This week's Member of the Week is SexyShelby. We are glad to have her in the spotlight this week.

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Tuesday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Be sure to stop in and get to know them better by asking them every nosey, intimate, personal question you can think of.

Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

If a couple, which one primarily posts: My boyfriend is a member of the board, he's actually the one who found it, but he never comes on anymore. He's not addicted like me! I might be able to get him to take a peek this week though.

Location: Dubai, UAE (but I'm Canadian!)

Relationship status: Attached. We've been together 4 years.

Swinging for how long?: Haven't had the opportunity to swing yet since we live on different continents. But we're ready, as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

Prefer to swing with: Cute couples.

Biggest Pet Peeve: There are a few...Since it's relevant to the board, I'll say this: people that post huge long posts without breaks for paragraphs.

Brief Intro: I hate writing these brief into things. Read my posts, ask questions...that's how you'll get to know me.

Picture (if you feel comfortable sharing one): Hmmm...We were supposed to take pics while I was visiting the boyfriend last month. But we were too busy enjoying our vacation that we didnt end up taking any. So, no pictures yet.

Website (your own or one of your favorites): One of my favourites...CNN, but only since I can get on it at work and not get in trouble. I actually do have two of my own websites. One I created as a way for our extended family to keep in touch and another that I created for school projects. But I'd rather not share them.

I feel a slight affinity to you as we've both posted at similair times on a few threads recently. Daft I know But I'm new I hope my questions are ok.

I also strongly agree, paragraphs need to be used.

Through the intervention of a divine power (e.g., your favorite deity, Oprah, etc.) you are given the opportunity to have a meal with three people you have never met before. You will have breakfast with the first, lunch with the second, and dinner with the third, at the venue(s) of your choice. You can name a particular restaurant, a general type of eating place, or have a picnic, or a meal at your place. Whatever. The venue can be different for each meal. You must choose the menu for both of you. You can choose any real person – alive or dead (and if they are officially dead, or like Elvis or Jim Morrison, maybe dead, for the purposes of discussion here they will magically be alive to have a meal and discussion with you) – or character from fiction, legend, or rumor.

So, with those boundaries, who would you pick for each of the three meals? Where would you two eat? What is on the menu? And what would you discuss or what would be your main question for that person? And because this is the Swingers Board, if in this world it was magically feasible, would you want to have sex with that person?

~Being so far apart from your boyfriend how and when did you both decide to swing? (Even though you've not actually done it yet). When we first started dating, we had an "open" relationship that was a complete disaster. I honestly have no idea why I stayed with him in the beginning. But, he's always encouraged me to sleep with other guys if I wanted, and I did.
I started to read sex blogs (before I became obsessed with this board) and found some about swingers that I thought were so hot. I showed him one when he came to visit in November and he said "that would be so hot". We didn't really talk much about it at the time. But once he left, we found this board and it just seemed natural for us.

~What would be your ideal situation for your first encounter? He would prefer a couple, which I'm totally ok with that idea. As for the actual situation, I have no idea.

~What is your biggest turn on? Wow, that's a hard one. I'm not sure if I can pick one.

~Do you have many other hobbies besides posting here? I work way to much to have any other hobbies. But I do like shopping, lifting weights, playing sports, swimming (for fun, not laps). But unfortunately, I don't get to much of anything but sleep, post on here, and work.

~What would you say it the most important message you have learned from the posts? Communication. It's easy in theory, but I have a really hard time opening up to others.

~Which member do you hold in highest regard and why? Everyone. I have a lot of respect for all the members here. Everyone gives such great advice and has been so helpful and friendly. I really couldn't pick just one, or even ten.

~What makes you laugh? There are a lot of things that make me laugh, but my boyfriend does the best job at making me laugh. He always knows just what to say or do.

~And finally....how on earth do you manage without sex...seperate continents! It's definitely hard. No, not just hard, it's nearly impossible. I get vacation every 3 months, so it's three months of no sex and then 2 weeks of nothing but sex! It sucks; I don't recommend it to anyone.

What do you consider most sexy in another? Lately, I have this ass obsession.

What song makes you feel the most sexy? Silence by Sarah McLachlan, any remix. It just does it to me everytime!

What car do you consider the most sexy? I'm not a big fan of cars; I don't pay much attention to them. But, I do think the Audi TT is HOT!

Who is the most sexy person on your freebie list? As swingers, isn't everyone on our freebie list?

Well, Thrax...that's quite the question. I'm going to have to think about it get back to you on that one. So, in the meantime I'll answer LM's questions.

Speaking of challenges, what has been your biggest challenge in life? I have no idea. I think this is such a subjective question... Looking back, nothing seems like it was that challenging. I guess right now, my biggest challenge is finding the time to get back in shape and lose some weight.

Honestly, I do have goals. I have financial goals, which is why I'm working overseas right now. I have career goals, but before I can accomplish them, I need to go back to school and get my MBA. So that's my goal for now. Oh, and finally being able to live with my boyfriend, or at least in the same city.

Do you prefer jeans or skirts? Jeans. I'm freer (is that a word?) to move and just more comfortable. Plus, they make my ass look GOOD!

Are you into bling or do you keep it clean? Well...I do like my bling, but generally, I'm pretty simple. So I like a little bling, but not too much.

Well, I had a long, boring day at work to think about Thrax's questions. And I think I've finally narrowed it down.... Here goes.

Breakfast
I would take KhorneDeth to breakfast at the Waffle Shop. It was our favourite breakfast spot while I was in college and we went there just about every Sunday for the last year. He'd have an omlette with pancakes (and way too much syrup) and coffee with cream and splenda. Actually wait...that's what he'd like to have, but since I get to pick, and I hate the smell and aftertaste of coffee and especially syrup, he'd have a big bowl of fresh fruit and a cinnamon roll. I'd have the tuna melt sandwhich with cheese and tomatoes and a side of home fries, with some water and hot chocolate. And I'd ask him this, "So, when am I going to get that ring anyway?" After breakfast, we'd go home, take a nap and then have sex.

Lunch
I'd take my boss to lunch. He'd want to go to Johnny Rockets, he's always talking about it and I've never been there. But in stead we'd go to Salad Works or other similar type restuant. He'd have the chicken cesear (he's boring like that). I would have the biggest, fattest salad man has ever seen loaded with lettuce, cabbage, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, peppers, olives, carrots, baby corn, sunflower seeds, cheese, and to top it off either some fat free Catalina or some type of vinegrette. facelick And I'd ask him this, "How did you get to where you're at? I mean we all know that you're an idiot and completely incompitent, but there you are, top of it all. How'd you do it? What's the secret?" And no, definitely no sex.

Dinner
I'd have dinner with Sydney Bristow (from my favourite TV show Alias, although I dont get to watch it right now, so please dont spoil this last season for me, I dont want to know what happens). We'd grab a bite to eat (in between her missions) at an Arabic restuant. She'd have a chicken shwarma and taboule with a lemon & mint juice. I'd have a falafel and fatoush with a pomegranite juice. And I'd ask her this, "If you could have a meal with any three people, real or fictional, who would you chose, where would eat and what would you ask them?"


By the way...I just went back and reread Thrax's original post and realised that I was supposed to pick 3 people that I have never met. So, I will rethink the first two. But since I spent so much damn time thinking about these, I'll leave them up.

Well, since you were otherwise so thorough and entertaining I'll give you a pass on breakfast and lunch, sort of. I'd still like to know who -- of the people you've never met -- you would be interested in taking to those meals, but you can skip the details if you want to.

I understand your affinity for the Waffle Shop (really I do!), but I don't undertand the phrase "...and way too much syrup..." Didn't know there was such a thing.

There is definitely such a thing. For me, any amount of syrup is too much since I don't like it. But KhorneDeth...he agrees with you. He'll dump half a bottle on 3 pancakes, making sure that every square inch is completely covered by that sugary nastiness. He pours it on the plate, then on top of each indiviudal pancake too. It's gross. And after, his breath smells like syrup, I make him brush his teeth the second we get home. And there's definitely no kissing until he has.

So, yes, for me there is such a thing as too much syrup.

Alright, now that I've had time to rethink Thrax's orginial question, I've come up with this.

Breakfast
I would want to have breakfast with Sam Walton. He's a simple guy, and while I'd love to shock the hell out of him by taking him to breakfast at the Burj Al Arab, I don't think that would go over too well. So, I'd probably choose the Waffle Shop (I mean, why would you go anywhere else for breakfast ). He'd have a banana-nut waffle and I'd have a chocolate chip waffle. Yummy! facelick And I'd ask him if I can set up a Wal*Mart store in Dubai. We really need one. I have a pretty good business case for it too.

Lunch
I'd have lunch with Victoria. She'd have a sparkling water, even though I ordered her a fresh veggie plate. I'd have a caprese salad and most of the veggies she didn't eat. And I'd ask her this, "What is Victoria's Secret?"
