What kind of bed is the best for shtupping?

I recent romp in a water bed got me to thinking. What is the best kind of bed for sex? Is it a innerspring mattress? A premium mattress. A foam-pad mattress? An air-bladder mattress? A Japanese futon? No mattress (the living-room floor)?

My considered opionon right now, by the way, is that a water bed is not the best platform for sex. When I went up, she went down. My balls were going round-and-round.

I think there may be a learning curve with "water bads" (sic). We've had ours since '83 so we're likely to be biased.

I loved my water bed, but admittedly, if you are not used to them it is like watching a monkey with a football.

I am not sure I have a preference after that though. What ever works is good for me

Honestly, we've only ever tried an innerspring mattress. But it seems to work fine for us, unless there are two (or more) couples on it at once. Would love to try the others, but the folks at Sleepy's frown on that . . .

We did a foam mattress last week and it was fabulous! The only thing that sucked was it was a queen, so it got a little cramped, but their movements didn't translate over to our movements! It was great!

We used to have a water bed but changed it many years ago for a premium mattress. We much prefer the latter because it is much firmer and we don't roll around in it as we did in the water bed. Of course both beds were king size so there is more than enough room for us and another couple to play on the bed together.

Tried it once in a water bed and got seasick. Now that sucks.
Our personal preference is an air bed because you can make them as hard or soft as you like it. The only thing we have found with the air bed is play crossways of the two inner bladders. Otherwise you will find one of you lost in the space between the bladders.

If that happens we make a game out of it called "Hide and Go Suck".

Truthfully we have never found a bad bed to play in....some are just better than others.

For reasons of restless leg syndrome, we have two long twin beds in a hinged frame. These net the same size as a king.

For reasons of back trouble, one twin has a board underneath the mattress raising that side 3/4".

Laying her with her hips just on the high side of the middle line puts her up enough to make a big difference to both of us.

We really liked our TempurPedic king bed. It's just the right firmness and no bounce from other folks on the same bed. You can do whatever you want and the mattress doesn't move around. Love it. However, some people don't like it for the same reason they don't like sleeping on it, which is that some folks find it retains too much heat for them. I've never noticed this, but I'm cold-blooded .

One that doesn't collapse or fold up. Seriously I don't think we ever put much thought in the bed, we are usually busy enjoying our partners whether it be on the bed, floor or what ever.

It's been at least 20 years since I had sex on a water bed, and it was an old school water bed then, so lots of wave action. As I remember, once we figured out the motion of the ocean, it wasn't bad. You just had to keep the right rhythm, lest ye be thrown off the bed.

Good call. Back when we purchased our camper, I swear, that was one of the first "benefits" I noticed in our home on wheels.

Naaa, comedy gold would have been on the river bed in a canoe..... when a group of 15 church campers came around the corner of the river unexpectedly to our nakid surprise. The first few canoer's we spared no mercy, they saw it all... including, who we presumed to be the preacher, as he was the loudest shouting "Oh dear god" over and over The rest saw us "shtupping" behind the bushes, getting our clothes back on.

Yea, its raining here today as usual . So our "way to old" king size ( I think it has springs ?) bed, is going to be a great shoice for shtupping with a movie and nap.
