This week's Members of the Week are JustMrJ and JustMrsJ. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Sunday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Now that your 15 minutes of fame have arrived . . . Let's say two movie studios are vying for the rights to produce a film about your life story. One is a documentary, including interviews with friends and family. The other would be a typical Hollywood B movie. Which project gets the green light?

And if you choose the B movie, who gets to play you?

Hmm... for me it would be the 'B Movie' and to play me... well, definitely not a well known actor. A truly unknown budding actor would do well in that role...

We have not yet played at home and probably will not. Two reasons... We have a neighbor in the same building (legally a room mate, but the unit is like two separate two bedroom units) and he has a underage son...this coupled with the fact that my wife 'sings' when she is having fun and it only gets louder (much louder) as she nears the big-O, that it would be problematic I think.

We have found that play time with others at hotels, their place or a house party setting is much more comfortable to us.

Was it Mr. or Mrs. J's idea to get into the lifestyle? How was it presented?

It was not something really presented as developed over time...

I was the only one with a prior experience with multiple partners at a time (MFM). My wife was (*GASP*) a virgin when we met. I only relieved her of that burden about a year before we were married. Before we even tied the knot, she would point out other women to me. I asked her why and she said "you only have one place to go with your excitement/frustration". Now this got me to thinking that she could possibly be okay with the idea of me and other partner as there was the pointing out of other women (and I did start pointing out other guys) and we had joked 'Not without his/her permission' on more than one occasion.

I brought up the idea after I had done a bit of research myself and we had many numerous discussions about our fantasies, likes and dislikes of the opposite sex, personalities of others that we liked/disliked. We also discussed what we felt the difference between sex and love was. (Yep, to us they are VERY different things)

The last thing I wanted to do was cheat on her and I felt that she deserved to have more than just me as a sexual partner. I too have always had a fairly large appetite for women... just can't seem to get enough. My wife says it's okay, I am a man after all.

So eventually, about two years ago, I signed up on this board and suggested she read along with me. She did for a while, but life began to distract us with various family/work/life issues. I came by from time to time, but mostly to lurk.

This year, things were going quite well for us and we began talking about it again. I told her my account was still active and why didn't she make one for us both to start gaining even more insight into this curiously fun sounding Lifestyle.

She agreed and began asking me more and more questions about how I would feel if she was with another man. She was truly worried about how she might be really jealous, so we discussed this issue as well.

After we made the decision to give it a try, we signed up for SLS and joined a few groups in our area... the rest as they say, is history...

To date we have had much fun at the parties and enjoy them a lot.

The double dates (play dates) we have been on have been quite fun as well. I do like the intimacy that comes with the play dates, but at the same time there is more variety at the parties...

At this point we will keep the parties up and leave the play dates for those whom we 'click' with at the parties for some in between party fun.

Do you find it more "freeing" to have separate profiles here - so that one never has to explain if it's Him or Her that's posting a particular statement or response?? Was one profile set up initially and the other was invited to join & create a separate profile?

And while it PROBABLY isn't an issue - are there discussions or threads where one of y'all is deeply involved in the topic and the other has no interest in reading?

My profile was created initially as stated in an above post. I didn't feel it necessary to combine them by creating a new profile called "JustMrandMrsJ" as it is usually me who actively posts. She has done some, but I respond more and she reads more (lurking ).

She has never really felt comfortable posting on forum boards... she's more of an active reader and talker. I'm still working on teaching her that posting on forums is a regular conversation... just really slow... not as slow as penpals used to be, but slower than a live chat.

If there is a topic that I feel she would really enjoy reading or has some excellent information that pertains more to her, then I usually point it out.

Are there any fetishes or fantasies which you'd like to indulge in that your partner does not satisfy? Have you tried fulfilling those with any of your swing partners?

No worries. Wasn't trying to make you feel bad... just reference.

As to the fetishes or fantasies. My wife and I have been working together to get her comfortable with anal penetration. We are only at small toys and fingers right now. One of the ladies at the parties we regularly attend has been so kind as to consent to have anal play with me during our next 'play date' or party.

I had enjoyed anal a few times with an older woman that had kicked my feet out from under me after I turned 18 (I call her my sexual teacher). Until my wife, I had not been with another woman willing to even try anal intercourse. Now with the prospect of a play partner also letting me indulge, I will be able to give my wife a third person perspective. :p

That's probably the one that is closest to being fulfilled in the near future.
