BTW, we vacationed down your way last year just down the road from Destin. The beaches are beautiful!

It's a 1950 International Pick-up. I'll let him tell you all about it. All I can tell you is the amount of money that has been spent on it ...well, I could tell you a lot about it as there are times I'm made to sit on a bucket while Ted and our son works on it...it's the price I have to pay to be allowed to drive it (once it gets rolling)...I did help primer the bed of it so I'm hoping that gets me out of bucket sitting for a while (okay, I have a lawn chair I sit in, but bucket sounds much more pathetic don't you think? )...around here it's "He who helps, gets to drive",

Next time you venture down this way, send us a note, if we're around we'll meet for dinner some where...you were very close to us last time.

She has no idea how much money me and the boy have saved her. It's a 1950 International setting on a 1990 Dakota frame, everything modern and power but stealthed in that setting in it it looks original. About all we lack finishing up is the home made electronic fuel injection.

Teresa and Ted,

Gator and I did the taking "US" back thing, too. Best thing we did for our marriage. We value "our" time as well. That, at times, has been our biggest stumbling block in our poly relationship. We want the time with our other spouses but have had to fight the urge to be selfish and not want to give up our time together. We've always spent as much time as possible with each other and had to be creative at times to do so since Gator works shift work. And the shift work and not sleeping together all the time makes me understand the way you reconnect. I simply love that myself.

I enjoy LKH as well. Both Anita and Merry. I'm not in the habit of reading her blog and will have to check that out. Thanks for the tip. Teresa, we've discussed a little our tendency to read some of the same things but, I'm wondering now about Ted.

What do you like to read? Do you prefer movies like Gator? What genre in either catches your fancy?

Oh, and as a grandmother of two myself, they can't get too spolied. Can they?

I like to read hard sci-fi. With that said I will read almost anything if it is around. I like Merry as well.

You know we have played with 6 single males so far. Now we just play with one mainly but the occurrences are far between. He has become a distant close friend. He would be allowed to spend the night anytime if in town. Although we dont actually sleep together. He could still spend the night. Shower, shave, eat, anything like that.

Do you have a male friend, that you would call close in your MFM interests ?

Yes we do Not in a poly-type of relationship way (not that we're against poly relationships, we've just never met anyone that we could meld into one with) but in one of those really, really good fuck buddy type of relationships.

We don't get to see a lot of him as he too travels a lot and finding a time that he and Ted are both in town is sometimes difficult. But, we've been playing with him for over seven years now on a fairly regular basis.

His sexual likes and dislikes and our's match very well together and we are more comfortable with him than anyone else we've ever played with (of course after seven years I suppose that would make sense ).

He happens to be in town this weekend and Ted will be home so...he and I have made tentative plans for us all to get together. (Oh, sorry dear, forgot to mention that to you ). He's the type of man that understands we have a life and that it comes first...we also understand that he too has a life.

It's great having someone you can pick up the phone and say "Hey, we're horny tonight, whatya doing?" and have them reply "Having sex with you, what time will you be here?"

Gator and I have had a special single male friend like you talk about. MFM were our preference at one time. Well, we still enjoy that a lot. We just have one partner right now. My other husband. As much as I liked MFM with friends, can you imagine having that with two men you love?

Teresa,

You said you have a WRX as a 'toy' ... do you go to the track at all? If so, I presume road courses... I enjoy taking my Crossfire SRT6 to the track from time to time also... LOTS of fun.

Ted,

You mentioned you like to read Sci-Fi... any particular authors that are your 'favorites'? Some of mine are Allen Dean Foster, Anne McCaffrey, Isaac Isomov, Larry Niven and David Drake to name a few...

Your truck sounds like a project a neighbor and I have been slowly working on the last few years... 1959 Morris Minor with a 2002 Camaro Drive line...

He obviously missed this question last night, so I'll answer for him.

He rarely listens to music while driving. He has an XM Radio and will listen to the Comedy channel or a Braves game if they're playing. He also will listen to audio books that he's downloaded and plays through his GPS or pop in one that he has on CD or tape.

Oh goodness no, I wouldn't take the chance of hurting my baby , I go buy groceries on it...I get there really fast and home really fast

Now, there are a couple of roads not far from our house that have some really nice curves in them...you just can't help down shifting, letting the turbo boost kick in and WOW, on rails zooming around them. ( Don't tell Ted I do that. I lecture him and the boy when they take it out not to be hot-rodding my car, even though I'm sure they do). It's a SWEET ride and the first vehicle I've had in over 20 years that wasn't a rug-rat hauler...I'm a little protective over it. It's not the most practical thing to have but damn is it FUN and as long as you stay off the turbo boost (which I admit, is really hard to do ), it's not too bad on gas.
