I've recently developed a vanilla "friends with benefits" relationship with the woman who lives in the apartment across the hall from me. The other night we were getting down to it, and I asked her to leave her thigh-high stockings and heels on during sex. After about three minutes, she said, "this is too distracting" and got off the bed to remove them, along with her necklace. It turns out that she's not comfortable having sex unless she's totally, totally naked.

I'm cool with that, but coming from a previous life where my wife and lover and I (as well as our three combined kids) went nude a lot of the time, we actually put ON clothes when it came time for romance (well, the girls did). Lacy bras, corsets, garters, sexy swimsuits and slinky little stripper dresses were an important part of our sexual encounters, and they normally stayed on (at least partially, in some way or another) right through the bangin'.

Anna, one third of my previous poly triangle, had an abdominal scar and a little bit of a belly fold she was self-concious about, so she nearly always wore some sort of teddy, boustier or one-piece swimsuit during sex. She said it made her feel sexier and more desirable.

My wife and I have always played totally nude, both when it is just the two of us alone and also when we are playing with others. When either of us is playing with someone, the clothes fly off very quickly.

I guess there have been some exceptions when my wife was out on some errand with my best friend and they decided on a quickie, particularly when they had the quickie someplace outdoors where there was a chance someone might come by.

Mr here.....I can take it either way. Mrs likes being nude but has learned the sexiness of thigh highs and heels or boots, as well as the occasional thong to pull aside as a previous poster mentioned. Its either that or totally nude. One thing I personally can't stand is SOCKS! I am always happy to warm up her feet if she is cold.

We both prefer no clothes, although at passionate times or quickies in various locations some clothes work well too. In the bed we are always nude, but in other locations it varies.

Skirts with no panties are an excellent example.
