This week's Member of the Week is WillieWonders. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Sunday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosey, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Try to ask only one question (or group of questions) per post, to make it easier for the interviewee to answer the questions, and also to allow for others to ask their questions.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

How do we get ya'll naked?

Good morning! I'm glad to have found this site. I am Willie aka Val, the female 1/2 of a couple married 29 years. I am 48 and Walt aka Bob is 51. We live in the NW suburbs of Chicago and have been playing at swinging for more than a dozen years.

We prefer to play with couples, but have had some success with singles as well. We've met people just about every way I can think of, except in a dark alley . We've played on vacations, at clubs (on and off premise), conventions, meet n greets and house parties. We were a part of a club host team for several years and have been lucky enough to meet people from all over the US. We just started meeting couples online in the last few years. I miss the spontanaeity of meeting people at clubs, the internet can be a lot of work! We've tried several of the websites and have found that Swing Lifestyle suits us best. We are bvoabl there.

We are lucky enough to still have a few clubs within a couple of hours, but there are fewer and fewer of them and a lot of the people attending seem to be more into the atmosphere than they are into sharing. We have a boat we keep on Lake Michigan and prefer to host there during the summers months.

LOL - it doesn't take much to get us naked. We are some of those nudist swingers . A perfect Sunday afternoon is being on the boat, nekkid sunning and playing about a mile offshore. We're short on the sunshine here the last few weeks though ~

Bob has stopped in a few times, he's not much of a board reader.
Pet Peeves? In the realm of swinging I am peeved by people who misrepresent themselves or don't bother to read the words we have written. Day to day life, I dislike inconsiderate/thoughtless people. And labels. I am particularly peeved with labels and labelers.

We have played both ways. New friends, especially those who aren't familiar with boats get alittle freaked out on the lake at nite. Daytime playtime on the lake is more likely. The marina is fun too, although there are privacy and volume issues that need to be dealt with occasionally. Sex in the marina reminds me of when the kids were little and we'd have to remember to 'stifle' so as not to wake them up!

Umm, neither of us. We had some friends (more like aquaintances) that dared us to go to 'the wildest party you've ever been to' one night at a neighborhood BBQ. We were both a bit sheltered before this but always adventurous in other ways. We stood up to the dare, knowing little of the details. We ended up at Conclave, which at the time was the biggest swinger/alternative convention in the midwest. I did the deer in the headlights, honey get me another drink thing for most of the dance. Bob was very protective and was quite surprised when I said, OK - let's go upstairs and see the rest. We ended up playing in a party room that night, without all the usual discussion of boundaries, etc.

We shared a room with the friends who had brought us, but didn't play with them. They turned out not to be swingers, just party animals (as a matter of fact, they are no longer a couple). When we were finally alone the next day, we were both surprised to learn that we had a great time, that there was no jealousy and we wanted to do it again! We decided to try a saner approach though. We searched out clubs in our area and began to frequent them (one in particular) regularly. And that was the beginning.

Knowing what I do about the lifestyle now, this should have been a disaster. For us that one dare has provided years of sexual satisfaction and fun. We've continued to evolve in our relationship and are constantly reminded that there is always something new to learn about your partner and yourself.

We've gone to nudist campgrounds and been on nude vacations. We don't seek out nudists, but when the opportunity arises, we're the first ones to get naked. Most of the nudist campgrounds we've been to frown on swingers, we have learned to avoid those like the plague!

I love to read, but I don't have as much time to do it as I used to. I like all kinds of mysteries, especially. Right now, I'm reading a paperback called The Good Liar. Fun fluff.

I like biographies too.

My favorite book of the last few years has got to be Middlesex by Jeffery Eugenides.
