This week's Member of the Week is sweet_tna. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week. Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Sunday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosey, intimate, personal question you can think of. Try to ask only one question (or group of questions) per post, to make it easier for the interviewee to answer the questions, and also to allow for others to ask their questions. Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to. Also, please keep in mind that any answers you post are viewable to complete strangers. There is some risk in that. Again, all questions are optional. We'll start each interview with a few overview questions to get things started: Gender (if not a couple): If a couple, which one primarily posts: Age(s): Birthday(s): Location: Relationship status: Swinging for how long?: Prefer to swing with: Biggest Pet Peeve: Brief Intro: Picture (if you feel comfortable sharing one): Website (your own or one of your favorites): |

Gender (if not a couple): We're a couple, though Sweet_tna is the better half. Mr. Sweet posts under his own login. ![]() If a couple, which one primarily posts: Ya'll don't really need to ask that, do ya'? (it's me) ![]() Age(s): almost 35--both of us Birthday(s): Mine is 5/14 and Mr. Sweet's is 6/18 Location: Pocono Mountains, PA Relationship status: We're married and just celebrated our 12th anniversary. Swinging for how long?: Eight whole . . . months! Prefer to swing with: Humans or purple monkeys! Oh, you meant what types of humans? So far, we've only played with couples. One of these days we might "take a crack" at a single guy/gal. Biggest Pet Peeve: Stupid people really piss me off. But Mr. Sweet says pompous or stuck-up pleople. Brief Intro: You know what's funny? In thinking about this interview, it dawned on me that we have the external link to our Swing Lifestyle profile on here, which tells our names, but we never use 'em. So for those that haven't clicked on that link yet, I'm Jen and Mr. Sweet is Chris. (Hi ya'll!) As you might've guessed from my posts, I'm a Southern gal (raised in North Carolina), which is part of the inspiration for our login. I love Sweet tea, and well, you can guess what Chris likes about me. Chris was born near Pittsburgh (hence his devotion to the STEELERS--the man bleeds black & gold), but raised here in the Poconos. We met in college (down in my neck of the woods), and have been together ever since. I could go on for ages, but Chris says I need to give ya'll something to ask us about . . . Picture: Sorry, you'll have to make do with my avatar. Website (your own or one of your favorites): I hang out on a parenting message board, which is private, and that's about it. Between that, SB, and YIM, I don't have time for anything else! Chris, of course, frequents ESPN.com, and CBSSportsline.com (his homepage is the STEELERS webpage). Take heed, all ye who dare to enter here: I WILL answer any question asked . . . so be careful what you wish for! So BRING IT ON! ~ Jen =) and Chris |

By the time some good friends of ours told us they had begun swinging, the idea was VERY intriguing to me. I was always such a goody-two shoes growing up, and this was a chance to let my "wild side" out. Chris was more than happy to help me. =)

My first notable bi experience was a few months ago. It was at our favorite meet & greet. I did a jello shot off another gal's breast. Later that evening, we ended up in what could only be classified as an orgy--during which, I kissed a couple gals and received oral from them. What was it like? Exciting as hell, but a little scary, too. I was still a bit flummoxed over the idea of ME finding other women sexually attractive. Jen =)

Is there a story, Jen, to go with the tattoo? Did you just follow an impulse one day to walk into a tattoo place? Did you have it on your 18th birthday? Am I allowed more than one question? If so, does Chris sport one or more tattoos? ~Michael |

Yes, there is a story to go with the butterfly. I was 22 when I got my first tattoo, and I was "sure" I wanted a butterfly. But while looking through the books to find the design I wanted, I came across another design that caught my eye. It was Winnie the Pooh. Since I was about to marry a Christopher Robert (close enough), I went for it. So I have Pooh Bear hanging from a balloon on my belly. And yes, I'm now painfully aware of the poor choice of location. ![]() Fast forward about eight years. A friend of mine was preparing to open a tattoo shop, and I decided I was finally ready to get that butterfly I'd always wanted. Only now, the imagery of the butterfly was more significant to me. I'd gained a LOT of self confidence and let go of a lot of baggage from the past. Anyhoo, his printer wasn't working, and all but one of his art books were out on loan to someone else. While waiting for his wife to come back from a relative's house (so she could print out the design I'd sent to him), I spotted one of those wooden kids' puzzles lying in a corner. One of the pieces just happened to be a butterfly--almost the same exact one I wanted on my back, only about three times larger. My friend convinced me the detail would look so much better if he did it full size, so I went for it. I'm contemplating another, but probably won't until Chris gets his first (which answers that question, huh?). Jen =)

What kinds of hobbies do each of you have outside of swinging? Do you have some you share?

(Ahem)I used to be really into scrapbooking, but that kinda' fell by the wayside after I spent 6 months and untold amounts of money to make a 10th anniversary album for Chris. After that, catching up on the kids' albums just seemed like . . . work. And right about the time I had the time/energy/desire to roll up my sleeves and give it another go, I discovered this board and Yahoo Instant Messenger. Oh well, the kids don't need to know what they looked like after age 5! ![]() I DO take a lot of pictures, though. I'm not the greatest photographer, but once in awhile I get lucky and get a really good shot. And before anyone asks, I much prefer to remain BEHIND the camera (though I will make good on my promise to post that pic of me in the SB shirt when it arrives). Both of us are avid readers, we love movies (especially comedies), and playing card/board games. And I love to throw parties. Besides the kids' birthdays, we typically host three parties a year: a summer party (which always seems to coincide with Chris's birthday); a Halloween party; and a kickass Superbowl Bash. The tee shirts we give away there have become quite the collector's item. We haven't tried hosting any lifestyle-related parties yet, though. However, I'm working with a fellow board member on hosting a Pocono Meet Up this summer (insert Shameless Plug here!). I'll let Chris tell ya'll about his non-swingin' related hobbies himself.
