Cafe Brazil
It is a small restaurant chain in Dallas we enjoyed when we lived there. They named the restaurant after the locale the coffee beans are from, but the cuisine is eclectic and has a global influence. It's like a coffee bar with great food - served at all hours. The helpings are hearty, and the Key Lime Cheesecake is made fresh every day.

What is your usual holiday schedule like?

Yes, I really like Christmas. My father's birthday would be the 18th; it has always been a happy time in my life.

There are not any movies I watch by tradition. If there are some I like, I will watch them when they are on, but I don't go out of my way to make time for them.

My favorite Christmas song is probably "The 12 Days of Christmas", because it takes so long to sing. I like stretching the enjoyment out. I do an intentionally off-key 'crazy' version for the kids that reallllly cracks them up. I think that is when it became my favorite. The sound of their laughter.

Our schedule is usually pretty simple. An intimate family affair on Christmas eve, with a larger gathering the next day. However, we have bowed out of the larger gathering. My mom is coming to us!

Our schedule has been a little busier this year, due to all the swingers' Christmas parties we have attended. We hope to get one more party in before Christmas.
