This week's Member of the Week is JustAskJulie (yes your Hostess). We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Sunday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosey, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Try to ask only one question (or group of questions) per post, to make it easier for the interviewee to answer the questions, and also to allow for others to ask their questions.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

GatorVol is out of town and evidently not enough of you have stepped up to actually do interviews (they are painless really) so here I am in the hotseat.

Gender (if not a couple): I'm the female half of a couple. My other half posts here as OwnersPet (in case you haven't already figured that out).
If a couple, which one primarily posts: For obvious reasons I have a pretty high post count.

Relationship status: Married for barely a year.
Swinging for how long?: I've been swinging off and on for over 10 years.
Prefer to swing with: My husband! LOL. Really as long as he's there and happy with what's going on I'm pretty ok with whatever combination the other people may fall in.
Biggest Pet Peeve: Screaming Children
Brief Intro: This is always the hard part for me... an intro. I'm Julie I run this site, I'm a swinger. I started swinging over 10 years ago with my ex-husband. Attempted to swing as a single female after we got divorced but discovered that just really wasn't for me. Intruduced Pet to the concept when we got together and now I feel as tho we are starting over together...

Lots of questions. Right now we are just soft swap. It's not that we plan to stay at soft swap it's just that the situation/couple hasn't presented itself to us to go that next step.

I'll let Pet answer the question as to what he's into.

Our preferred method for finding partners is clubs/socials. It gives us the opportunity to meet lots of people at one time and have a good time while we are doing it. If things click and we want to play we can play. If we meet someone we want to get to know better we have that option too.

I don't know if I've told the story... not really much of a story (I write so much on here I can't remember what I've said! LOL). Basically, we have a very long history and have known each other for like 20 years, dated many years ago and a couple of years ago he looked me up and we realized all the old feelings were still there. Since I knew we wanted this to work I felt it was important to let him in on all my secrets very early on. I think on the first phone call I told him I run an "alternative lifestyle" website. That peaked his interest because his first thought was some sort of BDSM site. Within a couple of weeks I laid it all out, what the site was, what my past was, etc and invited him to check out the site to learn more. He was accepting of all of it, not sure initially if it would be something that we would do together or where it would go, but obviously knowing that if we were going to work he'd have to at least be ok with the lifestyle and being around people in the lifestyle because this site is so much a part of my life. So within about the first 6 months we visited a local social and went to a dinner meet & greet and just let him feel his way. As he was ready we also visited an on-premise club (which soon became our favorite place to spend a weekend night).

Honestly, the fact that I didn't have to be monogamous.

I'll ready almost anything. I'm not really into sci-fi or fantasy type books. I do enjoy thrillers, horror and some light reading. Lately I've been reading the books by Jonathan Nasaw, most of which are psychological thrillers about fictional serial killers.

Movies - again I'm a huge movie buff (If you can't tell from my scores when movie day pops up on). The movies that stick with me though are the movies that are about something, that make you think. Saved!, The United States of Leland, Elizabethtown, The Girl Next Door all hold some meaning for me. Then for movies I can watch a million times and just enjoy - Love Actually, Bad Santa, 10 Things I hate about you, When Harry Met Sally.

Foods - Mexican, peel & eat shrimp, mashed potatoes

Fetishes - I like to be spanked & having my hair pulled.

I can't really say I went from a single female active in the lifestyle to a couple. I wouldn't really consider myself as active when I was single. I tried it initially after my divorce and found I just really didn't care for the way Unicorns get treated for the most part. It's easy as a single female to get sex and I found it much simpler to get it outside of the lifestyle than in. Then I ended up in a relationship for a couple of years where he was not remotely interested in the lifestyle but tolerated my connection to it. So really once Pet and I started getting into things together it really was more like a new couple starting from scratch (I just happen to have a lot more experience).

I enjoy seeing him being pleasured - whether I'm doing it, he's doing it to himself or someone else is doing it. I love watching the look on his face and knowing that he's excited and hearing him when he really gets into it. That just turns me on.
