About the interviews

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are.
Every Thursday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked.

Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

The current person being interviewed will choose the next person. They need to first pm him or her and ask if he or she is interested, then pm me to let me know. It is preferred that you pick someone that you do not know very well as the purpose of this thread is to get to know new people. If for some reason, the next interviewee has not been chosen in time for the new interview, I will pick the next person. Relationship status: Married for 7 years

Swinging for how long?: This spring but dabbled in it here and there before that. Long enough to know we don't have jealousy issues but not long enough to say we are past the newbie stage

Prefer to swing with: Couples

Favorite food(s): Steak fajitas is by far my favorite dish. But I'm a pasta lover too.

Biggest Pet Peeve: Stale food from fast food restaurants, why do I even bother. People who don't make eye contact when I'm trying to talk to them. When I can hear someone else's car stereo over my own

Brief Intro: We've been married for 10 years. I always say I would try most anything twice, have to get past the initial shock of the first time

What are your best and worst qualities ?

What made you get into swinging..who brought it up orgionally.

I'm a good listener, reliable and I know what's important in life. When I do something I go all the way with it. My worst qualities...yikes.. I'm not as patient as I used to be and I can get really irritable when things are done quickly, I think I nag a lot more than I used to too and my husband will probably be the first to agree (I'm half expecting him to post him being in agreement later on)

What made you get into swinging..who brought it up orgionally

This might sound crazy but I was married before when I was really young and a few times with friends we played around and even full swapped. Neither of us had brought it up and it was something that quickly evolved. Well when my husband and I got together I was upfront about what I had done and that I wanted someone who wasn't bothered by that. He was totally okay with it. I brought it up a long time ago and we had a couple experiences here and there. At the time though we really weren't ready for it and put it on hold not knowing if we would ever do it again. Well we've been going so strong for the past few years I brought it up again and he was completely on board with me and now we are active...as a hobby, not a lifestyle

Northwestern, quite a way from all the cool places... I'm over an hour from the closest mall. I've lived here for years though and have grown to love it.

Are you originally from MI?

I'm orginally from northern Idaho. My dad went into heart failure when he was 33 and had open heart surgery shortly thereafter. He couldn't work for the longest time and we had no way to support ourselves so we moved out here to live with my grandparents and never went back. My husband is originally from North Dakota... I moved him out here

DOesn't the weather drive you insane?

I spent two winters in North Dakota and after that I love Michigan weather. One winter it was 89 below with the wind chill and it burned to breath. That was my last winter out there and I'll take Michigan winters anytime. My husband misses the super cell thunderstorms they had out there though, he was a storm chaser and ham radio operator out there. He doesn't care for Michigan summers since it's unpredictable and too many trees to chase our silly little thunderstorms.

We have three boys. My oldest is 13 and then we have two together, 3.5 and 17 months. I was told my second was a girl when I was pregnant so I came close to having a matched set but when he popped out a boy I knew that even if I had a girl later she'd be a tomboy.

We also have 3 cats. We only wanted one but I had a couple others I wanted to rescue. We're done...no more kids, no more cats. I guess I shouldn't leave out my fish... 5 rosy barbs. I think that totally completes our family, I can't seem to talk hubby into a dog. I want a golden retriever really bad but that's just not going to happen.

I was 15 when I became pregnant with my older son... close to my 16th birthday but I was still very young. I'm most proud of being able to overcome being a young teen mom and still being able to do something with my life. I graduated high school with honors, on time. I did try a marriage with his father but we were just too young. I remarried my current husband and went to college when my son started grade school and was able to graduate nursing school with high distinction. It's been a lot of hard work and struggle but I pulled through and I'm very happy with where I am today.

What is the more embarrasing thing that your have done, or has happened to you?

Well I don't know about recently but when I was young and I bought my first vibrator I didn't think anything could top the humilation I felt that day. It was my first time in an adult store and I could hardly bring my eyes up high enough to see the shelves. I was completely embarassed in just being in there but I didn't want to be chicken either... my husband was at my side. I quickly picked out the one I wanted and brought it to the counter. As we were getting ready to pay I was babbling like an idiot, couldn't make eye contact and think I was ever breaking out into a sweat. Well I had no idea that a bad situation was about to become worse. He took it out of the package, put batteries in it and held it high above the counter for all to see...and hear that buzzing sound. I must have turned white as a ghost and I swear I wanted to faint. I swear everyone in the store was staring at me and I just wanted to crawl under the counter and die. Who knew they had to test it to make sure it worked, no returns I was told.

Well now I have no problem walking into an adult store, I even ask questions and make sure they test it before I leave! A big change 9 years can make in a person's life.

Ok, I am sitting here thinking about your trip to the toy store. It could have been worse, at the one we go to the counter guy fancies himself a real wizz as a salesman and an expert on vibrators. So when Mrs. GT takes one up to the counter he always says "you made a pretty good choice there but can I show you some better vibrators". The first time this happened Mrs. fell for it and endded up with an expensive on that only worked for a week, now she just says, no thanks, I'll take this one.

My question is, How many vibrators do you have in your toy box?

And a follow up, how many of them still work?

Oh no! I'll have to keep that in mind. I bought an overpriced one a couple weeks ago but I didn't have a choice. I could have ordered it for half the price but they were on back order for Adam and Eve. I bought one of those remote control ones, put the control in my husband's birthday card and gave it to him at a wedding reception when we were about to dance. It was worth the money but if it's broke next time around I'm gonna be mad

My question is, How many vibrators do you have in your toy box?

As of right now I have a total of 3. I like my jelly one so much that haven't wanted to replace it. Now this isn't including my new vibrating strap on that I have yet to use but I wanted to have it just in case the moment was right

And a follow up, how many of them still work?

All of them, I throw them out as they break. But to be honest they usually break because of battery corrosion. I usually feel like I don't like them because they can't feel me back

Losing my virginity at such a young age. I was 14 years old and at the time I thought I was so ready and now I look back and realize what a little girl I was. My son is so close to that age that I cringe just thinking about it. He was my boyfriend for a year and we were together until I was 19. I wasn't pressured, but it still was a poor decision.

Describe an ideal swinging encounter.

Well ideally it would be friends whom I've gotten to know and have a little bit of a connection with. We would be very comfortable with each other and everything flows naturally. We would all like the same music and get lost in great conversation where we are just hanging on each other's words. She and my husband would get lost into each other as much has her husband and I would. Also she would be very sensual and we would be in to each other as well. Being all connected somehow would be very erotic too.

Do you prefer spontaneity or well planned out adventures?

Well either is good, need some kind of planning for the kids and such but those that have happened spontaneously in the past are the ones that I think about and fantasize about over and over. It seems when it's planned there is this pressure there for something to happen so I don't mind it being more spontaneous and having that pressure removed.

What is your worst swinging experience?

Well we were with this couple and I could tell he was a little aggressive but that's wasn't a bad thing in my book. Well when it came down to being intimate he was so rough and so pushy. He was hurting me and when I told him he wouldn't stop and he threw me around like a rag doll. I literally had to get up and walk away for him to stop. He wouldn't take any cues, such as my asking for it to be little lighter or if I motioned for a different position he wouldn't move. I just wanted to yell knock it off but I didn't want to create a scene so I got up and went to the bathroom and was bleeding from him being so rough. I stayed in there for a little bit really ticked off and when I came out he had finished with his wife thank heavens. We never really got that far (he couldn't get it up) but that was fine by me, wasn't going to happen even if he could. Now I prefer non agressive men but ones that do take some initiative.

If you could be anyone else for one day, who would you be?

Ang... (j/k ) My sister. She has it made, single life, no kids, no responsibility, a ton of good friends, a great sense of style, a great sense of humor, writes beautiful poetry, and she's really easy going.

Do you have any unfulfilled fantasies? Does your husband?

I think I've fullfilled most of mine for the time being. I still want to try an on-premise club... mostly just to be in the atmosphere, not necessarily to be with strangers. We'll be going for my birthday at the end of this month if it all works out. Dave still fantasizes about being restrained and tormented by two women... one being his wife and then some other hottie.

I would volunteer to help you with your hubby but I am geographically challanged.

I think it is admirable that you were able to make such a good life for yourself under such hard circumstances.. I have all the respect in the world for single moms, it's tough enough even when you have both parents together.

Now that you have acheived your goals, what new goals have you set for yourself in the future?

What do you do with your free time (I love asking this question as I work full time and am a mom so I have no free time and love to live vicariously through others )
