I (the guy half) am having trouble believing this poll and other polls like them.

First let me say that I am not gay or bi but I do have penis envy. Like most guys I would love to be 9" x 6" but, sad to say, I'm not. I am 6.75" normal hard and 7" raging hard so I, of course, answered the poll 7".

My problem with this poll and the others is that MOST of the guys that I have seen naked are as large or larger than me and I have probably seen at least twenty guys.

Also when the Boss (Blondie) and I first started dating a couple of years ago I asked her about previous relationships and their size in relation to me. She had been with four other guys and of them I found that her ex was 8 1/2 and another guy she had been with was 8 1/2 and only one of the guys that she had been with was smaller than me at 7"..... So statistically speaking, either she won the lotto or these polls are wrong.

I think this poll is very accurate. I've seen porn fllicks where the guys are always eight inches or larger. Therefore, I always thought that I am average in size, and I'm a true seven inches. But I recently read from a fairly authoritative survey that the average erect penis is actually just shy of six inches. That explains why, when I have been sexual with someone new, they usually express surprise at my size. Sure, it would be nice to have another inch or two, but given the fact that I usually hit bottom when having sex with someone, I have become very satisfied with how I am endowed.

One more thing. I've heard people say that guys who are tall with big hands and feet are always very well hung. Some may be. But over the years, at various health clubs that I've been a member of, without exception, the longest and thickest flaccid penises have been attached to men who were slightly built and less than 5'8". The tall guys have only been average in size, at best. That's just from observing...not from touching!!

I'm going to second that last comment, my man is 5'6 and though i haven't actually measured him i know there are times when he makes me gasp ... he say 61/2 but i think longer, not thick, but long. So, don't go with the hand, foot size ... it definitely doesn't work. But I'm gonna go with, and i know it will cause a riot here, the ethnic thing. Well, I am 5' 7" and as I said, I'm 7" when fully functional and have a fairly athletic physique if I do say so myself.... so I don't LOOK bad as a package.... but still have penis envy. I'ts a "shortcomming" of mine. Badah Boom!

I think a guy's perception that he is smaller is just that, perception. There have been times that my wife has said, "his was smaller than yours", when I thought his was at least as big, if not bigger. In other words, ours looks smaller to us from our viewpoint, and theirs look bigger from our viewpoint. Don't know if that makes sense, but hopefully you catch what i am saying. BTW, 6.5 here. I think for the most part people are hung up on penis length. I think a more accurate way to size the equipment would be to take length * circumference.
Just like when I buy a pair of jeans i want to know the waist size and the length of the cut.

Yea I don't know about that whole shoe/hand/height thing. I'm like barely 5'8" - 5'9" slender/athletic and I'm about 8 to 8.5" and nearly as thick as my wrist (granted I don't have "popeye" arms). The only complaining I get is that she would always like more sex or on the occassion that I hit bottom (she says it feels like its close to her stomach).

Still though, even then I myself on the occassion run into a larger penis in locker rooms etc. felt as if I'd like a larger member. Now there are of course "size queens" - but truth be told men are the biggest size queens ever! And to be honest it'd be much easier with a larger penis to stimulate and reach certain parts of the vagina and is probably more stimulating for her visually (if the guy knows what he's doing) - but the thing is women more often seem to prefer girth to length. Us men get caught up in the "who's stick is longer game" when we should be thinking like the Grand -Am commercial "wider is better". Not that you can change that either...but you can definitely *compensate* during lovemaking more for girth than you could for length (i.e. gently inserting a lubricated finger or two to the upper wall of her vagina to stimulate her g-spot). A guy could have the perfect penis in the world...but if he didn't know how to be a good lover its not going to do him much good.

I think a flaw for us men is we vest too much of our sexuality in our organ...and this is coming from a guy of pretty decent endowment. We sometimes seriously sabotage sex because of our insecurities with our bodies, and often its not even that serious. Seriously - that is a turn-off for some women. They don't want you focusing on your cock so much that you start doubting your abilities romantically/sexually with them. Women tend to like men who are confident and exude a sort of sexual prowess whether they have 5" or 12", and truthfully if you know how to please your woman you have probably 120 cubic feet of other flesh to use to your advantage *especially your tongue*. Now having an absurdly small penis may not fly too well...but all in all women want to know your attention is on pleasing them...and that means by "any means necessary".

I dunno guys...My hubby has quite the package and it has not been the blessing you guys might think it would be. His length and girth have scared off potential playmates and have caused some of the guys we had hoped to play with to get jealous and back off. Too bad too because I can enjoy a 9" or less penis with complete relaxation without worrying about getting hurt. My husband is more than enough for me I actually measured him as a joke one time from soft to hard. Soft 2.1/2 in Large 8 in. More than enough for me. However as for woman I hope there penis size is 0.

Im like TexasBlondie I have a definate case of penis envy as well. I am 34 yrs old and have never put a tape measure on it, but I am interested enough that I measured across my palm before....So 4.25" palm width multiplied by 2 palms plus a little head sticking out just above left hand = 8.50 to 9" or so. But like I said, I have such a bad hang up on the whole penis size deal I dont think I'll ever "officially" have it callibrated.
