I saw that the four of you met via swinging. Did you meet through personal ads, this board, at a club? The first time you met was it a date, or something else? Please tell us about your first date (or meeting) as a foursome.

In hindsight, was there something that really stood out as very different/special about that date (or first meet)? Or was it a pretty typical first date, and you didn't know there was anything special about it until later?

Are you celebrating Valentine's Day as a foursome?

This next one is probably the most common question, but it's the one that stands out the most in my mind because it's how I think....

Don't you just get tired? I mean, emotionally/mentally, love relationships do take a lot of time and effort. I adore my husband, but to have two of him all the time....Hmmmm, I just don't think so! Kidding aside, does it get stressful or tiresome to manage multiple relationships? Do you have time to just get away as individuals if you get to feeling too entangled?

I have really enjoyed reading about your relationship. Great questions everyone!

Since you met only a year and a half after starting swinging, don't you feel really lucky to have met each other?

We've found it very difficult to meet a couple where we both feel compatible.

It really depends on the situation but we all try to talk our problems out either in a group setting or with the spouse. There are times where Kitten just wants to talk to Gator and there are times where Tech and Gator talk about some things and times where Vol and Tech talk. It really just depends on the situation.

Sorry to be so late in answering. It was one of the times we fit in a couple of hours together.

No, we haven't read either of those. I'll have to check then out. Thanks.

Seriously. I haven't had to "side" with either of them. We usually talk about things. You wouldn't believe how much we TALK. Just because Vol is my wife doesn't mean she is always right.

Yes, #1 is fun but #2 is sometimes needed because I am a bit hard-headed (according to the rest of them).

Hmmm, well, there isn't a lot of need to "dish" on our husbands. We both are intelligent women and can see the same flaws the other does. But we do sometimes discuss situations the same way other girlfriends do. It helps because the two of us are so different that we can see things from another perspective. Then there are always the times you just have to agree that men are just bad.

Tybee, we met through personal ads with SLS. I guess you could say it was a date. We met for dinner and immediately liked each other. We stayed hours talking in the restaurant. So long that I gave the waitress a tip for the next people she could have waited on. We then talked a couple of hours more outside. In the cold! Which leads to why I think it was special. Gator and I had never talked with anyone like that. We just clicked...more than clicked I suppose. We had just met and hated leaving the others.

Yes, we'll be celebrating Valentine's Day as a foursome. We were just talking about this tonight.

I have to be honest and tell you that sometimes I do get tired (I can't answer for the others). It is a lot to invest emotionally and mentally. That has been a bit of a problem for me. More so than the others. So, yes, they give me the time to myself that I need. I've always needed that though. Even when it was just Gator and I. That's just my personality.

Well, yes. We feel lucky to have met them at any time but, so soon, that was a shock. Especially when we weren't looking for something like this at all.

Are you looking for a couple to have a poly relationship with?

Yes very lucky. The first night we met we ate dinner then basically were the last ones to leave the building. We then stood outside and just talked for hours. It was like seeing an old friend that you had not seen in years to tell the truth.

I think that it is the differences between us all that i like the most. I don't want Kitten to be Vol and Kitten doesn't want me to be Gator and vice versa. But we all also have alot of things in common. It is hard to find a couple that you are compatible with. It is sometimes hard enough when it is just you and your spouse in a relationship. the best advice I can give you is not to look, it will happen on it's own when it's ready to happen. I can say that Kitten and I had almost given up looking for that "one" couple when we met Gator and Vol.

Valentines Day as a foursome? yes we are, matter of fact I picked out Vols Valentines gift tonight.

do i ever get tired? that is a good question really. Of the four of us I will say that Vol needs the most time alone. Myself, I really don't mind. I like good conversation and I also like to know what makes a person tick. Kitten says I took to many Psych classes in college but I really do like to know about a person I find interesting. I love both of the women in my life very much and enjoy spending time with both of them.

Ok...some questions...

Everyone's favorite color?

Any readers in the bunch? If so, favorite book/author?

Favorite movies?

Silk, satin or cotton sheets?

We haven't ruled it out. Mostly looking for one couple where all 4 are attracted.

I understand. Then you'd agree that we are lucky indeed. BTW, i guess it's obvious I'm originally from around your area.
