Mike, I don't think it is as rare as it appears. What is rare is that a man will openly express their curiousity or desires in an ad. It is considered taboo to express male to male interest, and an assest to express female to female interest. Every couple that we met with stated that the male half was "straight". We have met two couples and had dinner with them in which the male halves expressed an outright curiosity, one of which the female half was straight. I don't think you can guage it just by ads (if that is what you are doing). Your best bet is just to meet people that are overall compatible and see where it goes from there.
