It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are. Every Thursday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked. Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice. Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to. The current person being interviewed will choose the next person. They need to first pm him or her and ask if he or she is interested, then pm me to let me know. It is preferred that you pick someone that you do not know very well as the purpose of this thread is to get to know new people. If for some reason, the next interviewee has not been chosen in time for the new interview, I will pick the next person. If you would like to be added to my list of back-up interviewees, please pm me. Also, please keep in mind that any answers you post are viewable to complete strangers. There is some risk in that. Again, all questions are optional. The following are general questions asked at the start of each new interview. Question limit: Gender (if not a couple): If a couple, which one primarily posts: Age(s): Birthday(s): Location: Relationship status: Swinging for how long?: Prefer to swing with: Favorite food(s): Biggest Pet Peeve: Brief Intro: Picture: Website (your own or one of your favorites): |

I looked it up and it showed pictures of people sitting on a beach in bathing suits...then went on to talk about the really cold (IMO) weather. To me, 65º in the summer is downright freezing! Do ya'll really sit on the beach in that kind of weather? Are you from Nova Scotia? Do you like it there? What did I read? Millions of feet of snow each year? And you like that? Why would you want to live someplace so cold? (brrrrrrr) - EBF ![]() |

The beaches here are beautiful (I have been to California so I do have a comparison) and yes it does get hot in the summer. I am trying to figure out the conversions as we are metric up here.. a normal summer day is like 30 degrees Celsius, which I think translates into 86 Fahrenheit, trust me I have sunburns to prove it!! and yes we would sit in on the beach in that weather, sounds balmy to me. winter *shudder* I hate the winter, it gets cold, and man can it snow. Last February we got 3 1/2 feet of snow in one day!! THe city was shut down for four days and went into a state of emergency. (we just got hit by Hurricane Juan earlier in September and were still recovering). I am origionally from Nova Scotia and love it here. The crime rate is low, normally there aren't to many natural disasters, the people are amazingly friendly and this is where my family is, therefore so is my heart. In the fall, the scenery is breathtaking!! and I love living by the Ocean. I got a joke that always summed Canadian Weather up best for me, I will add it in a second post

As far as swinging goes...(assuming you can get places through the snow - :rollseyes )...is there much availability up there, as in clubs and stuff? Seems that there would not be - not that I know why I think that, but I do. Are you an online ad site couple, and if so, do you find many others online? - EBF ![]() |

Alas, there is not much offered up here for us swinger types. I think there is on off premises club, to which we have never been. Not that I wouldn't go but my husband would not be into that scene I don't think. So far we have only hooked up with my best friend and her husband, we had a bit of a rocky start, but have since worked out all our hang ups and problems and have been having an awesom time. Let me tell you he SHOCKED me when he agreed to my suggestion that we do this. We were camping and a game of strip poker became a little daring. I asked him later what he thought of what happened and he was cool with it, then I asked if he would be upset if things went further and he said no...WOW. I never would have expected that from him. However, I don't think that he's ready for anything outside our little circle right now, and I don't want to push him for anything he does not want. I have to ease him into this slooooowwwllyyyyy.. nothing worse than seeing a grown man run screaming from a building. I haven't really looked too much into what is avaialble yet..I'm sure there must be something....maybe I can start a club... ![]()

| Pure Evil..In a cute suit Join Date: Aug 2004 Posts: 2,497 Location: Nova Scotia Status: Couple | Vespertine: What kind of rocky start did you have? We rushed into things waaayyy too fast, and made the mistake of 'swinging' in separate rooms. Oh my what a mistake, my friends husband found he couldn't deal with that, and even I had a moment of insecurity. So we all agreed to leave things alone for a time. So in the interum (only a matter of a couple of weeks) he talked with his wife and worked out his issues quite well. We all got together for supper one night and my best friend and I had a chat, we agreed that we were not going to do anything that woudl make anyone uncomfortable and our friendship was the most important thing, therefore the speed at which we proceeded, or didn't proceed woudl be up to her husband. Well, the horny little devil!! He starts playing with his wife on my back patio!! I was shocked!! Then I was intrigued..hell then I was turned on!! Next thing you know (for the sake of the neighbour's mental health) we moved into the living room and had a great time!! So what did we learn you ask! We don't mind sharing our spouse as long as we are all in the same room. Lesson learned. Why are you described as "demented"? I have a sick sense of humor...it defies description..they really need to lock me away. I enjoy horror movies, books with serial killers.. anything dark and scary, halloween is my favorite holiday. And my husband thinks I'm cracked because I cackle uncontrollably everytme I watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. What type of things do you do in the winter? Sometimes we have a lotto to see who gets to burn the weatherman at the stake so we can all keep warm. I like to snuggle with my honey..oh hell I'll snuggle with any warm body that crawls into my bed during a snow storm. Ofcourse there is hockey..the great religion around here... I'm not much of a winter person, so that is when I catch up on my reading, and house work (I like to do it at least once a year so we can find the cat under all the dust)

| Pure Evil..In a cute suit Join Date: Aug 2004 Posts: 2,497 Location: Nova Scotia Status: Couple | Julie, It is my first marriage. I think my family thought I was never going to get married because I never had a boyfriend last more than six months. My friends made a bet with me that if I ever kept a guy around past the six month mark I had to marry him. Well hubby was the first. I guess my big problem is that I need a man who keeps me from getting bored. I am my hubby's second wife. We met at work while he was still married (I had no idea that he was married at the time) and I kept flirting with him. I remeber thinking "this guy is hot, he seems interested but never takes me up on anything,". SO time passed and then one day he said that he was going out with the guys to play pool, I indicated that I was interested (I love pool) and wanted to go, so he invited me. That is when he told me he was moving out of his house and now separated from his wife !! First time I had heard he was married!! I couldn't go that night and though..DAMN! he is never going to ask me out again!! Needless to say he did a week later. Said the guys were all going out to play pool. WHen I got there it was just me and him (slick isn't he).We NEVER spoke to swinging before our little card game. I had my fantasies, but kept them to myself because I didn't think he was game to it and didn't want to upset him. I love my husband and would NEVER even consider cheating on him, so I just left it to my twisted little mind. I was pleasantly surprised by his openess, and he was thrilled to have such a fun wife....now he was able to live out his fantasies too!

With you and your husband, would you say that you are two of a kind, total opposites, or somewhere in between? What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? And, for curiosity's sake, did you discuss swinging in seperate rooms before the first experience, or did it just kinda happen?

| Pure Evil..In a cute suit Join Date: Aug 2004 Posts: 2,497 Location: Nova Scotia Status: Couple | Pepper and Drew: Let's see...My husband and I are probably in the in between category. While we do have similar interests (except for the shrine to Nascar he has erected in the basement :rollseyes ) I am the poster girl for patience (all evil plans come to pass if you are willing to wait) and he is the most impatient freak I have ever met. I think we balance each other out. We do however have the same sense of humor (twisted). He called me at the office today and let me know he ran into my friends husband (the one we swing with), after he was done talking to him the guys he was working with asked him who he was...Mr. Evil snickered into the phone "I was tempted to tell them he was my wife's boyfriend." I chortled for an hour after that one. The weekend you ask...well most of the time I am entertaining a three year old. Mommy's work is never done. We do a lot of stuff, camping, trail walking, visiting relatives and friends. Gardening, going to the beach...we try to pack a lot into the weekends to make up for all the time we miss during the week. Unfortunately we are both unable to sit still for long periods of time without going buggy..gotta move..gotta move!! And then there is the running of the evil empire, that takes a lot of planning. "And, for curiosity's sake, did you discuss swinging in seperate rooms before the first experience, or did it just kinda happen?" Actually this was discussed. The guys didn't they would be comfortable with us in the same room and were worried they would have 'performance anxiety'. Oddly as it turned out it was the other way around, we were all much more comfortable in the same room, and all systems were go -equpiment wise ![]()

I used to know a New Yorker who used the word all the time, even after I explained to him that he meant "regardless" or "irrespective." Sigh. :rollseyes Do you ever correct people? I once knew a lady from Nova Scotia when I was living in Spain. She was a beautiful, fun-loving lady. She swore a lot for a teacher. Is that a common Canadian trait? How do y'all earn a living under all that snow? Mr. Alura

| Pure Evil..In a cute suit Join Date: Aug 2004 Posts: 2,497 Location: Nova Scotia Status: Couple | My boss uses the term Irregardless all the time and it grates my nerves. He just ignores it when I sent little death glares his way. I'd correct him but he just threatens a pretty pink slip..ha ha Okay, I am sure I am breaking some sort of Canadian code letting you in on our secrets, but oh well.. Yes we do swear a lot. So much for the polite Canadian sterotype. I use the F word as a verb, adverb, noun, pronoun, what ever it fits..he he. Although since the arrival of the little evil spawn I have had to control my language somewhat. It's in our genetic coding..goes with love of hockey and really strong beer. How do we earn a living under the snow...he he...my husband drives a snow plow in the winter.... . The rest of the year he is a landscaper. I work for the same landscape company, but in the office, telling men what to do all day. (I love my job!!) and if it turns anyone on I can speak plant latin. It makes for some long hours but oh well
