Homemade Sex Toys

Yes, HBO has a new episode (number 33) of Real Sex. JoAnn and I watched it yesterday evening (HBO On-demand). Now JoAnn is thinking that she could make money being a "Phone Actress". Do any of you know how this is done (phone sex for money) or have any actual experience?

No experience or direct knowledge on this one, but I had a friend who worked for a company called Live Ops. She basically had to be the person who took orders when folks called in to order stuff through tv ads/infomercials. Basically, she went online to sign up for "blocks" of time, during which her home phone line had to be kept open/available for incoming calls. When it rang, the product information would pop up on her computer screen, and she would have to enter the customer's information/complete the sale. I imagine the "phone actress" thing might be similar. I just don't know who you'd contact for that.

Mr. Sweet tells me I'd be great at it. The only catch is, I can't stand the sound of my own voice. (shrugs)

I'd be curious to know what you find out, though . . .

Curiosity got the best of me, had to yahoo it. Came up with job listings and web sites.. didnt click on any of them but seems like a lot of listings for it.

Will do. Still investigating. I think she's serious about this. And I do not want to underestimate her. I've regretted it in the past.
