What brought you guys to the idea of swinging? Which one of you brought up the subject and how was it recieved by the other one?

1. I don't really know. I think the more confident I get about myself (I have weight issues) The more I would be willing to consider opening things up further. I can't expect someone else to be comfortable with me when I'm not comfortable with myself.

3. Things have slowed as of late. Our business is picking up and I haven't had a whole lot of time to devote to our "quest" but before now I was actually searching daily.

5. I haven't lately, but the fact that he died 7mos before I was born doens't help that fact, I'm sure. YES he is dead. One of my great uncles carried him from the bathroom where they found him. Mr. Mac's grandfather is Joe Esposito (although he doesn't claim this part of his family) For those of you who don't know Joe was his road manager and right hand man.

You know... I really don't know what brought us to the idea of swinging. Surrender I am the one who brought it up. Although I don't really think I knew that a threesome was "considered" swinging at the time. Of course, I have since learned that there are an innumerable amount of definitions for swinging so I have broadened my own definitions of the word.

The first time that we discussed it was when I was VERY pregnant with our 3rd little boy. We discussed a friend of mine joining us. I think most of that had to do with hormones, honestly. And in the end she chickened out and decided that it would make things weird and she didn't want to do it.

It came up again a few months ago, I think because I developed a crush on my Taekwondo instructor. Nothing serious and I wasn't (and am not) trying to "bag" him, but it stirred up the question, "Is there anyone in our life that you would have sex with if given the opportunity." At first Mr. Mac said "No" and I politely proceeded to call him a LIAR! But that opened up a can of worms that hasn't closed yet :rollseyes

1. That's it's okay....I'm not strange or perverted or weird just because I have sexual fantasies that involve other people in my sex life with my husband. That and BEWARE OF THE VULGAR. The girls that come at us with "Hey, you wanna #@!@ my $#%$@@ while I ^$^%#$ his @*(*%" are just not for me. For God sakes, like sex okay? But you can still be a lady about it!
2. I think the openness has surprised both of us and made us feel more comfortable to talk to one another about things we may not have normally. We may read about a situation here that we had not thought of yet and it opens up the lines of communication about that subject so that we know how the other one feels and we know how we want to handle it if it happens to us!

Oh.. my tag line...It's a song by Nickelback called Figured You Out. It's really good! Another favorite, although I don't typically like Ashley Simpson, is her song La La... and my favorite part of THAT song goes like this:

Damn Julie, ask an easy question will ya.... I have to really think on these.

I am a researcher by heart. Not professionally, but personally. I look into it, read about it, see what others have asked, see what experts say, read advice given to others, the whole nine yards before I even talk about things outloud.

I looked it up. I looked up threesomes and advice given on threesomes before I ever talked about it to Mr. Mac. When I realized that people were asking threesome questions on swinger sites I kinda did a double take had the thought, "Geez, Is that considered swinging? I didn't know that was considered swinging. Hrm.."

Categorizing it was never something I had even thought of. Swinging was always something to stare in awe at on HBO's Real Sex series. Not something NORMAL people did, and surely not anything I could EVER do.

Ah how things change as you approach 30.

As far as I know we are! Our work is beginning to pick up (THANK GOD!) because our business is seasonal so if we land a big contract or something (hopefully) then we may have to change our plans, but otherwise, we intend on being there!
