My absolute favorite book is "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote. I love it because it is so well put together as a novel, but it's not fiction--this family was really murdered in Kansas in the 1950's. It's seamless. My favorite book that I'm ashamed to admit that I've read is the whole "Flowers in the Attic" series by VC Andrews. The original "Flowers" was really good. As far as the classics go, it's a tie: "The Good Earth" by Pearl S Buck or "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck. Ohhh...and the best book I've read lately is "Stones from the River"...I don't know the author. Who would've thought a book about a dwarf girl living in Germany during WWII would be so facinating. Did I mention I love to read? Quote:

A journal and pen. (Can that be counted together?) I've got a book in me, I tell you, and then I'd have all the free time in the world to write it.Quote:

My husband and I are a Capricorn/Gemini duo too! (We get along fabulously!) I don't believe in any of that astrological stuff - except for the part about Gemini's having alter egos! Do you have an evil Gemini inner-twin like my husband? How did you two meet? What's your idea of a romantic evening? If you could go anywhere in the world and do anything you wanted, where would you go and what would you do?

) I have my moments. Although, I'm mellowing with age. My best friend, who is getting her doctorate in psychology says that I'm the most stable, well adjusted person she knows. Which is both a great compliment and REALLY scary, all at the same time.Quote:

Loved hearing you like mustard greens...we do too. facelick What's your favorite way to eat greens? Do you eat greens for breakfast with eggs and red peppers by chance? Since you don't like grits, what is your opinion of corn bread or polenta? What is your favorite wine, beer, or mixed drink? When you go out for a night on the town do you come in before or after midnight? LM |

I hate em. As you are a FL fan, I'm guessing you live down in LA? Have you guys always lived in AL? Why on earth would you choose Auburn over AL? Orange is my favorite color but even at that I would never be caught dead wearing the orange and blue. I'd wear TN colors first (then again I practically live on the state line so I can get away with it). |

I'm laughing because we are the youngest old people I know, or the oldest young people. We don't really go out a lot, and when we do, unless there's something special going on, we are home, in bed, and actually sleeping by midnight.

Ok, you dodged my question on whether or not you have always lived in AL. Have either of you ever lived in any other states? If so, which ones? I agree with you on the ups of AL. You really can't beat the cost of living here. The house I live in would go for 3 times as much as I paid for it if I was still in MI. | |

What kind, how old, personalities...all that stuff. Describe in detail, please. Do ya'll plan to have the 2-legged variety of kids in the future? If so, how many do you think you want, and if not, why not? If not, was it a hard decision to come to? Family pressures to have kids? That sorta stuff... Thanks! -EBF ![]() |
