This week's Member of the Week is bdrcc1. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Sunday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosy, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Location: Northwestern Montana
Relationship Status: Married going on 28 years (05/22/82)
Swinging for how long?: Seriously for past 3 years (now that we have an empty nest)
Prefer to swing with?: Couples mostly but mfm and ffm is good too!
Biggest pet peeve: Game playing and drama. We like real people with real lives - but leave the drama and problems at home. We like to play and have fun but no whining.
Brief intro: As mentioned above - we have been married for almost 28 years and although we just started swinging seriously for the past 3 years we have been doing it on and off for our entire marriage.

We met 30+ years ago on the freeway. My (Michal) mother was a nurse and we stopped at an accident (that we also witnessed) on Hwy 50 in the Sacramento (California) area (at the Sunrise over-crossing) and Tom was "Jonny Gage". He was the paramedic that responded. It was not romantic. He was arrogant and "God's gift to all mankind". My mother saw something that I obviously did not. So, she made me go out with him. And the rest....... is history.

We ended up in Los Angeles on the corporate fast track. Bla, bla, bla, quack, quack, quack. No whining! We jumped off and moved to the slow lane. The slow everything. We sold everything and bought a ranch in Montana and raised the kids, dogs, cattle and horses. Now we relax, ride horses, sit in the hot tub, play and relax some more in the "last best place".

As a former Montana resident, we sure do miss it up there.
It's one of the few places on this earth I'd move back to.

For starters a non-sexual question.

What is your favorite food?

And of course, one of the infamous sexual questions...

What is the first thing you look at in a man/woman?

Mr. BDR here. Our county got our first fast food a Sub Way. For the past decade we have had to drive to Spokane or Missoula for something good to eat, I like the roasted chicken. As far as what the first thing I look at in a woman Hmmm. Her eyes and her lips, If we make Eye contact then I will watch her lips, if there is any thing going on her eyes and smile will show it.

Mrs. bdr. Favorite food has to be chocolate. I think chocolate should have a recommended daily allowance. I love everything chocolate - it can be very sexual. 1st thing I look at on a man - his butt. I love a good firm shapely butt. On a women, after her face, her breasts. I love a good set of boobs, What can I say.

Here's a biggie: Which one of you first broached the subject of swinging? Him? Her? A mutual fantasy? Something else entirely?

Hmmm That was 27 years ago friends wanted to play poker and being the smart ass I am I upped the ante. What a great night and to this day we are still friends .

You're living the life I dream about -- getting off of the corporate merry-go-round. I guess a couple simply needs to decides to do it.

Why did you choose Montana? I've lived in Wyoming and worked in Montana (Miles City). Both are nearly like Paradise during the summer. But in winter, my family, like most people, made plans in their heads for moving away as soon as the drifted snow allowed them out the front door.

It was as far away from L.A. as we could go and still be in the lower 48. We wanted more than rural we wanted remote our place is 5 miles from the black top and power. Forest service on all sides. We make our own power, food and FUN. Year round creek, 5 springs in the middle of the forest, I think we need to start planing a spring party! Naked horse back any body?

What kind of music do you like?

Does one of you do most of the "work" of swinging (maintaining profiles, etc) or are you both equally involved?

Our horses and each other, Country and oldies 60,70,and 80's. I Mr Bdrcc am a stay at home dad to our 3 horses and two dogs, so I am on line most of the day. But I am able to IM and pass on info all day to Mrs bdrcc

Living so far in the boonies that you have to pump sunshine in (as we say in these parts), do you find it difficult finding playmates that are willing to drive to you or do you two do most of the driving to meet playmates?

The last house party we went to was five couples and it was fun but I Mr. Bdrcc prefer threesomes its just a me thing. I enjoy taking my time and enjoying each moment, slowing things down focusing on one person and then repeating it over and over.
