I've been a member of this board going on 7 hours now as we are new to the "scene". I read your blog on this and clicked on the link and have read the posts. I know I'm late but here I am now. It's ironic that I have come across this because I stated, we are NEW to this and just over the past couple of weeks, my wife has been receiving "sext messages" from someone that I want her to be with. Since I can't vouch for the security of someone else's phone, or their resolve to keep certain things private, I wouldn't be too into it with playmates. At a possible crime scene, one of the first things done, is to collect all cell phones and computers. They have found them to be invaluable in the course of their investigation.

One would hope that this possibility would never come up, but it bears keeping in mind. Especially if it might cause some very embarrassing questions to come up.

Years ago, I was aware of one state police agency collecting information about possible crimes, by means that were not always legal, but they were not going to use the information in court, they just wanted to know what was happening for further investigations.
