About the interviews

Swingers Board interviews are a way for us to get to know each other better. It is a way to acknowledge just how wonderfully varied a community we are.
Every Thursday, a new interview will start and the old interview will be locked.

Every SwingersBoard member is allowed to ask the amount of questions specified by the interviewee in the answers to the default questions. If they discover that they chose too high or low a limit, they may change their choice.

Try to keep this thread about the person being interviewed. If you want to comment about things you discover you have in common or just elaborate on a response, pm them and make a new friend or start a new thread about it. This is intended to be a friendly thread, so please don’t ask anything in a purposeful attempt to get a heated debate. Of course, nobody is required to answer a question that they do not want to.

The current person being interviewed will choose the next person. They need to first pm him or her and ask if he or she is interested, then pm me to let me know. It is preferred that you pick someone that you do not know very well as the purpose of this thread is to get to know new people. If for some reason, the next interviewee has not been chosen in time for the new interview, I will pick the next person. If you would like to be added to my list of back-up interviewees, please pm me.

Well, I think it is only fitting that I start this off by first saying thanks to Pepper&Drew for agreeing to be the next in the Spotlight...

I'd like to know...do either of you have any special talents that you're proud of?

Do either of you collect anything?

Swinging for how long?: Well, we had our first experience a little over a year ago, but have gotten more "into things" in the last 4 or 5 months.

Prefer to swing with: Geez, you want names? Kidding! We've had an experience with a single male, but I prefer couples. And, of course, Drew wants to experience the MFF experience, but who doesn't?

Favorite food(s): Pie! Apple, sweet potato, bring it on!

Biggest Pet Peeve: People that drive slow in the passing lane. Or, people who assume you have a certain political affiliation and therefore it's ok for them to spout their own political ideas to you ad nauseum.

Brief Intro: We've been married for 5 years and have 3 wonderful, furry children. Cats, that is. No human children. We love to travel and entertain. I'm a gym rat and Drew goes, although I wouldn't say he ENJOYS it. We're gearing up for football season (in AL, football is EVERYTHING). I love to garden and decorate; Drew likes to cook.

I have a nice voice. I've sung since I was a child and all through high school, and now, I just sing at karaoke. I do a pretty mean "Proud Mary"...booty shakin' and all.

Do either of you collect anything?

We love antiques, although now we can't buy anything else because we have no more room. Antique furniture is made sooo much better and costs virtually the same as the particle board, veneered new stuff available.

Yeah, they make you declare as you cross the state line!

We're really Florida Gators, but since Steve Spurrier left, we've waned a bit. But, since so many of my friends went to school there, and I've been to so many of the games, Auburn comes in a close second. So......WWAAAAARRRR EEEAAAGGLLEE!!!

There's nothing like going to an Auburn football game and seeing the Tiger, the eagle, fly. Lately, when we've been to games, Tiger has been sick, so Spirit, the same bald eagle that flew at the Atlanta games, flew. If you've never seen a bald eagle fly, it is AMAZING. They are magnificant animals. I'm getting chill bumbs just thinking about it.

It probably would be faster to mention what kind of music I don't like! I like everything from hip-hop to Motown to current Top 40 to showtunes. I love the Temptations, the Dave Matthews Band, Evanescence, White Stripes, Beyonce...I could go on....About the only thing I don't like is country. Boy, do I live in the right place for that!

Who does the cooking and whats your specialty?

When we first got married, Drew did all the cooking. Now, we split the duties. My specialties are any of the "southern favorites". Okra, mustard greens, fried chicken. Ya know...all the stuff that will kill ya. Oh, and I do really good baked chicken and fajitas.

I'm from Alabama, but I spent some time in Florida while I was in college. Drew is from Florida, and came to Alabama to go to school. Funny how things work out like that. Because everybody is either Alabama or Auburn here, when we first met, we bonded over our UF Gator connection. Romantic, eh? We bonded over football

Nothing wrong with that. Mr. O and I bonded over our combined love of the College football.. Gooooooooooooo BUCKS!!! and NASCAR. I swear, other than that we are as different as daylight and dark and our relationship works beautifully.

Hmmmm....I think I have more zingers, but Drew's not too shabby. He can certainly keep up. His good ones are REALLY good ones. Both of us are BIG TIME talkers. That was one of the things that I really liked about Drew when we met. Unlike some men, he has NO PROBLEM communicating.

See, we don't own any sex toys, cuz that would be naughty. (I don't look good in prison stripes) We have NOVELTY ITEMS. I'm really into glass toys, ahem.... items, right now. The ones made of pyrex. You can chill them, you can run them under hot water and make them hot. Hell, you can sterilize them by boiling them for 2 minutes. My absolute favorite is one called the g-spotter. It's a definite toe-curler.

I may be the only girl in the south that will admit this, but I hate grits. I hate the texture and they don't taste like anything unless you put butter or cheese on them. Why waste the calories? (As Pepper is escorted to the state line and shoved out of the state) I haven't had grits since I was about 8 or 9. Drew likes them, so he gets the individual packets of the instant grits. I'm not big on any breakfast food really, so I might not be the right one to ask...
