About the interviews

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are.
Every Thursday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked.

Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

The current person being interviewed will choose the next person. They need to first pm him or her and ask if he or she is interested, then pm me to let me know. It is preferred that you pick someone that you do not know very well as the purpose of this thread is to get to know new people. If for some reason, the next interviewee has not been chosen in time for the new interview, I will pick the next person. If you would like to be added to my list of back-up interviewees, please pm me.

Anything Italian, anything Portuguese, anything Cajun, anything spicy. We don't generally play immediately after meals, gee I wonder why?.

Biggest Pet Peeve:
People that don't smile, laugh, and enjoy life. People that take themselves too seriously.

Brief Intro:
We have been together almost four years now and enjoy each other thoroughly. We have 4 children 2 grown and two that live with our respective ex's out of state. Our adult son and his family live up the road from us so we get to see our granddaughter more than most people. We get to travel a fair bit as Barbara comes to my gigs with me. We have an ark of our own with three BIG dogs, a couple of cats, fish, a skunk (incredible housepet), and a bearded dragon. All but one of our animals were either abandoned or abused. They just seem to find us when they are in trouble.

Julie the two of us met in an internet chat room almost four years ago. Barbara lived down in San Antonio and I lived about 40 miles south of Dallas. We had a whirlwind courtship and moved in about ten days later. We haven't been apart since.

I think skunks are so sweet looking...aren't they in the cat family?

We had a mother skunk and her tiny baby cross the road in front of our car the other day. I stopped and watched. Would have liked to take the little one home.

Which brings me to asking you how is a skunk as a house pet different from a cat?

Why do you think a skunk is an "incredible house pet?"

Hi Newbies,

We started the lifestyle together. We were in the twilight area listening to the radio and waiting for real sleep when Barb says; "I have never told you or anyone else, but I am also attracted to women". My first reaction was; "COOL!!" From there it developed into some serious discussion where we laid out our ground rules and we started dabbling a couple of weeks later.

Hi Mrs Good Times,

I am a guitar player and my band and I play Texas Blues and Blues based Rock. We have a great time.
Mrs Fun comes along for the fun and to be together, but occasionally will hawk T-shirts and CD's etc. Especially if Christmas is on the horizon LOL.

I don't believe that their origin is feline but I can't put my finger on what it is exactly. It may very well be rodent.

They are very cute, but have a nasty spraying habits before surgery and the smell isn't something that grows with the skunk, it is there from day one.

Well for one, skunks are better mousers. Skunks are a bit more interesting and a LOT more inquisitive. To make things more interesting, skunks can open nearly ANYTHING they set their mind to get at. They take a fair bit of time to train. I say they are incredible pets probably because musicians and skunks are both nocturnal creatures. She is her most active at 2-5am which are usually my most productive creative hours. It is nice to have the company while everyone else is asleep including the cats and dogs. The other nice thing about her is she doesn't make a sound. The dogs and cats constantly try to vocalize with me, where she just looks at me and expects me to read her mind.

We had a good time, although in retrospect we wish we hadn't met another new couple the first time out. Some experience on either side would have been a help. Fortunately everyone had a great sense of humor and we all got through laffing all the way. It was a mite clumsy in form, kind of like watching a labrador puppy try to chase a ball on a freshly waxed linoleum floor. Yes it was that clumsy but we had a great time. If we had a lot of expectations about sexual extacy we probably would have never swung again LOL.
