Well let me start off by saying this one has too be one of the most elusive topics... Ever think about it you and your other on vacation for a week you travel you relax sure you do all that but what about the sex....its great isnt it . i mean you connect you talk you cuddle you say stuff that you normaly would not say ( bear with me im not a romatic all time reality sets in ). when you hit the sheets in a hotel you are like superman and superwomen....its seems the lovemaking lasts for ever. You make love in the morning ,you make love outside, hell you act like love struck teenagers..i wonder and here is the question..do you and your spouse( single guys you answear too) make love more on vacations,holidays ,days off or other..let us know.

Well, as a single guy, I am not sure I have any more sex (probably not) but I do know that I like the fact that I get to go prowl new places and see new things. Something about the freedom of being away make you more adventurous....

We most definitely do. When we are on vacation, there are no phones ringing, no laundry to do, meals to cook, rooms to clean up. All the reality of everyday life is behind us for a short period of time and we can relaxe. This gives us time to refocus on each other. I personally think we should all vacation every other week!

Definitely true! There is just something about a hotel room . The air conditioners are cooler, the sheets are crisper. I love to curl up in those beds. No kids, no worries, no place to be. Plus you don't even have to make your bed whenyou are through. Maid service, I love it!

My wife and I have a rule that all new beds we encounter must be initiated as soon as possible. But I would have to say our biggest reason is like Ohiocouple above the fact that we are away from the phone is probably the biggest reason for more often and longer for us.

by the way - Cell Phones on vacation are a major party foul.

For several years now, when we go on vacation, there are two boys in the bed next to us in that hotel room. Once, in the Smokies, we stayed in a cabin with a downstairs "Master" and an upstairs sleeping loft. We had a wonderful time making love with the lights on, even. Next morning we discovered that there were one-inch gaps in the floor of the sleeping loft. We've always wondered if the kids were watching... When they are 21 I'm gonna ask!

I always took my vacations to Florida.

I broke off a relationship and moved here.

Now I don't know where to go for one.

WHen I get stressed out though I do go to a motel.

I go to the Hilton. It is really neat to just lounge around. I go swimming. When someone comes in and I am on my first lap I get out of the pool and comment that I really didn't think I could do 40 laps. Inevitably I get into a conversation.

I love to pull the sheets up and climb under them and just read a book. The sheets they use must have more....um....threads than mine cuz they really feel nice.

I meet people I will never know again in the lounge because it is right by the Melbourne airport. I have met people from Scandavia, Australia, and a couple from Georgia too. The one in the ole USSR. THey told me about the conditions there and I shortly found out that they were a couple that were brought together by a russia bride internet service.

I have met a lot of people from England though. The people from the UK are most concerned about the conditions. They want everything just so. They are appauled at the lack of variety on the menu's.

They attend Disney, and all the major attractions and seem to feel that Americans are just a bunch of morons. They would never consider getting a bed n breakfast in a small town because they fear the citizens. IT seems to me that they think they are in danger if they get off the beaten path.

I guess I would feel that way if I took a trip to say anyplace over the pond. They are appauled with our lack of culture but when I point them to local museums and the tremendous variety of culture we have there they seem to be amused.

ONe couple did follow my advice though. THey sent me a letter expressing gratitude that they went on a venture that replicated the ventures of the first Europeons that explored southern Florida. St Augustine was established quite a while before anyone knew about the pilgrims and that is a long way from where I am, but even here there are places that the brave pioneers from Spain broke the ground for those to follow.

Juan Ponce De Leon was credited for "discovering FLorida". It was France that really established the first real colonization of Florida though. They were protestants, and the Spanish resented the fact that they had tried many times to colonize and were thwarted by the French. After the British empirical regime came into the area shit hit the fan.

The artifacts are abundant around this area. Homes that have actually been here since the 1600's still exist.

I took a boat ride up an entrance to the intercoastal waterway, near Melbourne. It is called turkey creek now. I cannot remember what the British named it before though.

When you go there you are taking a step into several hundred years ago. This is one of the few places you can actually witness a real true to life vision of centuries gone by. The trees, wildlife, alligators, birds, and countless other works of mother nature make you feel as if you are in the Amazon, or some other tropicana.

I have not been here for one year so far. But I am starting to feel what this area in our country really is.

When you go on a vacation I think it is wise to not only enjoy the luxury of your hotel and the tourist attractions but to really find out what part of this place you are in played a role in what you are today.

I enjoyed the mints under my pillow also......

My girlfriend and I like to travel - we have been joking about trying to have sex in every state - as well as keeping track of countries, but it's kinda hard to plan a trip to somewhere like Iowa or Nebraska just to have sex.

Maybe we should start counting the Canadian Provinces and the Mexican states as well.

We've gotten 5 of the 7 continents, of the 2 we're missing, South America won't be a problem, but I'm not too sure how to score in Antarctica!

Antartica has wonderful people. They are mostly researchers and explorers....they have a real nice bar that most people are unfamiliar with too. IT is called the sub'zero. Just go south and when you reach the pole turn left.
