Exquisite Torture -- Lust Delayed / Denied

Can we talk about the exquisite torture of lust delayed or denied? (I'm not referring to orgasm denial, which is a whole 'nuther thing and a considerable kink in itself.)

Lately I've become overwhelmed by lust for a particular person -- someone who, earlier, came on to me. So, someone who is sexually available.

When John and I make love, this lust rises in me like a wild beast. When we come, the lust is abated, but only a little. In the background it purrs. When we play with others, it purrs. And it stays with me.

But that lust! It's amazing. I want to fulfill that lust, but I don't want the feeling to go away either. I'm not worried that once consummated I'll lose interest, that's not my nature. But this extreme lust. It's such exquisite torture. How long should I let it wash over me? How long can I toy with it?

Any comments, forum-mates, on the business of relishing your lust before you fulfill it? Or of teasing yourself, by holding off fulfillment?

Mrs and I went celibate for the three months prior to our wedding.

The cruise ship was rocking on our honeymoon. That wasn't quite they same because we did pleasure each other, just no intercourse.

We've done this at times... tease ourselves into a frenzy, all knowing we won't finish the job until much later, but that would be 12 hours later.
