We met in the Army. I saw her around the battalion area for about a year. We kind of dated for a couple of weeks and got married. The first night we slept together we just slept. I think that kind of stunned her!

If you could meet one person, dead or alive- who would it be & why?

For Billy it is probably Colin Powell. Everytime he speaks he makes sense to me. Elaine is probably Sigmund Freud. Something about her mother....

What do you say when you wake up in the A.M.?

Personally I would like to ask Elaine every morning who that other beautiful woman in my bed is. Reality is "Shit, I got to go to work again?"

I'll take the first 3 questions -

1. Do you own any pets?

We own 2 dogs. One is a Greaty Pyrnees, the other one we rescued and thought it might be a Pyrnees but have come to the conclusion that is Mermars Shepherd (not for sure of the spelling). These are dogs are considered extra large and both are snow white. They have about 1/2 acre to run in and the house has a dog door. So it can be quite interesting at times.

2. What do you like to do in your spare time? Shopping, eating and what is spare time?

3. What is your favorite season? Baseball. Our son plays on the high school team. We are not into sports, just enjoy watching him play.

Our best advice and it is real simple I think. Communication and respect. Talk about what you want. This goes for the lifestyle and anything in life and respect the other persons opinion and ideas.

Who's posts do you find yourself looking for when you look at the board?

I don't look for any one person's posts. They have to make sense/humor and be quick to the point. Long drawn out posts leave me slightly bored if that is a good word. If you can't say it in a couple of paragraphs....

3 members that you would like to see in the spotlight?

Julie, PeeWee/Gail (Close Encounters), and VegasLee (hope I got that right). I'm sure one of them has been in the spotlight maybe not here but in other places. Actually it's people I've come to respect some of their opinions whether it's here in cyberspace or in real life.

JustAskJulie Can you elaborate on how your 15 year old is your retirement account?

Hi Julie,

Our 15 year old daughter is very smart we believe. Since being in school she has maintained a very high GPA. Last year it was OVER 4.0. She takes advanced classes that get her this high. She also doesn't take classes that will bring down her GPA because they aren't "hard" enough. This year as a sophmore she is the Key Club Vice President. She's in Who's Who, which I don't think means a bunch, but I am probably wrong about that. Beta Club has accepted her. She volunteers her time with Hospice Care. She also does some other volunteer work. Wheeewww. Too much bragging?

At the age of 10 she had two universities picked out - Harvard and Yale. She was/is being tracked by Duke for exceptional students. She has taken the ACT's (SAT's?) several times already. The one which the high score is 36. I believe her last score was 25 at the age of 14. Too much yet???

The valedictorian of last year scored a 33. My daughter leaned over to me and said "I am going to beat that!". So she is striving to be valedictorian of her graduating class. I swear she didn't get all this achievement from me.

I love her dearly and like her which is even as important. And when she asks me how much I love her I form a circle with my fingers indicating a "O". And a circle never ends and my love for this person won't either.

Now if she makes enough money.... I retire?
