To be honest, the HPDE Group 1 & 2 in NASA is MUCH safer than having a bit of 'fun' on the road. They teach you SO much about how to drive in that 'fun' zone without nearly as much risk. Also, as you go around a track you learn the pavement and all it's little nuances. You can do this on a road you travel a lot... but things can change when you're not there (debris, potholes, etc.)

I started going for the education as well as the fun.

Goodness, that's a good question. I really had no idea until you asked this and I went and counted...most of them, not all of them...We have over 1000 paperbacks and over 800 hardbacks...I say over those numbers because I got tired of counting.

Stonehenge ( I've wanted to walk among those stones since I was a child)...as well as visit Ireland and Scotland. I'd also like to go to Egypt to see the great Pyramid of Giza.

That's a hard one for me to answer since you won't let me use my kids or Ted so, I'll have to think on that and get back to you.

Ted said the thing he is most proud of (not including the kids and me) is that he is a polymath.

Okay...I've given it a bit of thought...I'm proud of being able to fix things around the house by myself...plumbing problems, lawn mower problems, car problems...you name it and I can probably fix it...about the only thing I'm not comfortable doing is electrical stuff, for that I wait until Ted can handle it. I think at times he's scared to come home because he never knows what I've done around here,

I know what you mean. We know a good many of the regulars, but there are many I've never met that I know by their interests and writing. We tend to attract an eclectic crowd here.
