Well, WR says I'm STILL naive, but she tells me lies about myself!

What has been your best experiance swinging?
I haven't actually had that many experiences. What I have had have been rather long term relationships. However, I would have to say the first was the best simply because it was spontaneous and with people I truly cared about and truly cared about me. It was a one time event, but we were able to maintain our friendship afterwards. That was good.

How do you most often meet couples?
Those that I have met have been from ad sites.

what is your favorite brand of chips?
Baked Dorito tortillas. I figure I save calories with the baked brand considering I'll eat an entire stick of margarine with them. I have to admit to laying off the chips and butter here lately. My cholesterol was 10 points too high and Doc blamed it on the butter. Go figure.

In your opinion, is milk better plain or with chocolate?
I love chocolate, but milk? Plain is best. And believe it or not...I love skim milk. (Makes up for the chips and butter!)

Thank you. I appreciate those comments. I'm here so much - and so opinionated at times, that knowing that people enjoy my posts makes me feel good. - EBF

Yep, 'cept I don't have a hubby to do the butt kicking. Makes me recall...about a year ago, a man let his big German Shepherd run free and the dog tried to attack my two. Man...I took my two home and headed back over there...thought more about it...came back and went to get my REALLY, REALLY, REALLY big neighbor to go with me. The REALLY big guy wasn't home so I went back by myself. Fortunately, he wasn't home. Or just didn't answer the door. Yep...attitude can get you in trouble. - EBF

Oh my gosh! I'd drive myself bonkers trying to figure out what I was going to wish for and the genie would grow old and die. Buttttt....let me see.

The first would be to have true happiness and inner peace always.

The second would be financial security and to be able to do the type of work I really enjoy. (But of course, if I had #2, #1 would probably follow. So maybe #2 should be #1, then I could skip number what would then be #2 - leaving me with two more wishes. See what I mean by going bonkers?)

The third would be to find someone to fall madly and passionately in love with and have the feelings returned.

(Now ya'll didn't think you'd get those sort of answers out of me, did you?)

I'm an artificial blonde and actually, here lately, I've had it done more brownish with blonde highlights. Everyone seems to like it.

As for blondes having more fun...in my case the alternative would be an ugly, ugly grey. So yes, I would definitely have to say blondes have more fun! At least more fun than ugly grey. Yuck!

I totally admire you... you have given some of the most sound advice I've ever heard, If you weren't nearly 5 years younger than me I would say I want to be you when I grow up We do have another thing in common, we're both Libras (mine's sept 28th)

How old were you when you had your first kiss and is it a fond memory?

What is your idea of an evening of relaxation?

Do you have close friends or are you more of a loner?

What is your favorite season and why?

If you were stranded on an island, what would be the one thing you would miss the most?

Well thank you! What a nice compliment! But you do know, I hope, that we are joking about me being 25. Please do not tell anyone, not a soul... but the truth is...I'll be 55 in September. Just gotta deal with it...
As for being Libras...their pretty nice people, aren't they? But I bet you understand that thing about everything having to have balance. And aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Are you like that, too?

Quote:

I really don't remember my first kiss - maybe because I was traumatized by this event. 5th grade. Walking home from school and my "boyfriend" was holding my hand. We were in love you know. And my parents pulled up in the car. I nearly stroked. They teased me unmercifully about that - for years!

Quote:
What is your idea of an evening of relaxation?
Very seasonal. Summer? I love to go out to the pool late in the evening and just float on my raft - looking up at the sky. Winter? Piled up on the couch with a fire in the fireplace, bundled up in my down-filled afgan, reading and dozing.
With friends? Just sitting around talking, laughing, eating...nothing really special.

Quote:
Do you have close friends or are you more of a loner?
Quick! What would be your guess? I'd have to say more of a loner. The friends I have are really very close friends - more along the line of family. Although I never meet a stranger and have tons of aquaintances, I'm not the type to have casual-type friends. I invest a lot in those that are my friend, and I guess I just don't have much left over for others.

Quote:

People. Most definitely. Almost contradicts the above answer, doesn't it?

Oops! I left this one out! But it's an easy answer. Spring. I love Spring. I come alive in Spring. It's beautiful, things are green, people are outside, windows are open, the days start getting longer, sunshine, pretty clothes. It's almost like reuniting with the world. Spring followed by Summer.

You didn't ask, but I'll say...I hate Winter. Just hate it. And I don't like Fall because that means that Winter is almost here.

What!?

Chips and butter?

Is it good? How do you eat it? Do you melt the butter?
Is this a common snack in Texas?

I've never heard of it--- Would never have thought of it!
But of course everything's better with butter!
I put it on everything....never thought of chips...Hmm...

Ummm....good! OK...special technique has to be followed for complete enjoyment. Cold, cold butter (actually margarine - I Can't Believe It's Not Butter)...you really need two butter dishes. One to use and one in the fridge keeping cold. Take the entire bag of Dorito Baked Tortilla Chips, along with the butter and a dish towel to your desk. Sort of prop your legs up on your desk so that you are in a semi-lying position. Place dish towel across your chest to catch crumbs. Place the butter dish on your lower abdomen - at the V-shaped area as your legs are propped up. Scraped the tortilla chip across the cold butter - achieving a perfect curl of butter on the chip. Pop into your mouth. When the butter gets soft, replace it with the stand-by in the fridge. Really - the baked chips are good. More corn tasting to me.

Lot's of the Tex-Mex restaurants around here serve butter with chips - along with salsa. On regular chips (not baked) it is best if the chips are warm.

!!!!

Thank you for the literal reply to my question!

Oh, you are too funny.
I assure you I will assume proper posture when I try this snack in the near future.

You are going for a walk in the woods. What kind of day is it?

Mrs. Alura

I know you've lived in places other than Texas. Please list them.

Are you a native-born Texan?

Well, the odds of me walking in the woods are rather slim considering I'm afraid of bugs and the idea of one getting on me is about more than I can handle. But, if for some strange reason I decided to walk in the woods, it would be a vividly bright sun- shiny day without a cloud in the sky. (In hopes that I could see all bugs and take appropriate offensive actions. Shoot. I spent an hour in here yesterday trying to murder a fly.) The only time I've ever given thought to going into the woods was the night the coyotes tried to attack my dogs. Then the mother part of me came out. (and I won.)[quote]

No, I'm not a native-born Texan, but I should have been.
As for where I've lived...keep in mind, I was an Air Force brat, so, in order...
Mississippi (several times)
Florida
Illinois
Georgia (several times)
Japan
Alabama
(I kind of settled in Georgia)
Ohio
TEXAS!!!

You spent time in Ohio....Cool!!

So glad you are being interviewed, I always enjoy your posts and now I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on to come up with some good questions for you

What is your favorite color?

If you could buy any kind of car what would you get?

If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world where would you go and why?

What is your fondest childhood memory?

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10?

Do you have children?

Describe the perfect date.

Ginger or Mary Ann?

M&Ms Plain or Peanut?

What is your favorite adult beverage?

Favorite TV Show?

More later, D

Hey EBF, as almost everyone here I also find your posts always well thought out and right on the money.

My question, since your replies are always that good, how long do you spend on a reply? Do you write responses off the cuff or do you research them before giving an answer... And do you just write it out and post, or read through it a couple of times?

Oh yeah, by the way you were going on I thought you were 80... 55 isn't old by most people's standards... I've been flirting with a 59 year old lady for some time now, sadly, she don't have a partner to share, and we only play with couples at the moment...

Looking forward to many more of your brilliant posts... And Julie, maybe that ask EBF section isn't such a bad idea...
