I'm an American. When I spent my two months in NZ and OZ I stayed almost exclusively in backpacker places (mostly like youth hostels, although I was definitely BEYOND the far side of youth). There were a lot of interesting discussions about different nationalities and ethnic groups and the accompanying stereotypes. One of the things I came away with is comparing Americans to Canadians is like Australians to Kiwis (New Zealanders). Americans and Ozzies tend to be brash, outspoken, etc., etc., in all the positive and negative aspects, and the Canucks and Kiwis tended to be more reserved. Yes, there are a lot of other differences between Seppos (Yanks) and Ozzies, but there was a lot in common, too. It will be interesting to hear valley's response to this. Although I'll consider it to be a personal, and not definitive answer, from having been to Hobart, it is MY assumption that Tassies are a little closer to the NZ/Canadian quieter model, overall, than to the BIG AUSSIE PERSONALITY. Valley, whaddaya think? Finally, if any of you consider touring OZ and NZ, let me know and I'll try to give you some advice. I traveled there in my nudist days (early 1990s), but non-swinger days, just to let you know. Both NZ and OZ are great places to visit and actually, unless you are wedded to FIRST CLASS accommodations, many -- but DEFINITELY not all -- of the backpacker places provide more than adequate lodging with the advantage of mingling with Ozzies and Enzers as well as people from around the world. Now I REALLY must get back there...

Thrax,I have found race means nothing. You have idiots in any language. We simply find it easy to be friendly with those who want to be friends with us. Advice to newbies? Talk it through, exactly what you both want...REPEAT...both want. You must be open and honest about your sexual desires right from the start, regardless of what it is.Each partner must know, understand and accept the others peccadillo. No I do not follow any one in particular as to their comments.I love the variety of views.I do not agree with some,as I do not agree with some forms of sex (eg..anal sex) but that doesnt make it wrong. If there is one member I have rapport with is Paphian.I think I have already said that he and my hubby could be interchangeable. He thinks as he does because he knows women.( no he has not been in my bed...and I'm not on a commission) Now, advice to a single lady? Wow ! the world at you feet. All I can say is think of what you want and do it ,but with someone you can trust. If you want to swing with a guy, make sure he is aware it's a two way street, and as much for your pleasure as his. It is now Christmas, and we wish you all the very best for the coming festive season | |
