About the interviews

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are.
Every Thursday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked.

Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice.

Swinging for how long?:

Let's see, Tom had a few experiences with an earlier lady friend B.B. (Before Bonnie). Together, our first experience was probably 17 years ago.

Prefer to swing with:

Swingers, definitely! Non swingers are difficult to swing with, at least for the second time. But for the most part, we swing mainly with committed couples.

Favorite food(s):

Sushi... Definitely!

Biggest Pet Peeve:

Fakes and Braggarts. Tom particulary gets bent out of shape with internet rumors and hoaxes. I guess because he gets so much email every day!

Brief Intro:

We are very much in love, busy running a club and raising three boys.We're very comfortable in the lifestyle and Bonnie and I started the first swingers club in San Antonio just over 5 years ago. Previously, we would host swingers socials at various bars in the city. Everyone wanted a club of their own so we kept asking everyone to start one and they all kept pointing at us. So we did it and became celibate swingers... LOL

Inside joke, ask a club owner, Right PeeWee?

We host couples trips twice a year to Desire in Cancun as well as Hedonism II and III on ocassion.

Bonnie was last years Scarlet Fever Magazine calendar Girl for the month of September. One of her greatest achievements...being selected to appear nude in a swingers calendar at the age of 41.

Player's has fast become a very well known swingers club and we were told by Gary at Lifestyles that they consider us one of the top ten off premise clubs in the country. Wow! what a honor!

We met at college, Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. Tom was an ag major and was well known at the local dance hall as a good dancer. Bonnie was looking to dance and a girlfriend introduced us. We were quite good at dancing together and spent every weekend night and nickle beer Wednesdays at the local honky tonk. by the way, George Strait and The Ace in the Hole Band were a local garage band at the time. We knew him and the band and always tried to be at his dances.

We soon became a couple and all of Bonnies girlfriends told her to avoid Tom like the plaque.. It seems that Tom had a bit of reputation back then. But she stuck with him and the rest, they say, is history.

How long have you been together? Married?

We met November 7, 1980 at Bigger 'n Dallas nightclub in San Marcos. We were married on October 13, 1984. Honeymooned on the beach in Bora Bora, Tahiti

At the time, the closest club to us was Friends or Anchovies in Austin. A 180 mile roundtrip that we attempted way too many times for comfort. We soon realized, as did a great number of our friends, that we needed our own place here in San Antonio.

Since no one else would step up to the plate, we took the challenge. Tom, being the anal retentive sob that he is.. Spent a lot of time researching the laws, and local codes to see how it could be done. We were warned that San Antonio was too conservative for a swingers club but plowed ahead anyway. We set it up as an off premises club becasue no one else had ever opened a true on premises club in Texas. Five years later we know a lot more and have met all the challenges thrown our way. Well, we're now looking to change that and open a true European Style On premise night club within the next year. Investors anyone?

How are you two coping with being celibate hosts?

Lots of sex with each other...

truly, we get so worked up seeing all the couples enjoying themselves at our club we're both so hot and bothered by the time we crawl into bed about 3:30 or 4:00 am we can't wait to jump each others bones...

What is the most rewarding experience you've had in regards to swinging?

There are many, but the most rewarding is probably our club and our reputation among Lifestyle business owners. We've been approached by many club owners seeking advice. tom was asked to be a founding member of ILA (international Lifestyle assoc.) as well as contributing in Lifestyle business discusion in New Orleans and Dallas.

We also love to see all the sucesses with the couples who meet at our club.

Bonnie being asked to be a nude calendar girl for the Scarlet Fever Calendar was a big honor as well!

What a hard question! There are lots of things physically and psychologically that I am attracted to with Tom. He has a great personality and makes everyone feel at home. He is smart, good looking and dances great! He has given me unconditional love for 24 years and is extremely trusting. He has high standards and never backs down from a discussion when he knows he is right! On the naughty side, he knows how to ‘punch’ my buttons, keep me happy, follow my rules (women make all the rules!) and I guess it helps that he has a talented tongue and a big dick!

Bonnie is the perfect woman for me. The first thing that attracted me when we first met where her big breasts! Of course, what else could a man want? Well, there’s more, plenty more, she is a loving caring person who I could never imagine being without. She is intelligent, articulate, compassionate as well as extremely beautiful. She is friendly to a fault and as long as you respect her she would give the shirt off her back. And, frequently does... LOL

Yes, the two older ones do. It's kind of hard for them not to know since we own a club are workingit every weekend and get phone calls about it constantly. Of course, they don't know what goes on in our bedroom as we don't want to know what goes on in theirs! They do see that their parents are very much in love have lots and lots of wonderful friends. They see us laughing and flirting with each other while, sadly, many of their friends parents are fighting or already seperated.

They're hapy as long as they keep getting their allowance!

No, not really. Many of our family members know we own a nightclub but they don't necessarily know exactly what kind of club it is. Some do, but not all!

We have two hosted trips coming up next year. The first is for Valentines day week, Feb 12 - 19 and the next one is the fourth of July week. Information can be found on our website. We would love to have everyone join us there. The main reason is because we don't have to do that much work when we're there so we have time to be swingers again and enjoy ourselves!
