question about penis size

There are lots of threads on here asking if penis size matters, but I didnt see any threads on WHAT penis size matters!

I once saw a survey of women who said that a penis that is 8x6 (inches) is idea. There were some sizes, on the graph, approaching, and bigger, then this size that said pleasurable but not ideal...not doing a ver good job of explaining here is a link to the graph. This was discouraging because 8x6 is huge...like pornstar huge!...like less then 1% of the population has penis this big huge!

My penis is just over 6 inches long and 5.5-5.75 inches in girth (depending on how turned on and hard I am) and is 2 inches wide...I have had women who didnt seem too impressed and some women who realy responded to it and thought it was big. I used to be self-conscience about the fact that I didnt have a giant penis because that's all you see in porn. And my penis doesnt look big on me, Im a big muscular guy (6'2, 235)
But now that I know I well above average in girth im cool. Only 5% of men have a girth as big or bigger then me...comdine that with the fact that I have to wear large size condoms and now I happy. I satified with my penis...I realize that most men out there would love to have my penis and Now I really dont think about it anymore, but im still curious.

I think "most" guys at one point or another have this issue of am I big enough. I won't say all, because I know some realize or just don't care. I can confess that I used to worry a lot when MrsVan and I first got into the LS. I never worried that I wasn't good enough for her, but it sure did seem that I was usually on the "short end" of the stick in our encounters.

Then I did some research, and will admit to actually doing some measurments of my own. Well I don't worry so much anymore. I know that I am statistically speaking a little larger than average, but not huge. I know that I haven't had any complaints (not that I think most women would say so direclty anyways ) so I am ok with it.

I do think, just guessing here and going with what I have heard from MrsVan and other playmates, that they much prefer girth over length, in general. I have also learned very very long time ago, as in way back in High School, that no matter what, if you take care of your partner BEFORE intercourse, it really won't matter much how big or small you are, she is probably going to have a good time.

Well who knows really. The question is pretty much beaten to death and I think 99% of guys worry about it (the 1% being the guys that are huge ) and women really dont help LOL

When it comes up in a situation like this, women will *almost* universally chime in with "doesnt matter", "other ways to satisfy", etc. But then once this type of topic is over, the "mystique" of the larger than average member seems to kick back in. I know of more than a few women who have fucked a guy PURELY because they heard he was "big". And Im talking guys that I am pretty much certain they would NOT bother with other wise. These are basically vanilla women also.

I suspect the reality is that most women probably could handle and/or want something larger than average, but the fact is that for whatever genetic reason, it really IS rare.

I have friends that are larger and while sure, there are women that claim they wouldnt want that full time, their experiences are pretty consistently women gaping in awe at what they have, saying "my god you are so huge" and pretty much going nuts.

But again, there isnt any surgery to fix it, so if you're of average endowment all you can really do is accept it and move on (and avoid women that have spent a lot of time with the 1% crowd )

I guess what I've come to learn in life is that yes, size matters, but thankfully most women will at least cut you some slack and make the best of what they get. If that isnt enough for you, there's always therapy

So...where do "we" get all these percentages and geographical references from?

I have heard people over the years say this and that, bigger and smaller, percentage of this and percentage of that, which race this and which race that...but for the life of me I have never seen any "facts" to any of it.

I've never seen a scientific "Ratio" chart of size to girth referenced to the percentage of the population, or even a scientific study that factualizes penis length....

I hear a lot of talk about it though....a lot of references to it though...but I've never seen any facts...

Kinsey and Masters and Johnson both did studies with actual measurements.

Both had issues with statistical sampling, but still, they probably had a better sampling than most people, even people who've seen a lot of erect cocks up close and personal.

I particularly love when an author can place outrageous characters and settings into an immediately acceptable and believable context. This isnt a series I recognize right off the bat but would love to check it out.

With regards (back on topic) to the unused vagina in NYC, that is hilarious as well I hear really varying things on the length of the vaginal canal, though, and I've never heard of 9". I think the average would be nowhere near that, and much more like 5-7" (thank god )

That would be one of my favorite authors, Lois McMaster Bujold from a scene in the short story "Labyrinth" part of "Borders of Infinity."

Miles is locked in Ryoval's basement with a teenage werewolf. No one said anything about this in his ImpMil training...

Bujold writes really good Military/Romance SF and has recently been writing Fantasy. She does a very good job at exploring sex and sexuality issues in her writing without making them the focus of the story or having them distract much from the central storyline.

She also has a keen insight into what motivates people and how interpersonal communications works and fails. I've learned a lot from her over the years and a lot of what I teach has origins in her works.

Yes, I read a lot. Curse or blessing depending on your perspective, since I can go through the average novel in 2-3 hours, it means I am often wanting for pleasure reading. Helps when I am reading for learning though.

The average vagina is about 4" in depth normally and lengthens to 6-9 inches upon arousal.

The ideal penis size is the penis that gets used.

We spent the last couple mornings at a nude beach. I'm very 'average' and I fit right in and and other 'average' men were there with their wives too, all hanging out and being average. Sometimes I was hanging low (hot sun) other times I was playing 'Mr. Turtle' (water + cool wind).

Maybe it's really not 'one size fits all'
