I don't think I'm an "ADDICT" - but some of those answers were skewed I think.

Maybe we're pretty vanilla with a little kink thrown in?! We enjoy all sorts of multiple sexual activity with more than a few people and I don't think this makes us addicts. Makes us fun!!

I scored a 2. I'm not surprised as I do it for fun and adventure, not just for the sex. The sex is just bonus. My husband scored a 5.

That reminds me of a couple of salesmen I had working for me once. They kept talking about 'The Western Club' in OKC and how many gals they'd pick up there. Well, I'd never heard of it and finally asked them where it was. They confessed it was the name of the AA (alcoholics Anonymous) club in the high-rent district of town. They figured that if the wives were compulsive and addictive about drinking they'd be that way about sex too. And, they said they were correct and scored a lot.

Haha I never get hit on. I wouldn't say I'm kinky really, it just takes a lot to please me. Well, ok, yes I guess I'm pretty kinky. I have an incredibly high sex drive and I think about sex about as much as a fifteen yr old boy.

Not to be a wet blanket but most of those questions were not geared toward fun, but red flags of addiction and self destructive behavior.

The way to read the graph is that no score means you ARE an addict per say, but where in the spectrum addicts fall in the score.

While I think most sexual 'addiction' claims are bullshit, I'd be concerned with a 13.

I'm not concerned about it. I don't have an addiction, I've gone over a full year now without any sexual contact and I haven't resorted to masturbating in public restrooms, molesting minors, or soliciting the aid of sex workers. Nor have I had random one night stands with strangers from the bar. I'm not a deviant in any way. I don't go after children or animals and I've had an incredibly modest amount of sexual partners, all consensual, sane, and disease free.

I'm not addicted to anything besides caffeine. I do, however, think about sex a lot of the time. I answered yes to the ones asking whether you've ever been worried about your sexual exploits or if they've affected your life because I lost a relationship over my desire to swing and spent a good deal of time worrying whether my love of threesomes was degrading to myself as a woman. I'm over that now. I don't think this in any way makes me a bad person.

But thanks for the concern. I'm quite alright.

I think in the case of that particular test ... it asks a lot of questions about repressing your sexuality or feeling guilt or the need to hide your sexuality or if you've ever had problems associated with sex.

And depending on your past - this could've been something which someone used to have (the test wasn't specific about CURRENTLY dealing with these issues or just EVER dealt with those issues)

I wouldn't worry ... 13 isn't THAT high a number

I wasn't worried to begin with. I know I'm normal, I don't need a test to pigeonhole me as an addict. I was under the impression it was mostly for fun, and not a true diagnosis.

Growing up in a strict Catholic family also led to a lot repression with my sexuality because my family makes it clear that they will disown you. There are a lot of questions that are vague and can be both yes and no. I just went with yes for the sake of being honest. I re-took it saying no to those ones and got a 9. It's all relative.
