I don't generally do hot tubs either. I am very unpopular when at a house party, people ask us to get in the hot tub. I will at times, just not my favorite thing, and I cannot stay in long.

If any of you are Seinfeld fans, Kramer said it best in the episode where they were having water pressure issues and Jerry told him to just take a bath. Kramer's response was something along the lines of, "sit in a tepid pool of my own filth!???"

That's kind of how I feel. :rollseyes

When you have people join you, do you prefer men, women or couples and why?

Do you have a preference? and if so why?

I am not bi, so my general preference is either for couples or single men. I like the "focus on me" aspect of the single male, but I also enjoy being involved in full swap as well. I like being able to watch my husband and be involved with him at the same time as we are all together with others.

1. What's your favorite "adult beverage"?

2. What's your favorite "non-adult beverage"?

3. If you were a dog, what kind of dog would you be?

4. What's scarier, snakes or spiders?

5. Thongs: Sexy and comfy or just an "all-day wedgie" ?

6. Patsy Cline or Lorretta Lynn?

1. Blue Hawaiian

2. Water or unsweetened iced tea with extra lemon

3. Rottweiler

4. Neither ... I own a snake and if I find a spider in the house, I pick it up and put it outside, alive.

5. I HATE thongs! I normally wear string bikinis, but when a thong is required to diminish panty lines, I do give in. When I do, I like the thong part to be bigger than butt-floss. Victoria's Secret has some great ones that have a wide enough thong that it doesn't ride up all day long.

6. Funny ... right now on my Yahoo radio launch, Loretta is playing, but I love them both. Hard to make a decision on that one. If I HAD to choose, I would probably choose Loretta, just because I know more of her songs. Generally speaking, though, I prefer male singers.

Only 5 points???!!! LOL

Thought owning a 5' python would be worth at least 20, especially since most women and a good portion of men are deathly afraid of snakes!

I love rottweilers ... used to have two, but they got stolen.

I think they are beautiful ... muscular, intimidating, yet very loyal and loving animals. Dangerous when provoked, but cuddly and sweet to those that pose no threat to their family.

Default Re: MOTW Interview #13 - txduo2000

THere is just something about a man in a cowboy heat that sets my heart a flutter. Must be the country girl in me. Nice picture of you both.

So what is the craziest thing you have ever done.

What are you passionate about (hey I am sure we all have something, chocolate is high up there for me ).

If you could travel..where would you go.

Is there anything that you haven't done, that you really really would love to do?

Yes, MJ, men in cowboy hats get my heart to fluttering, too. facelick And, OMG, when that is paired up with a nice, tight pair of Wranglers .... man, we could just skip the dancing!!! lol

You have asked me some difficult questions, MJ ... don't know that I have ever done anything that would be considered terribly crazy .... I might have to get back to you on that one.

I am passionate about my husband, my children, education, safety .... so many things....

Austrailia is my dream travel, with Alaska right behind it. Not much for foreign countries. I am intimidated by language barriers.

I am hoping before I die to finish my B.A. degree and go on to Law School. I would like to be either a family law or criminal law attorney. If I wasn't so damn old right now, and hadn't wasted so much of my life, I would have liked to become a forensic pathologist, but medical school requires way too much time that I simply don't have that much of anymore.

My husband and I were separated for several reasons, but most of all disrespect that allowed many other factors to seep into our marriage. We treated each other's kids unfairly (we are a step family with no kids together), we treated each other with resentment, disdain and disrespect, and I CHEATED on him with a co-worker. These incidences took place after we got out of the lifestyle for a while, and in fact we had been out of it for about 6 months or so when my affair started. It didn't last long, it wasn't based on anything other than escaping my miserable home life and a cheap thrill, there was no longevity in the relationship and it ended after only a few months.

After it ended, my husband desperately wanted to forgive me, but we are BOTH VERY jealous people ... but we have perspective in the lifestyle, mind you. In mainstream life, we are brutally jealous, though. The reason being that CHEATING involves LIES, SNEAKING AROUND and finally COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISRESPECT. He had difficulty forgiving me, I was on the defensive all the time, we got into really loud fights, sometimes involving violence against each other.

I had had enough and I left. I moved out, got my own place and we were separated for 6 months. During the first 3 months, we rarely talked to one another, though he did attempt to take me out for Valentine's ... ended up in a bust because I was still harboring so much anger and resentment for the things in our life that had been so miserable that they opened the door for me to cheat, I was angry with him for saying he forgave me but not putting it into action, so after V-Day, we didn't speak at all for a couple months.

I guess during those months, my anger, frustration and resentment started to melt and we would occasionally talk on the phone. Asking advice for different situations, etc. Then one night, he showed up, totally unexpectedly at a club I was at with my aunt, which is over 100 miles from the town we live. I was stunned and ..... strangely happy. I never stopped loving him, it was just buried under so much rage that I had to have the time to let it all subside. From that moment we started, slowly, seeing each other and talking about reconciling. Knowing that this time it would only work if we each maintained a very high level of RESPECT for one another and be completely HONEST with each other about everything, no matter how unpleasant those honest discussions may be. We each agreed that if our marriage was to survive, we HAD to put each other above all and work on our marriage in the same way a drowning person struggles to survive in a rising tide out at sea.

And that's how we have mended those fences. We still have disagreements, and we are both control freaks, so it is rough sometimes. But we always have to remember our agreement to never do anything to jeopardize each others' security or emotional well-being, never to lose respect for each other and to always be honest with each other.
No questions from me, just a comment if you don't mind:

I admire your honesty, and your respect for the concept of respect.

Thank you, wg.

My concept of respect is something that has taken a great deal of time and a whole lot of trouble to understand, and I think it is something that everyone should live their lives by.

Personally, I think there would be far less divorce and tension filled relationships in this world if people understood respect and put way more emphasis on that than they do the simplistic idea of love. It's easy to love, far more difficult to truly respect someone. And I believe when you truly respect someone that you love, the love is so much better and only grows. Love has its peaks and valleys and too many people are ready to give up on their relationships just because their love hits a low point at times. People should try to understand that love evolves and it's not going to be the giddy, high school, puppy dog stuff that it starts out as. But as long as respect for one another is maintained, couples can go through the cycles that love evolves through and survive.

What kind of underwear do you wear?
What's on your desk?
Rock Concert or symphony?
Play or Opera? Play.
Have you ever fired a gun?
Do you like to travel by plane?
Right-handed or Left-handed.
Smooth or Chunky Peanut Butter?
How many pillows so you sleep with?
Ever hitchhiked?

My monitor and my webcam are the only thing on our "desk" ... it's really a small table just for the computer in our room.

Rock concert, definitely. lol

Play ... I really do enjoy plays, but mostly comedies. Has anyone here seen the "Greater Tuna" plays? Hilarious!

Yes, many times. Own two, actually.

Yes, though before I did for the first time at age 25 I was scared to death. Since then, it's a cakewalk. Seats aren't comfortable and I don't like the ear popping thing that goes on, but overall it's ok.

Right-handed

Do not like peanut butter.

I sleep with 5 pillows. Hubby sleeps with three. Good thing we have a king-sized bed!

Hell no ... I am a student of criminology and criminal justice and an amateur expert on serial killers. No way in hell!
