This week's Member of the Week is GatorVol64. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Tuesday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosey, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Swinging for how long?: Each couple started swinging about 2 1/2 years ago and we met one year ago. We aren't swinging now.

Biggest Pet Peeve: Gator-rudeness, Vol-dishonesty, Tech-slurping foods & rudeness, Kitten-the horn honker and rudeness
Brief Intro: We are a quad in a poly relationship. We met each other while swinging and things progressed from there. Gator and Vol weren't looking for this and Tech and Kitten were looking for "friends with benifits" more or less. But didn't think they would find everything they wanted in one couple. We are not living together at this time. We actually live about 2 hours apart. It's funny...Gator and Kitten are quite a bit alike and so are Tech and Vol. Gator and Tech have things in common but the two that are the least alike are Kitten and Vol. Which doesn't mean they don't love each other. Gator and Kitten are the most flirtatious of us all. They carry their hearts on their sleeves...Vol and Tech do not.

I just wanted to say that we'll answer question sometimes all in one post and sometimes separately. Gator and Vol will answer under GatorVol64 while Tech and Kitten will answer under SevenTech.

So once you found your way into a poly situation you all decided to give up swinging and go that direction only?

Are there any talks of one couple or the other moving closer?

Gator and I are more open with swinging again than Tech and Kitten. I feel it is because we went into swinging originally for different reasons. We aren't doing so now, true, and more than likely we won't. It's just like the relationship Gator and I started with. If one of us, this time any of the four, doesn't want to then none of us will. It isn't something I think we'd look at now even if we all were willing. The relationship itself is enough work right now.

Yes, we've talked about one or both couples moving. Closer would definitely be better than this. Living together has been talked about too.

We make sure we see each other, by meeting halfway, at least once a week even if it's just for a few hours. Dinner and movies...things like that.

I would say for right now the answer would be yes but not ruling out anything in the future. one thing we have all learned is to never say never.

yes, but this is a little ways off. I (Tech) have told my mother and my sister about the relationship. My parents are divorced so my dad does not know yet. two of our three sons know about Gator and Vol. Our oldest is in the Air Force and stationed in England right now. Matter of fact he is coming home on leave later tonight. It will be the first time in two years we have seen him, and we plan on telling him about Gator and Vol and having them meet him.

Like Vol said, we try to meet atleast once a week even if it's just a few hours. We get to spend atleast one weekend together and try to squeeze in any other time that we can.

Regarding "things like that"...

Since you all get together at least once a week, how often do you all have sex?

As often as possible. Just like with each individual couple. No, it's true that we can't every time we see each other. A few hours is all that we can sqeeze in some weeks. We're thankful to get those times. Our preference is to spend time at one another's houses. Gator works shift work so that may mean it's during the middle of the week or on the weekend. We've had to drive two hours to work the next morning before. Those are the times sex is definitely on the menu.

The sex is just as important as before. The relationship part is more than it was. Sex is actually a big thing to all four of us. Is it a it part of the reason we are together? No more than it is part of why Gator and I are together.

Did all four of you arrive at the realization at the same time that this was more than "just sex"? Or were some of you falling for each other before the others did? How did all of that work out?

When you four are together, is it mainly straight swap MF MF? Separate play or all together?

The kids who were told about your relationship: how did they respond? Do they understand, or is understanding this a process for them to work though?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this so I may not give the answer you wanted.

We are taking the relationship as far as possible. We'd really like to live together at some point. It just isn't a feasible option for us right now. We've called each other boyfriend and girlfriend up until recently but none of us find this really acceptable. It doesn't imply the permanence we feel. We've looked for names that do but haven't found any that we all like. We are going to have to go with wife and husband we think. We just would have liked to have found a title that was different than that and didn't signify a...place so to speak. Like primary and secondary. We are a group, yes, but a title that conveyed as deep a relationship as wive/husband but was individual enough to make it understood who is who. I mean, when someone calls for Sweetheart, can you imagine how many turn to look?

This will be one of those questions that it will be easier to answer separately.

We (Gator and Vol) met in high school. We're what most refer to as high school sweethearts. I moved to this area for my senior year. We'd seen each other and I knew who he was but that's about it. He had a girlfriend who dumped him at the Valentine Dance our senior year. And truthfully, I felt a bit sorry for him and asked him to dance. (I was there alone.) He refused the first few times but finally gave in with a "what the hell" attitude because he said I was cute. We danced until it was time for me to go home. The next day he called and asked me out. I went that night for dinner and the movies. That was on February the 13th. It'll be 26 years in less than a week since our first date. By the time we graduated, three months later, we were engaged. We got married 2 years later.

Not on our minds at all. I think it's something that resembled what Tech and Kitten were looking for. They just didn't expect to get all they wanted from one couple.

Since I (Vol) am the one typing this...the answer is Peyton Manning of course. Little brother didn't do too bad Sunday either.

To tell the truth my wife Kitten pointed out the fact that I loved Vol long before i would admit it. Vol and I both knew about the same time that Gator and Kitten had a crush on each other so to speak. But that is the diference in the four of us. Vol and I are more stand offish of people, personality wise we like to keep people at arms length. Gator and kitten are more of the "people person" type and pretty much fell for each other almost instantly. Vol and I had to work at it just a little more. It hasn't always been easy but it is worth it.

when we are all four together yes it is straight swap. as far as separate or all together i guess that depends on the mood. here recently it has been more separate.

as far as our kids go, they were pretty understanding. our youngest graduates this year and has already started telling Gator and Vol what he wants as a graduation gift. Our middle son is understanding about the relationship as well. As he says "I am glad that you and mom have found somebody to spend time with and like to be around as much as Gator and Vol. They are good people and I like them alot".

Gator and Vols youngest is not as understanding and we have had problems with him accepting the relationship. However I can't really hold that against him or anything like that. Not every adult is as understanding of this relationship as others.
