiss and touch another woman and her husband, and where I kissed another woman for the first time since we've been married! (20 years) That night certainly changed how we looked at swinging! A blast! New Horizons is the best of the four clubs we've been to. We went to Discrettins several times in Phx and Encounters in Phx. Went to Eros and New Horizons in Seattle.

It happened quite by accident! I saw an ad for Drag Queen night at the Oregon Theater. Clueless to what the theater was, I suggested to Brenda that we go watch the drag queen show thinking it would be some comedy! When we got there we learned it was cross dresser and swinger's night. The guy told us that thru those doors was basically a live porn show and that pretty much anything goes between consenting adults.

We decided to go in and just see what it was all about. It was actually pretty seedy, but there was a couples area that separated us from all the single guys roaming around. There was porn playing quietly on the big screen.

After a bit we started making out and touching each other as we sat on the couch. I could tell that Brenda was turned on a lot and so I asked her if she wanted oral. She said that she was scared and I thought that meant "No". I thought about it and realized that she meant that she was scared to say yes! So I took her jeans off and gave her what she wanted. We both just kept our eyes slammed shut till we were done! We could hear guys moving in close and it was all just so gross but the oral was erotic!

When we walked out the manager asked what we thought. I paused for a moment and answered thoughtfully, "It is incongruent with who we THINK we are."

The next day Brenda sat down and asked if we could talk about what happened. She said she felt sick about it and I agreed. Then she qualified it: "I'm sick bc there is something about it that I really liked and I just am not sure how to reconcile it with the kind of girl I've been my whole life."

We decided to attend some clubs and played only with each other, never even thinking for a second that the possibility existed to involve anyone else. Then we were approached at a club by a couple, had some great conversation, and then were asked if we would like to play. Brenda and I were speechless and asked if we could talk alone for a minute. We came back and said we'd be ok with same room but no touching.

Horizon's was our next venture and we had some soft swap-over touching and kissing. That was fun! And unexpected, as we hadn't talked about that. Then we met up with a couple just for beverages and ended up joining them in their room and we each gave and received oral. That was an amazing night.

That is as far as we have gone and we don't see ourselves going past that! But, truthfully, we never saw ourselves ever having sex next to another couple either...how far we've come!

We do not/have not grown a garden! The reason is because we believe strongly that you should live next door to one and cultivate your neighbor! Hee! Hee!
