About the interviews

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are.
Every Thursday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked.

Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

The current person being interviewed will choose the next person. They need to first pm him or her and ask if he or she is interested, then pm me to let me know. It is preferred that you pick someone that you do not know very well as the purpose of this thread is to get to know new people. If for some reason, the next interviewee has not been chosen in time for the new interview, I will pick the next person. Location: Florida

Relationship status: Married for 22 years, together as a couple for 24 and friends since diaper age.

Swinging for how long?: Hmmm, always have a hard time with this one. We did have a threesome with a friend when we had been married for almost two years. A few years later we had a foursome with some more friends, then nothing up until...almost 5 years ago when we decided to really get into swinging.

Prefer to swing with: People We thought about animals but that was just a little to far out there even for us. Actually single men are our favorite, but we enjoy couples and single females.

Favorite food(s): Ice cream, Pizza, Mexican, Cajun...My all time favorite is Peanut Butter Cups...Ted, well he will have to get back to you on this one, he likes all kinds of things, right now he is stuck on Strawberry Cheesecake Icecream.

Biggest Pet Peeve: Will have to come back to this one, I can't really think of any right now.

Brief Intro: Well, we've been married over half our lives to each other and still would rather spend time together than with anyone else in the world. We have four children, two of which have moved out of the house so we are half way to our freedom (five more years to go). We are big NASCAR fans, but don't watch as much as we used to. We love Braves baseball. We spend a lot of time with our kids and all their activities. Basically just normal laid back people.

Hi guys!

My little one is only three so he oblivous to our activities. Does having older children make things more difficult for you to participate in the lifestyle? Have they ever suspected anything? If not how would you deal with it if they ever did ask you about it?

How did you two meet and when did you know you were meant to be together forever?

How do you prefer to meet people you swing with now? Friends, ads, clubs etc...

Have you ever had a bad experience swinging and if so how was it bad for you?

Hi Teresa and Ted!

Any time I see a man with facial hair and a ponytail I wonder what he would look like with a short haircut and a clean-shaven face.

What hairdo transitions has Ted gone through in his life...and would he consider changing his "style" anytime soon?

Teresa, you can say anything you wish about either Ted's hair or your own, but I know we women tend to make changes in our hairstyles more than the men.

Actually to us, having older children has made it easier, we have never had to look for a babysitter when we got ready to go out and party.

We both think our two older ones suspect (our best friends for over 15 years have a daughter that is the same age as our two older ones, they also swing and she knows and since all three girls are fairly close we are sure that they have discussed it between themselves) but they have never came right out and said anything to either of us. Both of the older girls talk very openly to me about sex and so far have had no problems asking anything, so they either don't want to know for sure or they are respecting our privacy. We have discussed what we would say to them and basically decided that we would just tell them that we loved them and what went on between us was between us.

Well, I can't really remember the first time we met, we were both in diapers. My earliest memory of Ted is his family had just moved back here from south Florida and we went over to see them. My mother told me and my sister to go play in the boys room and leave the adults to talk. Well, we went and can you believe all they had to play with was big old dump trucks, no dolls at all. We came back out and told mom this and she told us to take them outside and play in the dirt, so we did. Ted was 7 years old and I was 5.

I knew I was going to marry him the first day of my 7th grade year...he ran past me while I was standing in the lunch line to cut in line with his buddies and accidently knocked me on the shoulder...he turned around and said I'm sorry and at that moment I knew he was the one. He will have to answer as to when he knew I was the one.

We still do the ad route sometimes to meet people but mostly we like meeting them at clubs or socials, as well as house parties. It just makes things so much easier when you see people face to face and don't have all the hassel of doing the emailing or IMing. If they are at a club/social you kind of already know they are serious about hooking up.

We have never had a bad experience. The worse I can think of was we were having dinner with a couple we had met at a house party and then was going to a local social. We both liked them while chatting at the party, but when we got to dinner the man kept insisting that I ride with him and his wife ride with Ted to the social. I told him no, we never separate. During the meal he kept bringing it up, which was really starting to piss me off. Once we were in the car headed to the social I told Ted...Nope, we aren't going there. He just laughed and said Yep, I feel the same way.

Teresa, you mentioned when you knew he was the "One" but you never said when you started dating. Were you high school sweethearts? Or did you circulate?

I don't know if it qualifies as a date story but one night I had had a very bad day at work, the kids were driving me crazy and I was exhausted. All I wanted to do was go to bed and sleep. Once all the evenings activities were taken care of and the kids were put to bed I headed back to the bedroom to do just that. Ted was waiting for me in the bedroom and asked me to come and look at something. I really didn't want to but he insisted, so he took my hand and led me out into the courtyard. The hot tub had floating candles and rose petals floating on the water and two glasses of wine waiting. Needles to say I was not as tired as I thought I was.

The only fantasy we really have not fulfilled is a gang bang. I still am not sure it's what I want, but Ted loves the idea of it. We are working on finding just the right men to help us with it, but so far it's still just a fantasy.

He better not change it I love long hair on men.

Ted was in the Navy for the first 10 years of our marriage so he kept his hair in a flat-top. Before we were married it was always real short because that's the way his parents insisted he keep it.

As far as the facial hair, he's had the goatee for about 12 years now and has shaved it off a couple of times due to some places he had to go with his job that required he be smooth faced. I really like the goatee and so do the kids. The last time he had to shave they were shocked and flat out told him to grow it back. He looks really young without it, but still very handsome.

Other than cutting my hair (which Ted absolutely hates for me to do and I have to sneak around to have it trimmed) I have never colored it or really changed the style. I did have a spiral perm one time. My hair is naturally curly and if I want it straight I have to use the straightener on it.

I guess you could say we were high school sweethearts since we were in high school when we got married. I was 13 and Ted was 15 when we became a couple. We were friends and hung out with the same crowd (both of us were in band) and things just went from there. Note: I was 15 when we married and Ted was 17 and no I was not pregnant, we were married over two years before out first child was born.

We had always watched porn and as most things progress we just started talking about what would be cool to try, I really didn't think anything about it until one night Ted said I'm serious about finding another man for a threesome. He already had a man in mind, who was a friend of ours and he knew I was attracted to him. He invited him over one night and well the rest is history.

Our most favorite thing is reading...we love to lay in bed and hold hands and read whatever book we have at the time. Ted loves working on his old truck and I guess I love sitting and watching him because when he's working on it I have my bucket that he insists I sit on and watch

My favorite foods are listed above but Teds are: Turkey sandwiches on onion rolls. For anyone who has seen "A Christmas Story", Ted is twice as bad as the dad where turkey is concerned.
