Nope. No nail bitting, thumb sucking, hair pulling or compulsive hand washing. I briefly smoked in college, but I don't do that anymore.

What is your favorite board game?

I'm trying to remember the last time I played a board game. I like card games, though. I love Uno and I like dominoes too.

Coke or Pepsi?

If you ask anybody in the South, you'll probably get the same answer. Coke! In fact, here, we call everything a coke. You may want a Sprite, but you ask if they sell cokes. If someone asks for a pop, someone may look at you funny.

If you could be an animal, what animal would you like to be?

A cat. A domesticated, don't-bother-me-cuz-I'm-napping, don't want to get my paws wet, kitty. I purr already anyway.

Is the glass half full or half empty?

Half full most of the time, but I'm not the eternal optimist. I have my realistic side too.

What do you think of roller coasters?

I LOVE ROLLERCOASTERS!!! I'm chomping at the bit to go back to Six Flags in Atlanta. Weeeeeee!!

If you could open your own swing club, what would you call it?

Another toughie!!! How about No Nuts? It could be a club where you had to pass an are-you-a-total-nut test before you could come into the club. Either that, or it could be an all girl club. Kinda a double-ententre (sp--too lazy to look it up).

If you could swing with a celebrity couple, who would you swing with?

Ohhhhhhh...can Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thorton get back together just for me? Angelina for obvious reasons, Billy Bob because I can't put my finger on it, but I think he is great in bed.

This is Drew and yes I do exist. I came to Alabama for school as Pepper said, but I was visiting a friend that lived in the area and found a flight school. I thought that sounded like a fun thing to do, so I move here and was flying an airplane one month later.

Pepper hit our feelings right on the head there, but I just wanted to add some of my feelings about the subject that she didn't touch on. Since I was adopted as an infant, I have always wanted to give the same good fortune to another little child. If we ever decide (together) to have children I would like to adopt one. The only thing that bothers me about adoption today is the fact that the courts seem to think it is a good thing to take a child away from adoptive parents after they have raised there children for a few years and give them back to a biological parent they have never known. That is a travisty IMHO. I couldn't imagine that happening to me when I was a child. Off my soapbox now.

I just want to add to that a little. I think in the beginning her quote was true, but I think that our taste is becoming more and more similar. I catch her saying (every once in a while) hey isn't she cute, and the girl will be petite and blonde. For myself I do like blondes, but you try growing up in FL in the 70's and 80's that is all you saw, so it stands to reason I would like blondes. The cause could be that the swinging experience is so much better when both people are attracted to some one that our tastes are melding together. Does that make any since?

In the BDSM world, there is what there is called Sub Space. It's difficult to explain, but it is a complete euphoric state. It's a concentrated mindset. It's what I imagine being hypnotized is like. So, that part is pretty cool, but coming out of that is an extremely emotional and vunerable thing. It is extrememly deep, and that total and complete loss of control was extremely scary and uncomfortable to me. So.....we are no longer pursuing any BDSM activities. Tap! I like water at room temperature. If it's too cold it hurts. And I'm so cold natured that cold water makes ME cold. And besides, sometimes bottled water tastes like the bottle.

This one makes me laugh. My mother-in-law has satin sheets on her guest bed and she always changes them out when we come to visit. Having your sheets slip and slide off of you during the night is no fun. Cotton, please. And, the higher the thread count, the better!

Since you like to travel, what are some of your favorite places to go?

We love New Orleans. That city has such history and character. I love the architecture, we love the food, we love the music. We've always said if we win the lottery, and perhaps even if we don't, we'd love to own a little apartment in the French Quarter, somewhere around Royal St, or Dumaine, or maybe even Iberville. We don't generally go to Bourbon St. As for out of the country, we like Jamaica. We're already planning our next trip.

Any of the above. Since Drew is from Florida, he's all about the water.

Do you like camping? If so...tent or camper?

One of the comedians in Last Comic Standing said it best. 'Why would I want to go out and pretend I'm homeless?' I completely agree. I like being outdoors, but I also like being able to sleep in a bed that's up off the ground. And plug in a curling iron.

Favorite T.V. shows?

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I watch A LOT of TV. I like Six Feet Under on HBO because it's just so dang weird. We also love the Sopranos, although we won't get to see it again until 2005. We watch a lot of Law and Order and Law and Order SVU. I used to really love ER, although it's not the same anymore. I can't wait for Father of the Pride, the new animated series on NBC to start. Oh, and I like Queer as Folk and Family Business on Showtime. Family Business is about Seymore Butts (Adam something is his real name) and the porn business his mom and cousin help him run. It's so funny because even though the business is porn, it might as well be something more mundane that they're selling. There's problems with the equipment, problems with employees, problems with shipping, just like with every other business. It's been very enlightening to watch.

I have a filter in my fridge, so I guess I drink filtered tap. I typically buy a one liter bottle of water about 2-3 weeks and then just refill it out of the fridge until I decide to replace the bottle. Like you I don't really like it when it's cold tho. I typically fill the bottle then let it sit out a bit before I really start drinking it. Although if I'm thirsty I will drink it fresh.

Do you have a particular vessel out of which you drink your water? Or do you just grab whatever glass is clean?

I grab one of my cups to drink water out of and I get it straight from the faucet. Drew always drinks out of the glasses and I have "my" cups. We have a jug of water in the fridge, but my refridgerator freezes stuff, so the water is SUPER cold. Far to cold for me. Drew's the only one that drinks it from the jug.

Personally, I'm an Ozarka water person myself, and I bet if you lived here, you would be, too. Awful water...hits my stomach with a big "thud." Anyway...moving right along...

Have you enjoyed being in the spotlight this week? What have you enjoyed most about it? Anything you haven't enjoyed and if so, why? I very much appreciate your willingness to be in the spotlight and especially since ya'll were fairly new to the board (although I have to wonder about anyone that doesn't like grits! Strange people out there! ) Do you think it has helped you "make friends and influence people?" Who said that? Dale Carnegie? Oh well, you know what I mean...

When ya'll entertain friends in your home - swingers or otherwise - what do you do to entertain? Casual, parties, small group parties, cook, cook out on grill? That sort of thing. - EBF
