mirrors on the ceiling

I was mentioning to the wife that i would be interested in putting a small camera on the ceiling above the bed in lieu of a mirror. it would connect to the flatscreen on the wall and be less noticeable to our "square" guests.

Who has mirrors on their ceiling and how hot is it?

We have played at locations with mirrors on the ceiling, as well as mirrors at the headboard.

The ceiling mirrors weren't technically mirrors, but were made of something safer (a film of some type?), so that should it fall, we wouldn't be dead.

Both the ceiling and headboard mirrors were cool though.

The group room at Trapeze Atlanta has a mirrored ceiling. I have had a woman riding me while I watched Ms Dive get fucked on the other end of the 30 person bed. Yup, mirrors are fun

Rewind to the yeat 1975; location, Denver, Colorado. Going only on my memory of it but some enterprising person remodeled an old motor lodge and installed a closed-circuit television system that showed a different porno movie on each channel. For an extra charge you could sign-up for the channels that were hooked into cameras in other people's rooms (don't know if the room cameras were in the ceiling). The people who volunteered to perform for their room's camera got a big dioscount on their room rent.

This sure sounds interesting. Wonder how many places have had something similar... With or without the knowledge or permission of the participants.

I remember when my very straight and non-swinging, first wife, happened to see our image in a mirror that happened to be on the floor near where we were having a fun time. It actually turned her on even more. A very nice and fun surprise. Had another fun time later, at a local motel where they had mirrors attached to the sliding doors on the closet, next to the bed. Great idea... Sadly, the motel was sold to a big chain and the mirrors went away. The earlier owner was an Australian company, who were clearly more open minded.

We've played places with mirrors on the ceiling which is pretty awesome... I agree with other posters that it is amazing for the enhanced ability to watch/connect with your SO who may be across the room or just in a separate pile on the same bed. My main concerns about the camera would be that there could be a lag between what the camera is picking up and when it is shown on the screen AND depending on what angle you have it set up at and where it is located it may not catch all of the action whereas a large mirror would be able to reflect MOST things in the room.
