I can't make the call on overall phallus because I don't know if it matters.
I would hope it doesn't but to each their own . . .

As far as breast size goes I really don't have a preference. I take a woman's body as a whole. For me personality is the biggest factor on whether someone is sexy.

How often do you like to play?
It depends . . . I have a VERY flexible relationship with time and I'm a bit of an outrider type. I might be around for 3 months then completely absorbed in my own world for the next 2 months. I'll be honest, that has gotten me in trouble a few times with couples who have certain expectations. I try real hard to be up front about it but sometimes when the reality meets the road, it wasn't understood.

On the other hand if someone shows up unannounced at my shop door in the middle of the day and said: "put your hammer down . . . I need some attention" well then . . .

Don't wear any. I don't like the restricted feeling. I'll put on a pair of longs if I'm snow camping or doing some other cold weather activity.

Don't really have a desk per se. But I do have a small Siberian Husky stuffed animal over my forge.

Rock Concert or symphony?
Symphony for me. My rock concert days are kind o' behind me.

Play or Opera?
I enjoy a good play.
I appreciate the opera but it's just never been my cup of tea

Have you ever fired a gun?
Oh yeah, been around them my whole life but I don't hunt.
I used to fire black powder with a friend of mine until I had a revolver chamber fire on me (all the cylinders go off at once). That pretty much ended my vintage firearm fascination

Do you like to travel by plane?
Not commercially. Scares the hell outta me. But I do it when I have to.
The funny thing is I grew up around airplanes. I was raised a mile from the local field and I was the kid on the ramp who was always saying: "Hey mister, I'll wash your airplane if you'll take me up". I did volunteer work with a local air museum for about 14 years and I've gone up in all sorts of WWII vintage aircraft and open cockpit bi-planes. That I love! It doesn't bother me because I'm part of what's going on. But a commercial flight flying cattle class . . . I just can't stand it!

Right-handed or Left-handed.
Left handed mostly but use both for a lot of things <EG>
I like to think that the universe created a few perfect people . . .

Both . .

Just one. It's one of those Bucky pillow things. You know, the ones filled with buckwheat husks. It just does the best job of supporting this big ol' head of mine.

Before I got my license it was the only way I got around. I'm suprised I'm still to tell the story given the type of people I'd get rides from.

What is the most beautiful thing that you have ever seen?
Every sunrise I wake up to.

I really am just a "what you see is what you get "kinda fellow.
So the fact that this interview has an erotic element to it; I take as a VERY sweet compliment.


1. Do you garden? If so, what do you grow?

I love to garden. I'm a practical gardener so I raise that which I can eat.
I also like to keep an herb garden for cooking. There's nothing like fresh produce on the table!!! Having just moved in to this new place I haven't put in a garden yet but that will happen next Spring.

Luckily my brother is a market gardener who sells at the local farmer's market. He specializes in organically grown heritage varities so I have a metal work for vegetables barter thing going on to keep those fresh veggies coming in.


2. If you had a chance to have dinner with a famous person, who would it be and what would you talk about?
Story Musgrave.
A shuttle astronaut who I view as a true citizen of the universe. He's the most multi-dimensional individual I've ever been aware of. I'd just want to speak with him about his take on the nature of existence.

3. Do you believe in capital punishment?
Not inside the system it's currently administered in.
My spiritual philosophy is founded in balance and I believe there are individuals that personify the negative side of existence and their acts are truly heinous and a danger to us all. In some cases it's necessary to exorcise that individual from the plane we exist on. But how to go about that in the best way? I wish someone had a real answer to that.


4. If you were writing a letter to your sweetheart, how would you address her?
Just that: Sweetheart. It's one of my favorite words. If not that, then her first name. The most personal of titles.

5. Baseball Game, or Chick Flick
I'm really not a sports guy. I'd rather participate in something than observe it (well, there's a few things I DO like to watch ).

I do need to qualify this a bit. My father passed away from cancer in the mid 90's and I was his caregiver for the last seven months of his life. Being from St Louis he was a BIG Cardinals fan and he loved watching baseball
so we'd watch a fair amount of it together (I kind of grinned and bore it).
But if I could have him back for just a day, I'd watch all the damn baseball he wanted!!!

I'm hot and cold on chick flicks. If they're so steeped in the pain that's possible in a relationship then they are a little much for me. But if they
incorporate the wonder moments I really enjoy them.

The hill that's in my avatar.

7. Do you have a fireplace in your house?
I don't. Wish there was room for one. My place is small (900 SqFt)
and there's not really a good place for one in the remodel plans I have.

I do have a woodburning cookstove.
(beautiful thing I got about 8 years ago)
I do all of my cooking on it and it heats my home as well. As we speak I'm in the process of doing all the work to install it into the new house. I can't wait to get it fired up again. It's one of the greatest day to day joys I have!

8. Do you go for walks?
Anywhere between 2 and 5 times a day. I've established a nature trail around the perimeter of my property (five acres) and it changes from a moss covered 60ft tall rock bluff that extends down one entire property line to deeply wooded moss covered fir trees and alder groves. All VERY hilly. The diversity is amazing! The pups and I are developing quite a relationship with the land and all the critters we cohabit with!

9. What is your favorite season
We're in it. Fall. I love all the seasons and the differences they bring but there's something about Fall that just put's me at absolute peace with my surroundings!

PS..those flowers sound wonderful. Now for some wine..
The fawn lilies and foxglove grow wild on my place and in the Spring they cover everything!

If I were to deliver those flowers to you we'd have to make a day of it.
Conversations and explorations and do the sort of things that would inspire you to select the wine that you thought fit the day. As I said earlier in the interview I really am a wine novice so I'd have to take your lead on that.

Yes I am blushing and I do loved to be ribbed!

But I'll break the spell here and let you see one of my (many) character flaws. Which is not being able to let something go by without a comment (or manifesto).

I think both my ex's would say that I'm WAY too independent. Not aware enough of the needs of others. An egotistical, arrogant know-it-all
that's in love with the sound of his own voice (and speaks for others' when they're not around ).

As my first wife told me a couple of years ago . . .Hon, you make a much better friend than you did a husband!

I love them both dearly and am glad they and their families are still a big part of my life!

Have you ever been married?
Twice.

The first was my highschool sweetheart we were together for 8 years married for 5 (I started swinging with her).

The second we were together for 11 years married for 9
(My relationship with her was completely vanilla).

Both splits were more my fault than theirs.

Would you ever consider getting married (again)?
My material holdings are in a trust to go to the younger members of my family (nieces and nephews - I have no children of my own) and at this point in my life I want those things to go specifically to them. I don't want the complications of a legally binding marriage to interfere with that. Pre-nups and co-habitation agreements can still be over-ruled or over-turned so I wouldn't trust those to protect my assets.

I'd like to think that I'll find that perfect someone [who could put up with me] that I could spend the rest of my life with. There's so much about being part of a couple that I do cherish!

Do you prefer dating single women or swinging? What do you see as the advantages/ disadvantages to each?

I enjoy both. Swinging is nice because it fits with the nature of my libido and I can have a level of intimacy without the commitments of a relationship. I also love the chance to get to know people at a level where some of the restrictions of sexual taboos have been removed. It seems to open things up more. The dowside is when you are done you're still alone and there isn't someone special that you can share a one on one love with.

I enjoy dating single women but I really am at a point where I almost have a prerequisite that they either be in the "lifestyle" or be very comfortable with it (Good luck with that!).

All that being said: Never say never. You just don't know what direction things will spin in!

I love pizza! I've got a U-bake place about 5 minutes from my house. I love their combination pepperoni, sausage and ground beef . . . mmmmm
(The woman who owns the place is very attractive )

A hamburger/veggie burger?
It depends. I love a good burger if I'm working on a cold day, the bigger and juicier the better! But if it's hot, the combination of 2300 degree forge, knee length leather apron and hard hammering . . . it's a nice light veggie burger.

Would you like french fries, onion rings or something else with that?
It depends, I'm a bit of a fries and onion ring snob so they have to be done just right. Otherwise it's whatever's being offered . . .

How do you take your coffee?
VERY strong. What would be four servings of espresso for anyone else is a single cup for me.

How do you like your eggs?
After I've spent the night with someone I had fun with . . .
