This week's Member of the Week is Swingercast. We are glad to have them in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Tuesday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosey, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice.

Brief Intro: We have been best friends and lovers for almost two decades. We have been swinging for about 5 years. We are soft swap. We have a podcast that we share our intimate details regarding our relationship and swinging experiences. Thanks for having us. Hope we can answer all your questions.

Picture (if you feel comfortable sharing one): For over a year since we have been doing the podcast we have not released any pics for confidentiality reasons. We are releasing these for the first time and this is a pretty bold step for us. Two were taken a couple of nights ago and one was taken Christmas Eve Eve.

One of the things I found most interesting about your podcast is that you are soft swing but except for the times when you actually say it, you would never know it. Even listening to the descriptions of your encounters it never stands out that you don't do full swap.

I appreciate your bold move with showing your pictures. I'm a photographer...mostly sports I'll admit but, I LOVE black and white work. Infrared being my very favorite. I even have my own black and white dark room. That being said, I wanted you to know that I enjoyed the lighting in your photos and I wanted to ask if (I'll assume John) photography is something you do and enjoy a lot?

Hi this is Allie.
Well, I would never say never but I honestly do not see ourselves extending to full swap in the foreseeable future. We are really comfortable with the way we play and have REALLY enjoyed all our experiences. We didn't get into this in the first place with plans in the back of our minds that we were going to ease into full swap, we had more of the mindset that we were going on a fun, erotic adventure we could share together. After these 5 plus years and all the soft swap experiences we have had, especially over the last year, it is STILL a new, fun, hot adventure for us every time. I don't really see us changing unless it did start feeling routine or boring but we haven't seen any signs of that yet. Don't want to mess with a good thing.

You said that after you hear the descriptions of our encounters it doesn't stand out that we don't full swing, well, it doesn't FEEL that way to us either when we are playing with other couples(who are mostly full swap). It's hot, erotic, and very sensual to us. We never feel like we are missing out on anything by not full swapping...there are many,many ways for everyone to orgasms multiple times within our soft swap boundaries. It is just our one and only rule that gives us that soft swap label but from our experiences, we have encountered some full swap couples that have more rules than we do. It doesn't matter because we all respect each other and seem to find many ways to have enjoyable sex within everyone's comfort zones.

At this time in our lives, we have found that our comfortable niche in the swinger world is going to clubs and resorts. It fits our personalities and schedules better than online dating or playing with regular couples. However, if we were to full swap for the first time, it wouldn't be on one of our spontaneous adventures to a club. It would be more comfortable for us to know that first full swap couple more than the club setting would allow. But, since we do not have the time, energy or desire to form the relationships with regular play couples in our area ,outside the club setting, it does tend to cut down on the likelihood of this soft swap couple extending to full swap in the near future.

We enjoy the way we play, it fits our lifestyle and has enhanced our relationship immensely. Full swap is just not on the top of our 'Swinger to do list' at this crazy busy time of our lives... but, we will never rule it out.

You made my day! Thanks for the compliments on my photos of Allie. About a year ago I was going to buy a new camera and a friend of mine who is a professional photographer suggested that I buy a used Nikon D1X. I headed over to ebay and found a good deal. I've been snapping pics ever since but only recently convinced Allie that I had the skill to shoot her naked. Your remarks may encourage her to let me snap some more, so MUCH THANKS!

I wish I could show my friend the nudes but it would give him a heart attack. Showing them to all of you is a big thrill.

In fact, I've been having so much fun shooting pics that I wanted to add a section to our web site where we would offer photography sessions to couples. No hanky-panky just good erotic photos that people could use for their profiles or just for fun.

Well, until your postive remarks, Allie had shot that idea down but now HOPE IS ALIVE. I'm not looking to make a living doing it but I thought it would be a fun service to offer and be another hobby that Allie and I could do together.

I make my living working with multimedia. Still photography is very new to me so I just wanted to say "thanks" again for the encouragement.

We've been going to on-premise clubs for about 6 years and doing the podcast for one year. A typical night for us at a club would always include a good time dancing and sometimes playing with other couples but was/is always followed by great sex back at our home or hotel with each other. We get turned on telling each other about our sexy experiences. When I learned of podcasting I suggested to Allie that other people might enjoy hearing our experiences. It turned out that I'm not the only one who enjoys hearing her!

We don't claim to be experts and we acknowledge that there are many parts of the lifestyle that we don't have experience with but it was our hope that new and experienced swingers would enjoy hearing about swinging from an honest and real perspective.

I hope I never forget what it was like to be new. We don't try to push people into this lifestyle but if someone is interested enough to download our podcast it is our hope that they will learn something positive about swingers.

In dealing with more experienced swingers I have found them to be a very respectful group of people. In regards to our podcast, almost too respectful. What I mean by that is if a swinger has a good club, for example, it is OKAY to call our show and announce it:

"Hi this Marilyn from Club Breathless in New Orleans my question is ________________." If you have a good club or blog or message board (cough, er, hint, hint) we want to help you promote it.

We never mention the names of the clubs that we go to unless we get the owner's permission. I think a lot of our listeners must think we have achieved celebrity status at some of the clubs but that is far from the truth. The truth is podcasting is so new that when we try and explain what we do, most of them scratch their heads and smile. Thank God for Julie! Her web savvy has always made her an early adapter of new technology.

Sorry if this was too long. But asking a podcaster to talk about himself is a dangerous thing.

This is Allie. I was most nervous about the favourite questions...way more than any sex question. The reason is that I never have been able to give just quick short answers for my favourite anything because my interests are pretty broad and always changing.

I'm going to answer the rainy afternoon one first, and come back after I run some errands and attempt to answer the rest.

Rainy Afternoon...First off, living in So. California we do not get much rain and when we do, it is never the loud, dark, hard rainstorms that I rememeber from my past growing up in the South, I kinda miss those type of rainstorms. I tend to make the best of a rainy day when we do get them. First off, since we don't get them regularly, people here do NOT know or remember how to drive when it rains, so, I go out of my way to avoid the highways on a rainy day!

I find the sound of rain most relaxing and enjoy getting cozy at home with the kids and John, making a big pot of soup, keeping the tv off, so we can enjoy the sounds, and playing board games or doing quiet creative or crafty activities with the family. If the kids are at school, I love staying in bed with John as long as we possibly can !

My favorite rainy afternoon that I shared with my children this summer was a more active fun one. We had planned a picnic in the park that my kids were really looking forward to, we had already packed the picnic the night before and woke up to unexpected rain. My kids were bummed. I decided to make the best of it and not change our picnic plans. They looked at me like I was totally insane when I told them, "Come on ,lets go to our picnic!" I drove to a park down the street and we ate our picnic lunch underneath the cement picnic table. Afterwards, we played in the rain on the swings, splashed in puddles doing silly 'Singing in the Rain' tap dances and laughed everytime someone drove by and gave us strange looks! We came home took warm baths and got cozy and played a long game of Monopoly. That was my ALL TIME favorite rainy afternoon and my kid's favorite too!! The only thing that would have made it better was if John could have joined us...he had to work.

Ok. Allie back. Favorite questions continued:

Food: My favorites change frequently in this arena. I LOVE different ethnic foods, and seek out a variety of foods from around the world in my daily life. My food favorites vary greatly from exotic spices to down home country cooking to seasonal favorites.

Seasonally speaking, I'm just getting out of my pumpkin flavored phase which usually last most of Nov. and Dec. where I overload myself on pumkin breads,lattes,icecream, soups etc. Also during the holidays I indulge on "comfort foods" that remind me of the past like pecan pie, black-eyed peas and greens,home made cookies and GUMBO loaded with lots of fresh fish,shrimp,spicy sausage and okra. Turkey, specifcally, fried cajun spiced turkey, is no longer one of my favorites after this past Thanksgiving's fire in our backyard! I'm actually burnt out on all the my holiday favs and can easily wait for next year.

This month I have been craving Indian food and Thai food...I LOVE the curries! We eat out a lot do to our schedules but it is not so bad because we have a large variety of ethnic and different regional restaurants to choose from in our area. During the cooler months, when I do cook, it is most always soup. I don't follow a recipe and enjoy throwing in whatever I can find, mixing in all types of veggies and spices that normally wouldn't go together. My kids love it and often help me come up with some inventive soups but John jokingly calls it my 'Goop". He likes it most of the time and more often if he doesn't see me preparing it. John is a great cook and likes to follow recipes and I think it drives him a little crazy to see me NOT at all following one.

During the warmer months(the majority of time here) I love all vegetables and fruits and will buy lots of whatever is in season. Most of the veggies are lightly steamed or eaten fresh in salads. John, is the Grill Master and grills out a lot. He is great with the spices and makes incredible marinades too! We rarely turn the oven on in the summertime.

I probably should own stock in a place called Jamba Juice because I have spent way too much money there. Instead, I found out what kind of blender they use and now make my own fruit smoothies, sorbets, veggi concoctions. The kids and I have lots of fun inventing our fruit and yogurt delites, except for the one time I didn't have the lid on tight enough and our blueberry,rasberry slushy stained the ceiling...it's still there!

Ok. Enough about food! I'm hungry now and going out for some Curry! I'll get to the rest as soon as I'm back. Sorry for the long post.

Hi, Allie here again. The Chicken Tikki Masala (sp?)hit the spot. My favorites continued.

My Favorite TV Show:
I don't have a current favorite TV show. John and I have not watched much TV at all this past year. We spend the majority of our free time in the evenings working on our podcast, answering emails, listening to other podcasts and of course, sex! We no longer have any movie channels but when we did, HBO, was my favorite channel. I would watch it on Sun night when they would show their original programming and documentaries. I loved watching Six Feet Under, Aly G Show, Real Sex, Sopranos, Sex in the City, Deadwood, most all of the comedian specials and ALL of the HBO documentaries. Before we got the movie channels turned off I was also into Weeds on Showtime. We still have basic cable and I flip around to Comedy Channel, Bravo, Discovery, PBS, TV Land, History channel when the TV is on which isn't very often. I do have to admit that I am a recovering CSpan addict. I am much better with turning that off too now but still need an occasional fix.

Favorite Movies:
We don't watch much tv but watch a lot of movies and there are so many genres I enjoy and I have sooo many favorites in each genre that I can not even begin to answer this one. I like children's movies, animations, comedies, dramas, independent films, horror, old classics, to name a few. Probably my least fav genre is Sci-Fi but as I am writing this I can think of several older Sci-fi movies that are on my favorites list too. We have quite a large library of movies we have collected by chance, mainly because we have problems returning them on time and have found that we save $ by buying the previously viewed ones. We mostly see G and PG movies we can watch with the kids when we go out to the movies. John and I consider it almost as serious as cheating if one of us sees a movie without each other that we both wanted to see. I've never been a huge fan of porn films, the bad acting and fake screaming orgasms usually takes me right out of sexy mood. I MUCH prefer the real action in a swingers club!

As far as family goes, none of John's family know and only my brother knows from my family. He had moved to our area Jan last year and stayed with us until he got set up in his own place. He was totally cool with it and even offered to babysit so we could go out more.

My mother would not want to ever know. She babysat when we went to Desire. I thought she was going to ask me about the hotel since she and her husband travel and had never been to Cancun. I was actually prepared to tell her the name even though I knew her husband would look it up on the internet and then we would be "outed". She did ask and I said "Oh, I don't think you and Jack would be comfortable there, you have to be nude on the beach, I think." She never asked any more and didn't even ask the name...she changed the subject real quick. Knowing that we are swingers would probably be too much for her and out of respect, I keep that info from her.

My father is a different story. He believed we were swingers about four years before we even thought about it. John had written a screenplay with a friend and there was a couple of swingers in it. After my dad read it, he made some comment and kinda winked indicating he knew we were swingers. We didn't say anything at the time and just blew it off. It wouldn't be a big deal to him anyway as long as he knows we are happy. He is gay and is very active on the internet and has an active sex life of his own. I wouldn't tell him about the podcast and don't think he will ever stumble upon it. If he did, no big deal, he already thought we were swingers, just something I don't feel the need to share with him.

Friends- Only a handful of our closest, long time friends know that we are swingers and we told them this year while doing the podcast. Not sure if we would have told them if we weren't doing the podcast unless they asked. These friends are sprinkled around the country and have known us for many years(most from college) and were not at all surprised. Most of them do say it is too weird for them to listen to the podcast.

Our friends we see in our day life at work, in the community/neighborhood, at the coffee shop, at the kid's school, at little league etc. have NO IDEA that we are swingers. I really want to keep it that way. Our social life with these friends has cut down drastically and partly due to the fact we always tend to be going on many business trips or to "parties" that they are not invited to. If any of these friends find out it won't be from us unless they come out and ask or we run into them at a swingers club.

Any Pressures to Full Swap? That is an easy one, NO. We have never been pressured to full swap. We most often end up playing with full swap couples but have never felt uncomfortable or even asked to full swap. Now, we are pretty upfront, confident and positive when we set up the play and instead of saying "These are our rules" I prefer to say "This is the way we play...wanna play with us? " Only once did we get a hesitation related to our soft swap boundaries and he said, let me talk with my wife. It turned out that he was completely into playing with us soft swap but it was her fantasy or preference to be fucked by other men while he watched...she was not into women and not really into giving bjs. We ended up playing with him in a soft swap threesome and she was laying next to us getting fucked by two other guys. That is the only time I can think of that one of the members of a couple was not into playing soft swap but it all worked out and we had a good time. I'm sure John would have had a better time if she was into BJ's but that wasn't in the cards that night. I would have to say the closest we came to full swap was with a soft swap couple... when she introduced me to a strap on! Allie
