It feels a little weird being the center of attention, but here we are!

Are you part of a Couple or Single? Couple

If you are part of a couple, is this screenname for both of you? If so, which one primarily does the posting? Zoe & Wash is our shared screenname. He is Wash, she is Zoe. Wash probably does a little more posting than Zoe.

Relationship Status? (how long have you been together?) Happily married and then some for almost 8 years, together 4 years before that, for a total of 12 happy years together!

Location? Somewhere in the Midwest, not far from Lake Wobegon in a town of 8,000. And we're the biggest town for seventy miles around. Discretion and confidentiality are a must.

Age(s)? Wash - 34 Zoe - a fair bit older....

Birthday(s)? Wash - December Zoe - June

Anniversary? 7/5 (We wanted to get married on the 4th so the whole country would be celebrating with us, but the Fates were against us.)

If a couple, which one primarily posts: Wash does most of the posting at the moment, but that's subject to change at any time.

Swinging for how long?: We haven't actually started yet -- except in the fantasies we've recently begun sharing.....

Prefer/Hope to swing with? Since we're still exploring the wonderful world of fantasies, that's pretty open at the moment. We're definitely interested in folks like ourselves - no drama queens, no folks looking to solve their marital problems through open relationships, no 'kids'. Wash is thinking of a "married/together seven years" rule.

Give us a Brief Intro: We were having pretty good sex a few months ago when Zoe asked Wash "So what websites do you like to visit?" He says "Mostly sites that involve three or more people." The sex got a lot better real quick.

Looking back on it now, we've been on the fringe of "the lifestyle" since the beginning. We had friends in Florida that were hip deep into it, we flirt with just about anyone, and we're frank about our relationship with pretty much anyone who'll ask.

I guess we're looking for a way to live out a fantasy or two or three or....

As for the types of fantasies, we've talked about pretty much everything you've mentioned and a few more besides, though I'm more bi-curious than bi. Never had any experience beyond kissing in that department, but it was definitely enough to make me curious....

There is a little bit of the slave in me, too, thanks to a previous relationship. Wash never thought about that particular fantasy before, but he's starting to warm up to the idea.

I suppose I've had a little more experience than Wash, but it just sort of happened around me, rather than being planned, if that makes any sense at all.... Nothing heavy or serious, just a small taste to whet one's appetite, so to speak.

That is how it started for us. We kind of "fell into" a couple of "soft" good times and figured what the hell....

It's part of a longer quote from a science fiction show called "Babylon 5: Crusade". A fella named Gideon said "Never eat anything at a place called Mom's. Never shoot pool at a place called Pop's. And never eat anything larger than your head."

Good logic, from our way of thinking.

Yet another sci-fi related answer from the couple that once stayed up until 3 a.m. to see all five Planet of the Apes movies back to back to back to . . . .

Zoe and Wash are a married couple on the short lived series Firefly - Zoe is a "warrior woman" - six feet of leather strapped .30-.30 carrying, long haired sweaty goddess in bed.

Wash is a coward. He flies the boat, too.



We identify with them in the biggest way.

Ya gotta watch out for Wash's sense of humor. It can be a bit dry and caustic, but incredibly funny once you get used to it.

Minnesota? Hey - no need to get personal here, pal.

We're close to Lake Wobegon, somewhere between Lake Wobegon and Port Asbestos - within easy driving distance of Rome, WI and all parts in between. We always joke about Lake Wobegon with our friends elsewhere because Garrison Keillor really hits the nail on the head with his descriptions of life in the Upper Midwest.

We met under unusual circumstances. I (W) was spending the night at friends after attending a bachelor party. When I got to their place, there was this chick on the sleeper sofa I usually crashed on. I'd met her briefly that evening, some sparks were present, but nothing that I was going to bet the next few decades on.

Being a gentlemen, I snagged a couple of pillows and went to sleep (albeit fitfully) on the floor. And then to what to my wonderous ears should be heard? "Look, if you're uncomfortable, why don't you come up here?"

We actually held ourselves back from doing anything major - both to our surprise. That weekend, sparks were firmly established and we spent the rest of the weekend flirting and making out whenever we got the chance.

A few weeks later, with blood test results in hand, we spent a very loooong weekend together - and fell deeply, madly and irrevocably in love with each other.

Then I was deployed for six months and our entire relationship became distilled to letters (pre-email - remember love letters on actual paper? You could scent them, it was cool) and maybe two or three phone calls. Those six months firmly established our relationship and gave us a nice litmus test - no matter what, we knew after that separation that we were stuck together for good.
