My understanding is that there is a LOT of preparation in the porno movies.

1. They use an enema or similar.
2. They then clean with soap and water thoroughly in the shower.

Beyond simply cleaning out the orifice properly prior to sex, should eliminate MOST of the issue.

The advice I got from a porn star was to get in the tub and use an enima over and over again until you are nice and squeaky clean. ( Kinda like douching many times. ) Then you will not have that brown sludge or the odor, and there is no strange taste from perfume or deodorant. the problem is you can't do it too far in advance. I don't think that the original poster of this thread was concerned about the smell of her anus just during, or for anal intercourse. She may be worried about it when she is on top of a partner during the "69" position. I was able to smell a girlfriend's ass quite a bit while 69'ing with her once.

Personally, I think that the smell of a woman's ass is part of the smell of sex. In other words, I like the smell of a woman's pussy, and I figure that about 20% of that smell comes from her ass crack too. I've only found it unpleasant once in my life. If we are just playing we will make sure we shower shortly before with Dial.

If we are considering anal, about two hours ahead, we will use a rubber syringe to give ourselves an enema and clean ourselves out about three times, then shower as above.

Even then, we always use condoms, and after anal the guy must wash up and change his condom and she always washes. Absolutely no anal to vaginal moves.

I still think that people are miss understanding the original poster just a little. I think the OP was worried more about the smell of her rosebud and her ass crack, for example, and not specifically speaking about cleaning out for anal sex.

Sometimes a woman's ass crack has an odor that is noticable during other kinds of sex. It isn't necessarily a turn-off. Most of the time it just "is". Just like the smell of pine needles in a piney woods area.
