Oh I love the fact that there are some more sci fi geeks (that's what my hubby likes to call me) around. So far I know every show and quote you have used. .

So favorite books/authors.

What is the most romantic thing you have done for each other (you can answer that independently ).

Are you equally sarcastic or is it just Wash (it's okay I enjoy good sarcasm)

If it's sex you're asking after, we've been so vanilla we don't honestly have one - isn't that pathetic?

When I was best man at a wedding, I toasted my buddy and his new wife - but used his ex-wife's name (they are going through a divorce now, it's my fault).

Zoe had some moments while acting in college plays, but really, we don't have any thrilling sexual exploits of yesteryear to speak of - which is one of the reasons we're here now.

Okay, we've been interrupted by a toddler - but who on this board above the age of thirty hasn't?

Sorry?

MFM? (Our personal favorite facelick )

FMF? (non bi)

MFMF? (straight)

MFMF (with girl play)
Zoe didn't give the answer that I would have, but . . . .

What? Did you run out of M's and F's on your keyboard? Does the expression "Pile o' Flesh" give you any indication where I'm coming from?

Errrr . . . but we'll probably start with a threesome or a foursome with a couple. I understand that most folks start with 5K fun runs before moving onto the Boston Marathon. And we're probably a few years away from the Boston Marathon, too.

And a warm and fuzzy klaatu barata nikto back atcha, MJ. Quick - what happened September 13th 1999?

We're that geeky.

W - I need spaceships and believeable excuses for breaking Einsteins rules, so my favorites are Clarke, Card, Asimov and Niven - the best ever, IMHO, is Fountains of Paradise, but even Clarke won't agree with me on that one. Ender's Game the movie will either be a classic on the lines of Star Wars or will end up as a camp classic. There is no middle ground.

Z - I like fantasy at least as much as sci-fi. Marion Zimmer-Bradley, Sharon Green, Anne McCaffrey and Ray Bradbury. I tend to read series so my favorites would be Pern and Darkover. But I enjoy Wash's favorite authors too.

Z&W - The new Battlestar Galactica is probably the best thing we've seen on tv since the cancellation of Firefly and Farscape. Thus, it is doomed. It will be replaced by a Reality Supermarket show in a matter of weeks. Paper or Plastic? The Emmy Award winning controversy . . .

The most romantic thing we've done for each other? Had a son. The one who brings us "toddlerus interruptus" on a weekly basis. We really should tie a bell around his neck at bedtime.

Z - As for sarcasm, nah - I let Wash handle that.

I'd guess the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me (excluding forgetting my lines in a high school play) would be trying to dismount from the back of a motorcyle in front of the post office, catching my heel on the back of the seat and landing flat on my ass! Ouch!!!

Guess you're not up on your Space:1999 trivia.

On September 13, 1999 (according to the TV series) the moon was blown out of Earth's orbit. It is also the birthday of Barbara Bain - one of the main actresses on the show.

We have one - a sleep-walking pre-schooler who thinks that mommy and daddy are being silly when they're in bed without any clothes on.

Thankfully, he usually goes potty before coming into our room and he always slams the lid on the toilet. Gives us a good 20 seconds to make ourselves presentable.

With any luck, he'll be in college in just 14 years. Thirteen if we can get him into the Naval Academy.

Now, the cats on the other hand . . . .

W (Z is putting down said sleep-walking pre-schooler)
