We could write a book about this, but we will try to keep things concise. The only clue to our future chemistry was a conversation we had on the telephone sometime in the late 1990’s. We hadn’t been in touch for a while, so we spent a couple of hours catching up on things. It was surprising how well the conversation flowed, considering the fact that we still didn’t know each other very well at the time.

When Sheryl left her previous husband in 2001, she temporarily moved in with Greg until she could find an apartment of her own. At that time, we were still only casual friends. About three weeks later, she moved into unit just one floor above Greg. Several weeks after that, Greg was spending more time in Sheryl’s than in his own. Somewhere along the line, we turned into a couple.

Someday, Sheryl would like to visit Switzerland to fulfill a wish of her late grandmother, who was of Swiss descent. She also wants to take Greg to Hedonism II in Jamaica. Greg has never been outside of the United States.

On average, we swing about twice a month; three times on a good month, once on a bad month.

This sounds like a very active swing life to me. I should be so lucky one day.

I hope you haven't answered this already, I didn't see it but if it was answered just redirect me : I wondered if you prefer lots of diversity - new people to swing with as much as possible - or do you favor a particular group of swingers you have become close with?

Also, what do you each feel is your most attractive quality.

It’s interesting that you asked that question, because we recently underwent a change of approach to our lifestyle. One of the reasons we enjoy swinging is because of the variety it provides for us. It’s thrilling to get to know new people on a sexual level, so we are always open to making new acquaintances. However, we have recently decided to concentrate on a core group of couples (the eight couples we mentioned in post #7 of this thread) we regard as friends.

As much as we enjoy going to on-premise swing clubs, we have not been to one in several months for financials reasons (although we did splurge for a trip to the Lifestyles Convention, which we never miss). Furthermore, we haven’t received many house party invitations this year, so the internet has become our primary way of meeting new couples. Unfortunately, as many of you know, the internet may be the least efficient way of meeting other swingers. We have become a little burned out dealing with some of the idiots who contact us.

Fortunately, we realize that we have enough friends in the lifestyle to give us the variety we crave. Besides, we don’t see some of these friend as often as we would like. While we wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to meet someone new, our calendar will be filled with familiar names in the immediate future.

Believe it or not, you stumped us on this one. Perhaps this explains why our ads don’t get the kind response we would like: we aren’t doing a good enough job in selling our attractive qualities. Our ads list a number of facts including our physical descriptions, our sexual interests, and our experience in the lifestyle. They read like encyclopedia entries, which may be a result of Greg’s background in journalism. Even though you don’t know us well, what would you consider to be our most attractive quality? We would like to include something like that in our ads.

We just wanted to drop in and say hi to Greg & Sheryl. They're a great couple that we met at our club a couple of years ago while they were visiting San Antonio. We managed to visit with them a little and found them both to be quite intelligent and entertaining.

They actually left something at the club that caused Tom to pick up another hobby (although he doesn't do it much anymore) This couple left a "Where's George" dollar in the till. So naturally, Tom had to go online and register it too!.

Anyway, good to stay in touch with you guys even if it's online and congrats!

Now you're asking me the tough question.

I only know you through your posts and a few helpful PMs you sent me in response to questions I had. Since never having met or talked with you, I can only surmise. I'd say you are intelligent, articulate, very comfortable with who your are, open, fun loving, and adventurous.

I'd bet if you answered the question for each other it would be easy to come up with a list.

No one locally has ever recognized Sheryl from the film, but some people at the Lifestyles West Convention have done so. Her oddest experience was being singled out in Playboy Magazine’s review of the movie. She was described as the “Martha Stewart of swinging” due to her skill in preparing her house for the parties she and her previous husband used to host.

Sheryl’s worst experience was being frequently coerced by her previous husband into “taking one for the team.” Although she is normally isn’t into gangbangs, her best experience was a mini-gangbang she experienced with three gentlemen at a local on-premise club.

Greg’s worst experience was when his previous wife experienced a violent bout of jealously while Greg was dancing with the female half of a couple they met at a nightclub. His best experience was a party at an adult motel where Greg got to play with, to completion, five different women during the course of the night.

On a trip to Southern California, Greg took Sheryl for a seaside stroll at Newport Beach. Greg drew “Greg loves Sheryl” in the sand and took a photo of it for posterity.

Sheryl has a severe case of claustrophobia (fear of enclosed places). Greg has a minor case of acrophobia (fear of heights).

Sheryl would love to go to the Carribean (again - she loves Hedonism II), but Greg, who has never left the United States, would rather stay within his country's borders and go to Alaska.

As much as Sheryl enjoyed listening to music as a youngster, she rarely learned or remembered the names of the musicians she listened to. However, Greg was absolutely fanatical about the Beatles in his youth.

We are happy that you enjoy our journal. Yes, it can be difficult for us to keep it current. We have so many other distractions going on in our lives that sometimes we can’t find one or two hours to compose a well-written essay of one of our experiences. In fact, we still haven’t finished posting everything about last summer’s Lifestyles Convention!

We enjoy the fact that total strangers read it. Greg enjoys sharing his thoughts and opinions with others (just like on the Swingers Board), and Sheryl loves being an exhibitionist. If Greg had the patience to learn how to build websites, we would probably run a site of our own.
