Does sex help relieve cold symptoms?

I've heard that having sex really helps head aches, but does it help with cold symptoms?

I'm assuming it's just the common cold no fever, just achy body, congestion etc...

but really don't think it helps any...

'course you might make an effort to feel better at least during sex, or you might sleep a little better after... who knows.

Sex releases endorphins, the drug in your brain that makes you feel good. Just like after a good exercise session, you feel great. That's what's supposed to take care of the headache. Don't know about the rest of your symptoms. But it'd be worth a try.

Well, at any rate, it might help to take your mind off your symptoms . . . so long as you aren't trying to give oral sex with a completely blocked-up nose.

Suffocation is not much fun at all.

About the last thing that I want when I am miserable with a cold is sex with anyone, period.

I think a good book and a warm bed (alone) probably does me more good than having sex. When I turn the corner though of getting well.... look out! I am making up for lost time!

I am with you on this one. Just leave me alone. Hubby on the other hand could get horny with 103.5 fever and the flu. Men...go figure.

Well I already said once that when I get a cold and need to blow my nose the fact I have an orgasm is a good help to unblock my nose... LOL

Now what about other symptoms ? I assume that if you keep your socks when you make love you will keep your feet warm and will prevent yourself to get a cold

I think that they want us to be as miserable as they are, one of those 'tit for tat' deals. Last thing I want when I am well and he is sick, is an infected bunch of little warrior sperm attacking my healthy system! Here we go about the sperm wars again!
